The most disturbing part of this video was for me, the fact that I never heard about this incident before Rammstein made a song about it. I am from Austria which is located right next to Hungary, and yet I never heard anything about this incident. It was only because of this song I researched deeper into the subject and found out that the song was about an incident that actually happened. The media nowadays has so much power about what we know and what we do not know. It is very frightening.

Well... I knew it would be very disturbing for you, but that was ment to be disturbing. One of the things I love about Rammstein is that they speak truth and speak it in a way to feel like punch to your face. And you just discovered Rammstein that speaks about real events! Those songs hit a bit different than the rest of their songs. (I am patiently waiting for "Wiener Blut"...)
I am really sorry that you, Dominica, became too upset, but I understand you and I felt the same way when I watched this video for the first time. I really have hard time watching animals being hurt in any way, but Educatedmarine did a great job here, I think, because to most people it really has to be graphic to understand certain message and he just followed what Rammstein wanted to say. And raising awareness is exactly what they wanted, just like with most of their songs.
But now forget about the video, play the song without it and you will realize how beautiful it is. 🖤

Ya’ll should check out the piano versions of these songs. They did a bunch of their songs again with just piano and its beautiful. Donaukinder is my favorite one.

Rammstein got this wonderfull Talent to let you feel guilty and good the same time. You feel good because yasou enjoy the song and guilty because if you know the meaning behind it you feel guilty for enjoing the song

An Australian company was called in by Romanian Government to clean up the old mine run by a Romanian company. They made a dam to contain contaminated waste material. The dam burst with excessive snow fall and spilled into river ways.

This song is HUGE and epic. It was the favourite track of several of the band members on the LIFAD album, but it was bumped off the Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da album to just be a bonus song on the deluxe version as it didnt fit the albums theme of different kinds of love

I grew up in Baia Mare, I was 7 yo when the incident happened, I only have faint memories of people on the riverbank before it... I left the city about 5 years ago and the water was still brown... it will take decades to recover - a product of corruption and greed.

Rammstein is so much more than a metal band ...
I was 14 years old when it happened. To this day, I clearly remember the moment when I heard on TV:
The Tisza river is dead (the length of the river is 996 km)
it was very sad.
I mean, nature survives everything and the dead Tisza also came to life
The text tells a moving story of children who grew up in the shadow of war and destruction in a world permeated with tears and pain.
The song begins with a description of a peaceful environment: "The snakes wind around / Our beautiful garden." It's a disturbing video, so I blocked it out I hate stuff where wildlife and animals suffer. I know how you feel it makes me upset too. You are a happy couple almost like newly weds it's nice to see, nice honest reaction as usual.
you say you hope this things aren't gonna happen anywhere in the world. Unfortunately it happened a lot of times already. I feel it's not that often anymore but it still happens. And it's almost always a big international company in a poor "third world" country and it's always greed and sometimes incompetence in the play. I don't know if it ever will change, the rich will always exploit the poor so they can get richer.

This event was one of the worst doings of humanity out of war. It's hard not to cry.
For the translation, this is the best one you can get, except ua-cam.com/users/Bucksttabu did it as well. All others have a lot of mistakes, even in the German language for some odd reason. I only wished myself, that the creator of this one, would have taken other video-clips, because I am the same as Domenica (I hope I wrote it right). Unfortunately there are too less people in the world like us and see People like Domenica and me as "too sensitive". Well I could say, others might be "too rude" and not thinking about others.
