  • I feel like every UA-cam Knife Maker has to do a Skeleton build so here's my entry lol. This was a concept I've had for a while and wasn't sure it would work. I stumbled across the clear Kydex and gave it a try. Let me know what you think!
Note to self - Don't use thin plastic as a resin mold. As the resin cures, it heats up and apparently gets hot enough to warp the plastic. Was able to salvage a comfy handle though. Any ideas on what disposable materials I can use to make one-off molds?
If you have any interesting knife build ideas you'd like to see let me know in the comments. I'll pick my favorite!

    Welcome to my channel
I am a weekend warrior knife maker diving headfirst into this amazing craft. Join me as I create one-of-a-kind knives, restore old and forgotten tools, and share fast-paced build videos of my newly acquired skills.
My goal is to entertain, educate, and share the specific steps I take to create something. I'm by no means an expert and I don't use fancy grinders or heat treat ovens but, with enough time and effort, I think anyone can make awesome functional knives.

I'm sceptical of the structural integrity of the blade.

Thanks! It's an Alec Steele 2x48 grinder. I got this one secondhand but they restock them on his website every so often. Awesome machine!
