I made this recipe tonight and it was so good! It makes 4 portions and I plan to freeze two portions for another dinner, but I really want to eat it all now!! 😂
This looks amazing! I love simile and fragrant recipes, and this Thai meatball idea works so well, especially for a person with dairy concerns. thank you!❤🙏🌺
You can make chicken mince yourself! Grab boneless chicken thighs or breast and put it in a food processor! Or, you can take a blade and chop it over and over until you have a mince. I make mine at home because I can control the amount of fat.
Hi - I have a non ‘feather eater’….. I plan to swap out for minced pork? Also no fresh coriander is eaten in our house. I’ll sub a bit of dried and fresh parsley. I can’t imagine that this adjustment will fail the …. Sal does KS again… and again and again and I’m no cook trust me. Your ideas always work. Many thanks and Merry Christmas.
So many of Nikki's recipes call for lemongrass paste but I can never find it in any supermarkets near me. I still make the dishes as the recipes are always reliably great but I do feel I'm missing out a little.
@@baggy79 I get my groceries delivered by Sainsbury's every week. I keep searching for it in their app but it's never there. Perhaps I need to actually visit the store.
Hi Niki , could the meatballs be simmered in the sauce rather than pan fried ?. I followed your video but I found that the meatballs were very dry and crumbly before the sauce was added .
And Nik ignore the idiots who say what’s wrong… they simply need to concoct their own recipes…. We all adjust things to our liking, as my family says ‘did you taste it’? Me ‘no you can add salt but you can’t take it away.’ 😂😂😂 A suggestion - have a go at West Indian curries etc. I make them from time to time, recipes passed down by friends Grannies. ✔
All recipes get adjusted as some ingredients are more than hard to find in various countries. Point taken but my fav Thai restaurants in the UK defo use ginger..
That egg yolk is exceptionally beautiful!!!
I suspect that egg yolk is a Burford Brown..?

Check the fresh vegetable and fruit section Gourmet Garden brand stocks squeeze tubes in Woolworths and Coles here in Aus.
Sainsbury's do it if you're in the UK 🇬🇧

I would need to substitute either double cream or condensed milk for the coconut milk due to my coconut/nut allergies.

Surely by time you've rolled the last of those 20 meatballs the first few have already been cooking for a few minutes!
Absolutely delicious meal. Just made and devoured this fabulous food. Wow, just wow.
Should have used palm sugar and coconut oil.sesame oil is only for fried rice
Sub-titles are helpful.
Yummo
🎉🫠😇💘💝💖😍🤩
Just a reminder, Thais don't use ginger or sesame oil. Use galangal instead of ginger or simply omit.
Thai people definitely use ginger

CRICKEY !!!! xx
Could you air fry the meat balls how about some veg
Aaaand... let me just tilt my head to one side as I talk to you 😂
Hope she washed her hands. YUK
Thai Meatball? There's no such thing.
She said Thai inspired, it wasn't a Thai recipe
Hi Nikki,,,I do not have a comment on this dish.
Didn't really dig those much.. not enough flavour. The Chinese Curry Meatballs are loads better
Yummy 😋 😋
