    This tutorial is called the Crochet Granny Circle. Also known as The Mandala. The Crochet Granny Circle can be used for many items. Such as blankets, doilies, round pillow covers and even floor mats.

    Thanks so much to explain so nice and clear and showing slowly , usually I have a hard time to follow cause I m new to crochet. I was able to follow and pause a couple of time and back up a bit to make sure I understood. Now I’ll take a break and do part two

    Hi I just found this looking through your videos, delighted as. I was looking at all the yarn I have as we are stuck in here in Ireland my goodness I didn't realise I'd so much yarn so this pattern is ideal I am going to make it bigger like a blanket for a.     It's got to be cotton yarn 😊 that your using I'm still in the learning process of crochet Not even woll yarn can give that beautiful detail As soon as I'm ready with enough practice I will definitely try the cotton

    If using a thicker or variegated thickness yarn, would you need to go up a hook size? Mine is a bit wavy. (I’m using Noro yarn)

      Be careful about the amount of stitches you place in each round. Make sure you check your count at the end of each round. Plus practice and tension are the key to a gorgeous round.

    What type of Cotton are you using? What type is best for this Blanket? Will 100% Cotton 4 ply work? Is that a dk 3 wt that you're using?

      Depending where you a from. In Australia it is an 8ply cotton. I'm assuming it would be a 4ply if you are from USA. But it doesn't hurt to use a thicker cotton. You can also make this on wool. Use any ply really

    thankyou for showing us this pattern, but I found your stop start style very frustrating to watch, and fluffing about with the yarn is annoying. Sorry but that's how I found it.

      I am assuming you are asking what the diameter of the circle is... it's 30cm or roughly 12 inches. However there is a tutorial coming up on how to make the granny Circle/Mandala bigger. Stay tuned 😊

    Jeez that was made to seem so much more complicated than it needed to be, this tutorial made a granny circle sound harder to do than something advanced like crocheting braided cable stitches, :( I say not beginner friendly tutorial lol
