I remember that a some point, every enemy started to attack with multiple characters, no matter what. It was like the AI of enemies at some point became tired of you. The golden age of PC gaming. 90s never forgotten.
nostalgia overdose.. the game is actually broken af... only good thing about homm2 is visuals... artstyle is good and timeless if homm3 would look like homm2 , would be eternal game lol ... not that homm3 isnt.. i think because of HotA.. people will still play homm3 after 5.10,15 years.. in disco server i see all the time people, who are just 13-15 year old kids.. literally like a generational thing, fathers teaching their sons homm... :D weird af

Suggest just to speed Up the movement in combat 😆 Game of my early years of gaming… I love to play this game any time and the 3D Heroes as are made in presence pretty sucks…
There's the open source recreation fheroes2 that I believe has an Android port. Or you can install DOSBox on Android and play the original DOS version.

archibald is actually a much harder start because you need to wait a long time before you get ranged units.
The athmosphere created by sound and grafics in this game is unmatched. One of the greatest masterpieces of computer games.

I know this sounds super obvious, but never having played homm 2, it feels like an exact mixture of homm 1 and 3 xD it's a perfect continuum.

The Iron Golem/Steel Golem is a waste of gold. It can do very little in battles. The hero is very good without the golems.
