Hi Mellissa…I had a hysterectomy when I was 39 because of endometriosis and really it was like a miracle not to have pain anymore. I did take hormone replacement therapy which helped with mood and hot flashes. I wish you well if this is the route you take. Thanks for sharing your journey. Take care both you and Bare.

2:10:39 Melissa, OMG! My friend and I went to the House of Horrors in Parrish a few weeks ago when we were out thrifting. I usually spend 1 to 2 hours, sometimes longer in every thrift store. I was in that store for 15 minutes and I said to my friend I have to get out of here. There were four people in one room and I couldn't move, not to mention it was about 2037 degrees in that store. Never again! I'm with you, Hearts 4 Heroes , supports a great cause, and is a lovely store. The volunteers there are wonderful. Thanks for a great video and it was nice to see Bare.
Pretty sure the sea foam silicone mats are spoon holders and utensil holders to protect your stove or counter. Just saw the small one in a store yesterday.

Hi Mellissa & Bare great finds and great to see you both again. I know you love wood from your Mom, Mellissa LOL. I love your water fountain and the color your house is a gorgeous cheerful color. Mellissa, since your Mom is coming for a visit soon--why don't you take Mom to the Bins and do a video--I think that would be fun to watch!! On the rugs-are you afraid that they would come with tiny bugs imbedded into the rugs, which could get all over your home??? I know I would stay clear of rugs because of that LOL. Look forward to future videos with you.
Roger & my mom are coming down to the middle of the state. Bare and I will drive out to where they are staying but it is about a 2 hour drive.
I am always afraid of any bugs. I worked/managed retirement communities and my brain remembers way too much about bed bugs and most species of invasive bugs. We kept the rugs outside for a night, then in the workshop. They were cleaned with hot water and steam. And, with anything I sell, I put that I did clean it.

Melissa, you have been in my heart. I have CRPS too, I just had my spinal cord stimulator replaced and unfortunately it’s not working as well as my older model. When I’m in terrible pain it somehow comforts me that someone else I “know” has this disease as well. Trying to explain it to people isn’t easy. They look at me like I’m nuts.

That Turkey toy thing is a snuffle mat. You put treats or kibble inside the little pieces and it keeps your dog busy. I suppose you could call it an enrichment toy ❤️

Well, I'm loving this video with both of you feeling better - so much fun to watch. I live in Tyler, Texas and we had totality with the Solar Eclipse at around 1:43 pm, but unfortunately the skies were covered with clouds so it was a bust...it did get dark, but just looked like we were having a storm - and then about thirty minutes later it was all blue skies and sunshine. I'm sure there are a lot of visitors to our city who are disappointed.
That is SUCH a bummer Sara! We saw about 50% but that is nothing compared to seeing it completely covered of course.

Oh, Melissa! You are so right! I have some health issues, and am confident that someday soon I will be better and will be able to do all these great projects... I now have so much crap for projects I may never be able to do. I will keep positive thoughts, but had to stop the impulsive purchases. LOL! My Bins is too scary. Went once. Very aggressive people and almost no supervision😡. They had the Go command and people ran like maniacs 😮 Then they threw stuff around seperating shoes rupperbanded together etc. 😢. You who fight through it are braver than me 💕

What I got from Mellissa's memory of the house thrift store would probably be how a blind/unsighted person would recall...by relying on the other senses. Interesting that it was based/recalled on emotions.
Loved the big rugs. The bins in my city don't discount if you buy over a certain weight. Nor do they discount heavy blankets, pillows, or rugs unfortunately (they're $1.79 ib), so pretty much the heavier stuff just goes to the landfill. Rarely does glass items even make it to the floor anymore, etc... Poorly ran, since the bins idea was to get as much money from donations as they can.

One of our favorite Goodwill stores is on Honore Ave. in Sarasota!! We used to drive up from Ft. Myers on a regular basis to find great deals!

Interesting. During C-vid, our bins stopped rotating and never went back to rotations. They say that rotating was too dangerous. And the hours are 10am to 1pm and 3pm to 6pm. Thanks for sharing. #SheisMonaLisa314
