I would feel very pleased to receive one of these from a friend. Adding the saying along with the edging really added the perfect touch. They are lovely I find that lettering always looks so nice when it has an offset in another colour

It turned out perfect. Since you were putting the quotes on them anyway. You have a nice effect for the frame. And your quotes are not covering anything. Yes it is perfect. 😊🤗❤
These are not “fails” because they were elegant before the sayings were added. Light is “fresh” and “clean” and many people like neutral products. But the sayings make these really cute. You may be disappointed, however your work is very, very good.
I agree, I don’t think they are fails, I actually loved the effects and how they stayed around the edges. I think Artist get used to certain ways and when this happens, they think it’s disappointing. But sometimes I like subtle outcomes. Love the phrases added.
