ROW 11 Onward: just join the regular way when you reach the end of the row. It doesn't matter if it ends on an increase or not - just join as it is. Each increase round will end a bit differently - sometimes with an increase into the last space, sometimes not. It won't make a difference - just join when you reach the end of the round.

@The Secret Yarnery on round 11, should the increases work out evenly? I’m one space off from a multiple of 3. Haggling and counting back through each row and I know they work out until row 11. Row l0 math works out to 32 sts, and is not evenly divisible by 3. (Edited much later) On the video, yours does work out to be 11 increases - to make the math work out evenly on row 11, I added one increase ( I.e. an extra shell + ch1 at the end of round 9). This was required to make the math work out evenly on row 11.
It would be great to have the ch 1 spaces counted every round. I Wouldn’t be so grumpy but I frogged it and redid it!!!
I'm having the exact same issue. been pulling my hair out trying to figure it out. what did you do to make the stitches add up? add an extra shell in round 11?
samface182 - Hello. I added a single increase in row 9 to get the increase s to work evenly in row 11. From there mostly I worked out the math by looking ahead in the video. Christa warns of the increases not working out evenly later in the pattern. It looks fine, but as I kept up with the number of sts , if I knew the increases would not work out evenly, I added the needed increases evenly, one or two rows before so the increases on the inc. row works out perfectly.

melody maben I don’t think Christa has updated the video to account for the unevenincreases early in the pattern.
I think it's awful that I've paid money for a pattern that has clearly never been tested. No stitch count . No explanation for the creators mistakes. In order to create a perfect circle in crochet, there needs to be even increases throughout.
The creator should have taken the time to ensure her pattern actually worked properly before listing it online for people to pay real money for it. I'm so disappointed

How do you know when to increase and the pattern of increase to use! What if I wanted to keep going and not make a baby blanket but an adult round blanket?
Did you ever figure it out? I started this before I realized it was a baby blanket 😅 I’m on round 15 and I don’t wanna take it apart lol
When it starts curling on the edge, finish the round and increase on the next round.

Hi Christa, I am from India and I love the blanket I want to make it for my kids but only problem that in India we don't have good quality yarn if have then too costly. I’ve restarted twice and by row 11 it doesn’t end with an increase at the end of the row and I can’t for the life of me figure out why

I am doing this blanket at least one year after you ladies. I think this 11 should have started with an increase. At the end I have 4 shelf together. Something is wrong. I'll frog 11 and start with an increase.
ROW 11 Onward: just join the regular way when you reach the end of the row. It doesn't matter if it ends on an increase or not - just join as it is. Each increase round will end a bit differently - sometimes with an increase into the last space, sometimes not. It won't make a difference - just join when you reach the end of the round.
@@jeanettefrederikkenygaard4181 I cannot for the life of me even remember what I did 😅 I’m sure I just winged it and kept it moving. I haven’t crocheted since this blanket. It turned out just fine and my best friend and her baby loved it 🥰
