The extra weird cabinet near the bathroom is a “garden tub”. You put lots of ferns a greens on it and sit in your jetted tub and pretend your in Hawaii. 🪴🪴🪴 That’s what I have seen before in the ones I sold. 🌺🌺🌺

I feel you need someone to sit and talk to weekly regarding all your stress, anxiety and responsibilities. And… I wish I was a friend who could come in, take care of things and let you rest. Someone needs to help you. I’m amazed at how well you have done during this long period of illness. If you can think of a time you really enjoyed--think of specific details about what you did and what you’d do today if you were there-just a few minutes a day-it might help a tiny bit.every day. Should eventually start helping you. Sounds simplistic but it can work.
My mom is flying in tomorrow. I have a wonderful psychologist who I've needed to cancel twice due to my not being able to get there recently. But I'll get there again. 😊
Don’t discount what you have gone through, yourself. I hate that you both have had to go through so much horrible pain. I’m so hopeful that Bare will be much better soon, you’ll be walking freely and comfortably and he’ll be busy enjoying his life with you!! May God bless you.

I've been waiting for this video!!!! Love, love, love your new home!!! But not loving your broken foot. So glad you are getting home health help. The main thing is honestly just having someone come in to check on you. It was helpful for me to have the hospice nurse coming even if she just looked my dad over.
Someone else said plants which I think make sense. I cannot see sitting in the tub and needing to light candles that far away but flowers/ plants make sense. (I'm so not a plant person that my brain would never think to own a plant😂)

Oh wow! TWO!!! I cannot even think of how awful that should be Kathleen. My orthopedic surgeon gave me crutches but I'm too clumsy to figure them out. Haha! So I'm now using the walker. How are you doing it girl?!?

Well here we are almost 4 months later and I just watched your current video. Some things are still on going, but some are done and gone. You have come through the the worst of most of it. You are alive and breathing and you look wonderful! I'm so sorry you had to go through this. But most of all I'm so sorry you had to see Bear in so much pain. The steps in that bathroom would be perfect for plants, especially with the window. My mother had a garden tub and had room for a fern, which is perfect with the humidity normally in a bathroom.

I am truly sorry you understand that level of pain Cynthia! Ready for my stupid suggestion? (Because we both know people suggest random things that we have absolutely tried and won't work.) Magnesium spray. It is like $8 a container on Amazon. Does it help with the severe pain? NOPE! Not even a bit. But does it somehow vaguely maybe work like 10%? Maybe. Bare even likes it and made me buy more. It is suppose to relax muscles and promote sleep. I'm truly not offended if you skip it. Haha. I spray that sucker on my back, arms, bottoms of feet, etc.
@freshbloominclothing OH Melissa! Thank you so much for this suggestion! I haven't been told about the magnesium before. I will happily try most anything at this point! You are so sweet to tell me about this spray. I have learned to deal with these problems but now have another that has swayed my pain level over the 10 mark when I am on my feet more then 30 minutes. I have metatarsal collapsed arch along with plantar fasciitis. It took a year to get this bad. I feel like I walk on big hot rocks that is actually nerve pain that now triggers the CRPS so I'm very grateful that you are so kind to let me know about this magnesium spray🌷since this new stuff really limits my time on my feet because of the pain. I'm praying for you and bare too.❤️ The last 3 months I have also been caring as much as possible for my husband Larry who (when I was in CA to see my mom, we live in VA)was admitted to hospital for 5 days with abdominal pain, and a small heart attack. I flew home. He had contracted a bad case of lyme disease with alpha gal from a tick. As well as is going to be having tests to check his pancreas and stomach. His pancreas in a CT scan is showing something on the end and a swollen node. Also had a infection in stomach and diverticulitis which he is now seeing specialists and scheduling tests. We've changed his diet completely because he can't have any meat except chicken & fish or dairy for now due to the alpha gal so I fix meals in a new way. Hes lost 22 Ibs the last 2 months. But his heart is ok now. I hope you dont mind me asking for prayers too when you pray. I know God never gives us more then He enables us to do but prayers are wonderful. It's amazing how quickly so much in your life can change, but nothing surprises God. Thank you for taking the time to give me a helpful suggestion, especially when you have so much going on. I'm sorry you had to go thru that, I will tell from my own experience you need to always do your own research. I noticed the doctors and nurses have been thru a lot with covid. Some of the medical community have become less caring and more about their policies and procedures. My sister died during that time she was only 60 years old. Believe me I understand your pain and frustration. Listening to you its like they didn't believe he was in pain.
😮 i totally know that floor plan. I sold mobile homes for a few years. It is the best! Enjoy the space and take your time making it your own. PS The furniture is perfect. 🎉
How fun! We have EVERY booklet from the home, all the original notes, samples of the countertop and paneling, invoices from the original owner, and every owners manual from every appliance. 😮 I just showed my mom and she was amazed. I'm so glad they kept it all and we will too. We have the 1987 Dutch Manor with the "Rose Package". 😂

I have insurance so I didn't receive any bills. I think my copay was $5 but that isn't worth fighting them honestly. I'm not thrilled about it, as I was walking on a fully broken foot without any stability but it is healing really well now.
Right? I would love to know what the bathroom designer was thinking with so much wide open...steps/space that you can do nothing with. One person suggested plants which makes sense. Except I detest bugs and tend to forget plants exist until they die. Haha!

There were a few reasons we moved but mostly it was due to our last home being able to be sold at such a high price. It was closer to the beach and the traffic was getting really bad. We moved a few miles inland. Still not a bad drive to the beach (under 45 minutes) and we got more bang for our buck. We lived there 7 years and loved it but also ADORE this community. Plus it is like living in a 1980s TV show, which both my husband and I loved. 😅
We live in satellite beach florida. The health system has gone from atrocious to… I don’t know, what’s ten times worse than atrocious? You only hear horror stories anymore. I had to take my husband for some procedures I cried everyday. I have never experienced such greed (painful unnecessary procedures) and incompetence. It saddens me and I honestly have lost all hope in humanity. Thank goodness I was there to advocate for my husband, I don’t know what elderly people do if they have no one around. I’m so so sorry you had to go through all that fingers crossed your husband feels better soon. Two years of stomach pain sounds unbearable!
Oh Julie. I am so sorry your husband (and you!) went through that. And I agree about those that don't have an advocate there. There was only one time out of 4 we even had a room in the ER. The rest of the time he was on a bed in the hallway and so many patients were waiting 6+ hours to even see a doctor or even get a CT. I agree with the system being awful and know so many health care employees are overworked and underpaid for all they do. I have a friend visiting from the Netherlands right now and she was shocked at the healthcare system here. I hope your husband is on the way to recovery if he isn't already there.
I bet you can't use stairs because they are afraid someone will fall or pass out or be sick in the stairway and not be found right away. Just my guess. Get well soon to you both!! Side note, Immediate Care also got my break wrong. Kinda scary.

You may want to consider a handicap regulation toilet. I have multiple autoimmune diseases, and height difference assist considerably. I conceded to allowing my husband to make modifications to our bathroom for safety and maintaining some sense of independence.
Thanks! We replaced both of the original toilets with the tallest height elongated toilets we could find. My husband is 6'6" and I, as you might know, struggle with some mobility. Thankfully the toilet I use most is directly between a solid counter and wall that I can put a bar on. :)

Oh noooo. I'm so sorry! I just read that it takes 8+ weeks to recover. And then someone in a comment thread said "I have no pain and am doing great" after others were saying how bad it was and how slowly they were healing. I detest that fast healing person who isn't in any pain in behalf of all of us right now. 😂 I hope you are able to eventually find one comfortable position that allows your body to get some rest. ❤

We need to check to see if the support is okay to hold it but it does work. We also need new flooring in this room so it is on the bottom of the list right now. But, we do plan on keeping it. Neither Bare nor I like baths at all. But you are right. We will keep it just in case we ever sell it. We have a outdoor hot tub in the community :)
I guess the “body builder” is probably just a description of her physically. The home health nurse is great for older people who don’t have a huge support system and to make sure they don’t need to go back to the hospital. Another person to chat with.

@freshbloominclothing OH Melissa! Thank you so much for this suggestion! I haven't been told about the magnesium before. I will happily try most anything at this point! You are so sweet to tell me about this spray. I have learned to deal with these problems but now have another that has swayed my pain level over the 10 mark when I am on my feet more then 30 minutes. I have metatarsal collapsed arch along with plantar fasciitis. It took a year to get this bad. I feel like I walk on big hot rocks that is actually nerve pain that now triggers the CRPS so I'm very grateful that you are so kind to let me know about this magnesium spray🌷since this new stuff really limits my time on my feet because of the pain. I'm praying for you and bare too.❤️ The last 3 months I have also been caring as much as possible for my husband Larry who (when I was in CA to see my mom, we live in VA)was admitted to hospital for 5 days with abdominal pain, and a small heart attack. I flew home. He had contracted a bad case of lyme disease with alpha gal from a tick. As well as is going to be having tests to check his pancreas and stomach. His pancreas in a CT scan is showing something on the end and a swollen node. Also had a infection in stomach and diverticulitis which he is now seeing specialists and scheduling tests. We've changed his diet completely because he can't have any meat except chicken & fish or dairy for now due to the alpha gal so I fix meals in a new way. Hes lost 22 Ibs the last 2 months. But his heart is ok now. I hope you dont mind me asking for prayers too when you pray. I know God never gives us more then He enables us to do but prayers are wonderful. It's amazing how quickly so much in your life can change, but nothing surprises God. Thank you for taking the time to give me a helpful suggestion, especially when you have so much going on. I'm sorry you had to go thru that, I will tell from my own experience you need to always do your own research. I noticed the doctors and nurses have been thru a lot with covid. Some of the medical community have become less caring and more about their policies and procedures. My sister died during that time she was only 60 years old. Believe me I understand your pain and frustration. Listening to you its like they didn't believe he was in pain.

How fun! We have EVERY booklet from the home, all the original notes, samples of the countertop and paneling, invoices from the original owner, and every owners manual from every appliance. 😮 I just showed my mom and she was amazed. I'm so glad they kept it all and we will too.

I have insurance so I didn't receive any bills. I think my copay was $5 but that isn't worth fighting them honestly. I'm not thrilled about it, as I was walking on a fully broken foot without any stability but it is healing really well now.

There were a few reasons we moved but mostly it was due to our last home being able to be sold at such a high price. It was closer to the beach and the traffic was getting really bad. We moved a few miles inland. Still not a bad drive to the beach (under 45 minutes) and we got more bang for our buck. We lived there 7 years and loved it but also ADORE this community. Plus it is like living in a 1980s TV show, which both my husband and I loved. 😅
We live in satellite beach florida. The health system has gone from atrocious to… I don’t know, what’s ten times worse than atrocious? You only hear horror stories anymore. I had to take my husband for some procedures I cried everyday. I have never experienced such greed (painful unnecessary procedures) and incompetence. It saddens me and I honestly have lost all hope in humanity. Thank goodness I was there to advocate for my husband, I don’t know what elderly people do if they have no one around. I’m so so sorry you had to go through all that fingers crossed your husband feels better soon. Two years of stomach pain sounds unbearable!
Oh Julie. I am so sorry your husband (and you!) went through that. And I agree about those that don't have an advocate there. There was only one time out of 4 we even had a room in the ER. The rest of the time he was on a bed in the hallway and so many patients were waiting 6+ hours to even see a doctor or even get a CT. I agree with the system being awful and know so many health care employees are overworked and underpaid for all they do. I have a friend visiting from the Netherlands right now and she was shocked at the healthcare system here.
I hope your husband is on the way to recovery if he isn't already there.

I bet you can't use stairs because they are afraid someone will fall or pass out or be sick in the stairway and not be found right away. Just my guess. Get well soon to you both!! Side note, Immediate Care also got my break wrong. Kinda scary.
I'm allowed to use stairs very slowly. I'm doing pretty well balancing and my break was truly a fluke thing. ❤

I'm guessing you are good at shopping, listing, etc. Without knowing anything else about you, I would add more key works to your title, try to raise and then lower your prices, use coupons and newsletters (under the marketing section of Ebay), and check your traffic reports.

You may want to consider a handicap regulation toilet. I have multiple autoimmune diseases, and height difference assist considerably. I conceded to allowing my husband to make modifications to our bathroom for safety and maintaining some sense of independence.
Thanks! We replaced both of the original toilets with the tallest height elongated toilets we could find. My husband is 6'6" and I, as you might know, struggle with some mobility. Thankfully the toilet I use most is directly between a solid counter and wall that I can put a bar on. :)

Oh noooo. I'm so sorry! I just read that it takes 8+ weeks to recover. And then someone in a comment thread said "I have no pain and am doing great" after others were saying how bad it was and how slowly they were healing. I detest that fast healing person who isn't in any pain in behalf of all of us right now. 😂
I hope you are able to eventually find one comfortable position that allows your body to get some rest. ❤

We need to check to see if the support is okay to hold it but it does work. We also need new flooring in this room so it is on the bottom of the list right now. But, we do plan on keeping it. Neither Bare nor I like baths at all. But you are right. We will keep it just in case we ever sell it. We have a outdoor hot tub in the community :)

I guess the “body builder” is probably just a description of her physically. The home health nurse is great for older people who don’t have a huge support system and to make sure they don’t need to go back to the hospital. Another person to chat with.
