- Hello everyone, I am currently sick so I am trying to get a lot of videos at once so I can rest later. :)
Anyway, we are almost at 50 subs and I am doing a special for that sooooooooooooo :)
Also, the clawthornes need to do some family therapy.

Eda's whole ordeal with the curse is kind of a metaphor for chronic illnesses, how it may cause harm to her and people around her, and how she can only keep it under control, not cure herself of it entirely.
Her whole part in Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Hooty's Door almost made me cry because of how relatable it is. Losing connection with someone you love because of the curse, and then having the same result after you try to hide the curse from people.
It just shows how well-written the show is, honestly.
My father was very blunt about it (bipolar, Asperger's, Anxiety) with me, "Son, you were born with these things, and you're going to die with them!!!!"
@@CarlosGuzman-vi9xw That's the best way to go about it! It might sting a little at first, but it's better than people lying to you about getting you healed.

I love that Raine’s non-binary, it’s the kind of exposure the community needs
I love how it doesn't feel forsed. A casual viewer like me can still pick up on it without it being violently showed in my face. They come of as a *person* not as a check on a list.
I also love how they’re not a monster or creature or alien species, something like that because (as much as I love Double Trouble,) it gets so tiring. I’m not some lizard creature from mars, I’m just enby. It’s nice to see Non Binary representation as just another person, instead of an outlier because apparently that’s the only way people understand not following the gender binary.

A good time for Eda to get therapy with her parents is when Lilith and Luz go on that quest to find out more about Philip (pretty sure it's Belos or his brother). Also, since everyone's counting, 21st.

Mine's a whole tub, of chocolate ice cream. I finished one once, in 1 to 2 hours.

We better meet Dell in 2b! He seems like such a kind and caring man, and probably still loves Eda. At least, I hope he does. Kinda like how Raine still is friendly with Eda, and they're concerned about her.

In lilith and eda’s mom’s defence she was looking for a cure, so while it’s crap that she missed out on lilith’s initiation it’s possible that she just lost track of time or thought that lilith would do fine but eda needs more attention due to her condition
Except it's implied this is after Eda already told her to stop because she had the elixirs to manage it. She also could have stopped for a day to go congratulate her daughter and support her.
Parents who give everything to the sick child while ignoring the healthy one need to be called out for mistreating their children, and as much as I love Gwen, she horribly neglected Lilith and ignored Eda's wishes about her own curse.
Name someone in The Owl House that doesn't need Therapy.

Based on episode 8, Hooty seems to have self-worth issues. He literally wanted to tear himself out of the house because he thought he was messing things up and making the others unhappy. I'd say Hooty needs therapy.

Eda's cruse reminds me of a boyfriend I had, who has slight bipolarity
A couples of times he said he didn't want to live, said things he shouldn't say, etc; but still he was very kind and lovely. I couldn't be mad at him because it wasn't his fault, but I couldn't handle it anymore. And even that I had 100 reasons to break up, I still felt guilty because I felt like nothing was his fault. I still wish he is OK.

its outstanding on how edalyn's life is literally a living hell only because lilith's envy took all in of her to make a lifetime curse, and still managed to forgive her.
· the curse is why eda and her father do not contact or make connections anymore and she accepts the truth that she doesn't need his forgiveness because its the curse's fault, not hers.
· her mother made her think that her curse is something to be ashamed of, resulting to edalyn hiding the truth from raine breaking their relationship and probably many others

Eda and Raines whole relationship deserves a series, It's obvious Raine still loved Eda even though they broke up with her, they never moved on and "saw other people" They just didn't trust Eda cause she was cagey about her curse.
I wanna see that whole story! If the series wasn't cut short we'd probably get more Eda/Raine centric episodes.

(My opinion on eda's kids) Just because eda's "kids" wanna return to there actual family doesn't mean she needs therapy she just didn't know how to take it because she's never really considered anyone her kid that she's loved so much I mean no one liked her because of her curse and because she was considered a criminal so when luz and king stuck around it meant a lot to her so yeah of course it's gonna hit hard if they where go leave

Eda had her blame misplaced on the Owl Beast. Lilith caused the most trauma in the show. She doesn't need therapy at all, she needs to be punished.
I think she already has her punishment. She lost her job, obtained a curse (which she seemed pretty traumatized from when she first turned into the Owl Beast), and lost her magic. And still, Eda forgives her sister, and I have a feeling she will continue loving her.
She probably would've been if Disney didn't cancel them

Lilith does need therapy. Traumatized people sometimes end up hurting others. I agree that Lilith's actions were intense and hurtful, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have any issues. She needs healing as well as a good redemption arc. She already got some punishment, like the first reply said.

I mean I get that but I think that’s a bit harsh. Lilith at first was a kid, kids make a lot of stupid decisions and plus she thought it was only going to last a day. She also apologized to Eda and split Eda’s curse with her. The point with her character is to have flaws to be realistic and that’s just what the owl house did.
