I don't want to give myself too much credit, but I think the first video I made on Alador definitely helped in creating a healthy amount of discourse around his character lol
Or at least that's what I tell myself to feel important, anyways here's the long awaited sequel to that video.
Don't expect this one to make the rounds as much but I just had to make it lol
I have questions how you get that video if I cant find it?
Damn, ego is horrific with this one.
"Edalyn's kid?"
Everything adorable and hilariously dorky about him summed up in two words.
I love how he sees luz as Edalyns kid
Not just some human
@@ranksblex336 I mean, I have no idea why he thought that, because he wasn't there when Eda said ,,student/child" but he does have Pentagram and King broadcasted his message there, so maybe he saw it and thought ,,Oh hey that human kid is living with Edalyn? I guess she's her daughter or something", or maybe Eda has said that Luz is her kid on Pentagram ya know, being a proud mom
It's cool that he's just completely fine with them dating, he's just a bit surprised .
@@175endless His surprise is mostly on her dating Eda’s kid
@@nexaaaaaaa That's something I love about that moment - Alador's been completely out of the loop on his daughter's love life and Harpy Eda, but it's simultaneously made clear here that even *he* can see from a mile off that Luz is basically Eda's child in all the ways that matter.
Alador isn't the worst parent compared to Odalia. Granted, he's still pretty bad and if he does get a redemption arc, I hope he can acknowledge his mistakes and how much time he had missed with his children, he should seek to fix that. Plus he also needs to stand up to his wife and get her to lay off Amity and the twins.
Oh hey warden wrath is in the background Neet I guess he was waiting for his chance to win
@@diaborodevil3161 From what I could see Warden Wrath was the main antagonist of this episode, somthing he hasn't been since the first episode
Well, making Odalia keep her end of the promise on episode 2 says a lot, doesn't mean there's not still a whole road to improve
Same. I hope both of them get redeemed
hes ofc gonna get redeemed
I love everything in the picture. We see Darius booing, Odalia simping, and Eda and Raine goofing off together. Everything in the picture is adorable
What picture?
@@morgancovelli3727 the photo Amity had of her dad
Odalia was not simping in my opinion.
It looked like she was plotting.
In a future episode, when Alador finally wakes up, he and his wife might have to start talking about terms of divorce. I'd hate to see how their children react to that noise.
@@morgancovelli3727 0:41 if you couldn’t find it
Just notice also some1 that could be Kikimora parent or some1 with the same race has her something behind Aldor on the right raising its red hand
I adore that Amity didn't accept his hug, most shows would have had them hug even when the parent didn't acknowledge the harm they did, while this feels like a really good stepping stone moving forward in their distant relationship while also having Amity set boundaries.
as amity said "it's a start."
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought that too, Amity knows her worth and what she needs... man's gotta earn that hug and become a better dad! So proud of her!
lol most
Being around Luz showed her she’s doesn’t have to earn love and worth she deserves to be loved im pretty sure season 1 amity would’ve not stand up to him
I was like 😧🤯😱🫢
Probably because I wasn’t raised like that 🫥
Love that little touch at the end, Amity doesn’t go for the hug, and he clearly understands what that means, even if Amity didn’t really consciously intend anything by it. It’s a little thing but I like the fact that they took that step to show even if they’ve started the healing they aren’t going to have a healthy father daughter bond immediately.
I really appreciate that.
I see the same, healing with relatives and stuff isn't like "yeah a hug at the first step/conversation cuz yes". It's actually like Amity said "it's a start"
Yeah. I think it's also harsh but necessary that Amity gave her dad a handshake instead of the hug he was moving in for, to impress on him that they've made a good first step but he's got a lot of work to do patching things up between them.
That is actually pretentious, lmao 😂 imagine not hugging your dad, what a F*CKING LOSER.
I love it so much because this is her putting a boundary up with him. Its her saying, "we're not there yet but we'll get there eventually" and its so important to show this in media. You can clearly tell that they both love each other but that they're finally starting to mend their relationship with healthy boundaries and communication. It's a first step but it's a start (brb, crying about this in the club).
the way i see it, Alador is a bad parent, but he isn't a bad person. seems like he just wasn't really cutout for parenthood, and i'm glad this episode showed that mending a relationship takes time, and you don't always need to forgive someone who's hurt you immediately. I think Alador has a much better chance at redemption, and honestly I kinda hope we see him actively trying to be a better father in the future. Odalia on the other hand, is the worst and i hope she never gets redeemed
Update after S2 E20: feeling hella validated in my comment rn
Odalia might if Belos tries to hurt her children. You'd be surprised how a mother would react to her children being in danger.
Of course I am talking about *true* mothers, not just women who gave birth to children. So, with how Odalia has so far been portrayed, chances are 50/50 that she will stand by her family when they are in danger.
However, it's Disney so they are definitely going to make Odalia stand up to Belos the second he tries to hurt her children.
Yeah, pretty much. The optimistic part of me wants her to take a bullet for one of her kids in the heat of a dangerous moment, but the much larger, louder, angrier part of my brain says she wouldn't be caught dead risking her life for anyone or dirtying her clothes just to save her own flesh and blood.
The way I see it, Alador probably is a bad parent because he wasn’t really allowed to parent. The little that we’ve seen him, he always seems to be doing something that his wife wanted him to do in some way or another. Really, it seems she manipulates him the same way she tries to manipulate Amity, Ed, and Em.
I don’t agree odalia can totally have a redemption
The things is everyone shows love in a different way and odalia sees it as teaching her child to be powerful and smart I think she just needs someone like amity or alador to set her straight
Odalia just doesn’t understand about how what she is doing is hurting amity more then helping :)
@@wolfwarren6376 She basically encouraged his fascination and workaholic tendencies to the point of his falling into neglecting his children for his work thus allowing her to not only sell his hard work (as the clear face of their business), and also have near singular control of their kids lives.
It's kind of sad, cause as we saw in the flashback they were both rather mean-spirited bullies, but I think Alador grew out of it while Odalia didn't.
"Keeps trying to dye my hair green."
I imagine her mother chasing her around with a bottle of dye every other day. Harrowing.
I can imagine Odalia hiding behind a tree trying to dye Amity's hair lol
I imagine her hiding behind a couch amity sits on and then slowly comes up and says "Oh amityyyyy" While shaking the green hair dye gently
I imagined it as Odaoia trying to dye Amity's hair in her sleep, lol xD
“HEEEEEEREE’S ODALIA!”
2:06 these interactions between the adults make me wish we had a spin off series with THEIR childhood adventures. Like, what is the history these people share? You get me?
Yesss, I doubt we'll get that much backstory, I think we'll only get some in the ,,Them's the breaks, kid" or whatever the next episode is called.
And even then we'll be focusing on Raine, Eda and probably Lilith and not the others
I would adore seeing how everything turned out the way it is, for example when did Odalia and Alador started dating, why does Darius hate Alador, was Lilith friends with anybody, we can see the Warden Wrath in the picture too, how did he act when he was younger, etc. I think we'll get an answer to "why does Darius hate Alador" question, but maybe in a latter episode
I would like some more flashbacks of the past (a spinoff would be perfect, but disney hated toh in general). like how willow's dads met. were odalia and alador ever in love or was it pure business. what happened between alador and darius. some more shenanigans with eda and raine. how were the coven heads selected. just these kids being schoolers. why did lilith color her hair blue. we saw boscha's moms (?), why is one them looking like willow
some of it is probably going to be explained soon, though
See Alador seems like he actually cares about Amity whereas Odalia is just trying to live vicariously through her.
I think I'm starting to piece a few things together about Alador's character.
He and Darius were both prodigies in the Abomination track, but while Darius went to join the Emperor's Coven, Alador wanted to carve out his own path and make a name for himself, without the Emperor's Coven. However, after joining the Abomination Coven, his abomination business never picked up and he never had the proper funding to due what he wanted. He was later approached by Odalia who offered him a sponsorship/partnership, and later a "business-based marriage". This lead to Darius regarding Alador as a "sell out".
Side note: I wonder if Alador also had a "hobby" in Beast Keeping like his son, basted on his interest whenever he sees some sort of creature.
There is also a difference in how they use their abomination magic. Darius managed to be a monstrous hybrid of sorts with a hint of elegance while Alador being tech savvy, to the point and more raw in power.
What I wanna know is why does he have that book written by Darius? How much you wanna bet those two Abominable warlocks are throw down?
@@SnazzyjazzBro I wanna see a fight of montsus elegance vs techno goofy
I wonder if we will find out he's like Luz and had never wanted to pick just one coven.
But isn’t Darius head of the abomination coven?
Oooh, you're right about his interest in beasts. I wonder hoe much of his heart really is in abominations.
it's nice to see that Alador is not completely a bad parent. Just one of those flawed types that are so passionate about their craft that they miss out on family matters going around them.
I think it’s less about him being passionate and more about Odelia (however it’s spelled) manipulating him how she manipulates her kids. She’s the worst
"Edalin's kid?"
Not the human kid.
Luz is just straight-up Eda's kid as far as most people are concerned now. And Dale called King his grandson right away. Eda missed out on some of those life choices because of the curse but now she's getting to experience them and I'm here for it.
One thing I love is how in those two words alone, Alador demonstrates he's been as oblivious to Amity's love-life as he was to Harpy Eda, and yet even *he* can tell from a mile away that Luz is Eda's kid.
@@ecthox-1mork909 I feel like by this point in time in the show just about everyone in the boiling aisle just accept that Luz is Eda’s kid
I love that amity shook his hand instead of giving him a hug, he’s not giving him full validation but shows that they’re working on it now and it’s amazing
I find him incredibly relatable: distractible to the point of seeming apathy, but still always wanting the best for friends and kin.
I think he's on the autistic specrum and a good representation of it. Great for people like me
Odalia seems to view Amity more as a pet than an individual. Alador may not be nearly as bad, but he’s still enabling Odalia’s terrible actions by staying quiet and distancing himself from his family. I like how they called him out for this and acknowledged that he isn’t a good parent. That being said, Alador at least seems to care about Amity. I just hope he can redeem himself later and be a better parent.
There was a couple moments tho where Alador stood up for Amity, going as far as to nearly challange his wife when she tried to go back on her word.
I dont think Alador ever really thought about parenthood, or even a relationship as the one he has with Odalia seems almost arranged as if they were one of those "I guess we might as well date, get married, have kids." Couples.
0:44 you can literally see Darius booing him lmao

I really like Alador's character as you know he's been awful to Amity and how she shakes his hand shows he is not instantly forgiven but there's room for him to change.
awful really he doesn't really do anything he just sides with the mom and also stopped the mom for making more chaos also a handshake nah bro a I need a hug thats the first step a handshake
@@devontheguy6039 Alador siding with the mom still makes him just as bad since he’s basically being a henchman and enabling her
Hes a bad parent but his sleep deprived and does everything his wife tells him moms can be very scary so i can understand it
I’d say more so he’s just making stuff for a living and his wife orchestrates for him on what he needs to make, so he gets so caught up on working that it doesn’t help him be a proper parent and lets Odalia do all her “parenting”
plus odalia is prob an elite social hierarchy enjoyer
The Owl House really needs spin-offs on the history of everyone before Luz, Amity, Willow and Vee.
Well 2 spinoff series that have floated around by the fandom is one Centered around Vee with her friends with flashbacks to her time at camp 2nd is a high school setting of Eda's generation being able to see a lot of characters back when they were the same age as most of the main cast personally I like the working title of Hexside days but I don't know.

Yeah he was like ,, Shut up I don't even want to be here"
Damn Amity's childhood must've been so bad. A manipulative mother who emotionally and mentally abused her, and a father that was never really there, siblings who pranked and kinda bullied her, the pressure to be perfect, and all that with no friends and the guilt of the whole Willow incident. I'm so glad Amity has friends and an awesome girlfriend now, plus Alador trying to be a better parent. I hope Odalia tries to be better too, but I'm pretty sure Odalia won't try to change.
Yes, yes, Alador is a bad parent and I don't disagree that he enables Odalias shitty behaviour to their kids.
That said, as someone who has/had a strained relationship with his father, I'm glad he actually *listened* to his kid and seems like he'll try to make an effort to mend their relationship. I especially liked when she set boundaries for him with that hug turned handshake and he respected it. (Take it from me. Being forced into a hug you don't want from your father, esp after fighting, is not a pleasant experience.)
He may not be a good parent now, but I genuinely hope after this ep, he'll be a better one.
He cares, he's just inherently bad at parenting, I think. His personality doesn't lend itself well to it. And it doesn't help that his wife is basically playing on the other team.
But since he actually cares, he will change his behavior now that Amity made him realize he wasn't paying enough attention.
As somebody with ADHD I think I see where Alador is coming from in this episode and I think it also adds more to his relationship with Darius.
Alador states that he spent most of his teen years “goofing off”. He probably sees it this way because he lost the chance to become head of the Abomination Coven to Darius.
He clearly loves Amity and has a lot of pride in her talent so maybe he just didn’t want her making the same mistakes he made.
Still at the end of the day, he realized his mistakes and genuinely tries to reconcile with his daughter and that is something I can respect.
Not gonna lie but he's not a bad person as we first thought, unlike his witch of a wife
most likely suffers from hyperfixation, getting so absorbed in his work that he lets Odalia do most of the parenting. Plus only getting information from Odalia mostly.
Alador got one kinda start of redemption, Odalia hasnt so we dont know for sure yet.
Well I mean, Odalia literally is a witch.
@@nadavcohen3721 I think you know what I was intending to say
He isn’t controlling but he’s a workaholic
Slightly clueless workaholic
Slightly cluless and adhd workaholic
The first thing he does when he sees harpy eda is put on his goggles and try to study her. This man is too cute
Also ive not heard anyone talking about this but the line "it's a start" that Amity uses(2:51) is the same line willow uses in the episode where Amity and luz go into her mind
Parallels!!
I’m glad they adresses alador’s behaviour towards his children, he’s not a bad person but he’s been emotionally distant from his kids and hasn’t been the best parents towards them
2:33 I thought Darius was hating on them because Alador made them. But if his own daughter can't stand to look at them, you KNOW he's doing something wrong with his abominations.
Emira even called them "embarrassing" via Penstagram in the previous episode.
I definitely see Alador being on the spectrum he means well but his emotionally distant behaviour towards his kids has hurt them, glad to see that he’s actively trying to mend things over with his kids, being on the spectrum doesn’t excuse the behaviour but being called out on it helps that person improve themselves he’s just been addicted to his work which I can relate to since my dad is like that but my dad has been good at reaching out to us
I agree! I'm on the spectrum too, and I saw it from his first appearance
Why does every character in this show have such a lovely voice? All of the voice actors are excellent!
Damn, Alador got his hug rejected and he's been demoted to a HANDSHAKE. Big oof

She hugs him later on at least.
So sad to see how far the demon bounty hunter has fallen
At least it’s “better” than cleaning the streets lol
I love to see more Alador and Odalia and Eda interactions since they were classmates I want to know their dynamic
Literally SAME
0:38 I disagree! I'd say abomination magic in itself is pretty cool. Like, this show really made commanding a hulking monstrosity and BEING that hulking monstrosity look VERY cool!
I don't think Amity would would disagree with that. She herself specializes in abomination magic. I think she's just saying that once Alador joined the coven, he never did anything rebellious or interesting.
0:44 Odalia in the background though-
Thats probably when she fell for alador lmao
Look at Darius!
@@jadziawynter9241 Why does Darius look like a baby
This man really just went along with what Odalia was doing and stood by while she dishes out mental abuse. He could've been a good parent if he didn't have the attention span and awareness of a *goldfish.* Pretty satisfying to see him realize the error of his ways.
When he shoved her back and Emira and Edric were all like
Booo
What the heck dad dad >:/
Idk why that was so cute 😭
Because it’s shows how much they care about their little sister to not tolerate anyone, even their own parents, treating her like that. It’s sweet
Alador isn’t a good parent, he doesn’t really pay attention to his children, he’s more passionate about his work, and he’s basically got that “air headed scientist” character going for him. With that said though he’s someone that at least tries to understand his kids, not well mind you but still. Between the 2 blight parents he’s the one thats likely to become “better” in a way.
2:32 I love how Alador is oblivious to Amity's love life, Harpy Eda and likely a lot of other things but even *he* can see from a mile off that Luz is definitely Eda's child in all the ways that matter. :)
2:50 The way Alador moves in for a hug and Amity switches it out for a handshake. Harsh but necessary - Amity's showing Alador that he's made a good step forward in mending their relationship but I think this is also impressing on Alador just how much work he's still got ahead of him before their relationship is fully mended.
I don’t blame Alador for not realizing Amity doesn’t want to join the coven
In past episodes ( like the one when we first meet Lilith ) Amity is over the moon when the emperors coven panel starts
And then when she has a broken leg we see a poster of it in her room
And sure her mom was the one that originally forced her into it, but at the same time it seems that every kid in the isles wants to be in the emperor’s coven
So maybe as a kid Amity wanted to join and her mom was glad because she didn’t have to make it into a fight but then after Amity met Luz, she realized that she has other options and it isn’t only just about power and status.
So I don’t blame her dad for being confused about it, but it’s been such a long time now in the show that he should’ve picked up hints or even had a conversation with her and they would’ve talked about this topic.
He’s more of the neglectful parent out of the two
Amity shaking his hand when he goes in for a hug made me kinda happy tbh. Proud of our girl for building boundaries, but still eager for progress.
I love his entrance in this episode
Alador may be a bad parent, but deep down he’s not a bad person
“It’s a start.” I love that kids growing up with these kinds of shows are gonna be taught proper communication skills and how people should be treated
2:51 oooooo you can feel the rejection there, I can tell that hit him hard ❤️🩹
This episode proved that Alador while at first seems to only care for his work he does love his children and wants what's best for them but when amity talked to him what she wants he starts to understand that while he does love his kids he and odalia can't control them and should let them find their own place in the world and not force their views on them
1:17
Alador actually has the gigachad jawline.
"That ain't Mittens, that's gauntlets, she mad" may be the best subtitle in the video.
Some fans hate Alador... I understand some reasons why... Hopefully he gets redeemed and make amends with his children. I'm sure Dana has tricks up her sleeve concerning the Blight family. "It's a start"...
I only hate Odalia so far, and I like the twins, Amity, Willow, Gus, Luz, Hooty, Eda, Lilith, and King much much more than Odalia.
Even before they started mending their relationship, Amity already admired her Dad and wanted to be like him. I think it shows she always knew he was different from her mom, and had been trying to "reach" him somehow. Participating in the tournament was one of her attempts to do that, as she specifically says she wanted to have something in common with her dad.
Also, the way she uses abominations is similar to him. She summons then out of a pot she carries, too.
Alador he's gaara level strong you see that barrel behind behind his back like how gaara with his gored
Now he needs to find the ninja clan and follow the ninja way
I just love Alador, he gives me Legosi vibes (who knows Beastars will know who it is) and their personalities really amuse me! Like some depressing/tired face with the eye bags, the back crouched and sometimes the goofy smile (which means they also have some happiness in their personalities and it's not just the tiredness on their faces), like when Alador was chasing a butterfly if I recall correctly (episode 2)?
Anyway, other than that he really tries to be a good dad and the attempt of a hug with the smile at the end just really warmed my heart 💜
Anyone else notice that Alador seems to really like animals? There’s been several times he’s just left to follow a butterfly or something, even here he seems very interested in Eda’s owl form.
Dude probably wanted to be part of the beast coven but was forced into the abomination one.
I'm going to be honest- I feel like he was probably manipulated by either odalia or someone else to give up what he found fun- Probably odalia for the sake of keeping him on track. judging by the photo as well, it seems odalia only saw him for his skill and craftsman ship- not for who he actually was as a person. like she looks just like "m- impressive- he'll be useful"
I would also like to say that alador really has the signs of someone who is neurodivergent. he's either absent minded with his head in the clouds, or head down in his work. Maybe thats just a quirk he has, but who knows.
I did see a tweet from dana terrace saying that alador was one of the most interesting/one of her favorite characters to write, so even if he's not going to be the best person, he's at least going to be interesting.
I really hope that’s not the case. I wouldn’t put it past her, but I still don’t want that to be the case. My fav part about Odalia is her genuine love for her husband.
agreed
Actually I like tp think when Odalia was young in that photo she saw Alador as nothing but a tool, but as time went on she slowly actually fell in love with him and I hope that's the case
@@IlDottore_SecondHarbinger that's a nice love story..I like to believe that too sometimes when I'm thinking about anything else other than schoolwork😅
I wouldn't want it that way. Not everything has to be Odalia's fault. It seems that Alador just got too much into work and turned into the boring workaholic adult, who now views his hobby as slacking off and being unproductive.
I like that we got a confirmation that Odelia still tries to dye Amity's hair green. I was wandering it she gave up on it or not.
Alador’s a pretty alright parent honestly. He’s got some things to work out with between him and Amity, but atleast he’s trying.
He cares and wants the best for his daughter but it’s not too healthy.
I wish I could say the same for Odalia.
I truly think she isn’t bad, but I can’t find the word I’m looking for…
A narcissist living through her daughter works
Control freak?
Like, she wants the best for amity, but what she thinks is the best and not what she might actually want, and if anything starts going off tracks she'll try to put things back into place by any means necessary. That's probably part of why she wants to dye amity's hair green again
I think the best example for Odalia is similar to ming lee from turning red, Alma Madrigal from encanto, and the diamonds from Steven Universe, except times that to a hundred and in the worst way possible. She wants the best possible ideal for her children but unlike Ming, she is so inexorable and stuck up to her ways that she will do anything to keep her family she wanted them to be without taking a moment to think "Is this really the best for her children.""
in other words, she has full control over her family's decision.
Domineering or overbearing
She displays some signs of narcissism. Every one of her children have to be perfectly like her, including their looks. Honestly I’m surprised Alador gets to keep his hair brown and look somewhat messy, but I’m more surprised that Odalia is staying with him and yet trying to leech out almost every single aspect of him out of their children. I mean, Amity’s older brother looks very similar to Alador, but he was probably forced or pressured to wear a concealment stone to look less like his father. Amity’s hair is brown like Alador’s, but Odalia wants to keep it green like her. The one thing Amity and Alador share is their magic. I’m pretty sure Odalia married Alador just to use his powerful abominations to make a lot of money and have children that are very strong in abomination magic, too. I don’t think she really loves him if she hates seeing any part of him other than his magic in their children.
I like how alador is a terrible parent but a good person, he neglects his kids a lot but he is always busy with work and looks like he only gets 1 hour of sleep, but I like how he actually listens to his daughter in the end and mabye will become a way better parent in the end and will have less work and can focus on his children!
To me, Odalia and Alador are representations for different types of bad parents; the overly controlling, manipulative parent that demands perfection and order and if she doesn't get it she'll lose it, and the neglectful and absent parent that lets his wife do what she do with a 'yes dear, what ever you say, your the boss,' kinda attitude. The main difference is that while Odalia is stuck in her ways and seeming refuses to change despite how clearly miserabul her kids are due to her actions, once he realised what he did wrong, Aladore actively wants to change and be better, even willing to talk to his wife about Amitys hair (and I'm sure convincing that woman to change her mind on something is quite the heavy task) Alador also seems rather tired, possibly due to how much work he does, which is probably why he's so absent (I also feel like Alador dose most of the work in the company, being the main and seemingly only inventer, Odalia most likely deals with paper work and PR, plus being the face of the company,) My last point is that while Amity is seemingly disting herself form her mom, she clearly wants a relationship with her dad.
I like how the characters in this show aren’t just “good” or “bad” they’re all complex characters even the ones that have only had a few minutes of screen time and some lean more towards one alignment than the other but almost every character we’ve been introduce to is very dynamic and I LOVE that
2:40 The man has got a one-track mind, lol.
And Amity knows how to catch her dad's attention, apparently =)
ive a feeling when alador gets more redeemed and amends with amity, everyone is really gonna defy odalia and her social hierarchy status in her circle with her company
and then ofc amity confronting her mother's ideology stuff, since she doesnt wanna join the emp's coven now, and has a free-will journey arc

Alador is like I don't have time for this and didn't beat you when I originally won this thing.
he's a bad parent but atleast he still cares about his daughter
based on what amity said, i think at one point he was present in her life but most likely odaila interved and mucked it up. I'm glad he gotta work for his place back in amity's life.
I am looking forward to some sort of interaction between him and Darius, especially now that we've seen both of them get a bit of depth added to their character with Alador in this episode and Darius in the last one.
Alador looked so much happier back then to me he was probably a free spirit but once Odalia or other things got a hold of him he had to throw things away. Give up the lifestyle he would’ve had to make Odalia happy in some ways that’s how I see it
Wow, such a great episode really like great and sad episode. Especially when Amity in that pink sunglasses, Alador realizing her daughter's decisions at the end and learning that Luz's dad died. Wow, what an episode.
2:06 Lol at Alador lowering his glasses and reaching towards Eda. Its like he is saying "You're an anomaly so I'm gonna study you now".
And the face Eda makes at him seems to confirm it. Its like she's saying "No you can't study me you science-obsessed creep". One presumes she knows he is like this from prior experience.
1:43 "Oh, boo yourselves! I'm Alador Blight!"
1:05 oh maybe the ex warden uses abomination magic as well!
I need to know more about Alador and his history with Darius. If we do get something like that, it will most likely be in an episode fully surrounding the Blight family.
0:42 Oh gosh now I see at the background of picture Eda with Raine (on a skull) and Odalia with Darius in the audience XDD
I just love him so much 💜 his voice, his character I just love this so much.
Emira: what the heck dad?!
I'm going to put that audio on Loona
He's a good dude, he just gets swept up in his wife's orders.
I love when the twins stick with their younger sibling and boo their father 😅 honestly such a nice moment
Can we take a moment and appreciate the style of amity's siblings. I love them so much.
Okay, listen i think his reaction to lumity was more of mild panic question. Cause not only did they try to kill Luz and one of the most powerful and michevious witches is basically her mom, but now holiday dinners will be so much more interesting and probably not in the favor of the blight parents.
I like how they set him up as a bad parent in the way that he doesnt really know how to do it but since he does seem to be a good person hes trying to improve
It seems like aboma-dad has been trusting his wife more on the day to day life with the kids while he works.
So now it kinda makes sense why we never really saw him around, and why aboma-mom is so controlling.
She handles the business side of the company and raises the kids, while the father focuses are on the company product/manufacturing and distribution. All full time work. And with that aboma-mom is trying to create opportunities for them to succeed on there own.
Man, I lost it with the Garret Bobby Ferguson…I was not expecting that! XD
2:50 BYE IF THIS HAPPENED TO ME AS A PARENT I WOULD CRY
It kind of breaks my heart that when alador was going for a hug amity shook his hand instead. It makes sense, of course. He’s probably not the best parent but at the same time it seems like amity wants him to notice her and wants to do things he did. He seems to be trying to look out for her safety and best interests in this episode but he definitely needs to communicate with his kids more, he seems neglectful
0:44 seeing Darius booing him in the picture is so funny!! 😂
I liked this episode cause we finally got to see how serious and strict her can be and last time we just saw him get distracted alot so he looked like a total goof but in this episode we see how good he is at using abomination magic and how strict and bad of a parent he is but atleast he's better than the mom
The “Edalyn.” “Alador.” “Were you always able to do that?” Interaction absolutely SLAYS me every time. They are so fucking funny I want to know everything that happened at Hexside during their time there!! Please Dana, drop the lore
I also think Alador’s proper, smooth voice is a really cool contrast to his.. everything else. It makes lines like the one above so much funnier.
I still need to hear this man apologize for threatening precious baby Willow. lol
Amity: “I bet you didn't even know I was dating Luz."
Alador: “Edalin's kid?”
0.44 you can see Eda and Rain in the background
Did you know that amity now uses invisible glyphs to be more stealthy because Tony learns from his mistakes
