I love this bag, I just wish it was a bit bigger.

Hi hi :) I have a question abt the bag.. If you didn't want to have it textured, you just continue to sc untill the handles?

You could do that. If you do sc, you'll have to do about double the amount of rows. I think that would be really cute. The hardest thing will be to make sure your handles are centered. You'll want to lay the bag flat and eyeball that. The counts for rnd 38 won't work if you do sc for the body of the bag, but you could still make it work. I do this in my other market bag video: ua-cam.com/video/y4BgdKbQaO8/v-deo.html

I don't understand 17:04 or before you said to double crochet but after you started FPTR. I have started this bag over and over. I am not sure what to do.

Hi Laurie! At 17:04 you are on Rnd 17. Rnd 17 is dc all the way around. After you finish that dc rnd, you join with a slip stitch, chain 2 and you're now starting Rnd 18. Rnd 18 starts with a FPtr around the post of the first double crochet of Rnd 17. Then you double crochet into the top of the second double crochet of Rnd 17. Etc...
      Does that help?
