Is there much line twist. I like the the idea of the smooth but I don’t like my lime twisting up with your short I use a swivel and no twist.

If the line is installed correctly there are no line twists.

Nice tips. I have an 11ft 6wt switch rod, would a 300 grain commando head with 40lb lazer line be good for swinging steelhead?

Is the diameter of the running line the same as the 150-300 grain commando smooth lines?

Nope it's a little thicker to accommodate larger species
