well, to be honest the whole scene feels very "up to interpretation" i suppose. my answer would be that gangle finally has let go of this "normal" mask she held so dear, as her intentions throughout the entire episode was to recreate what she considered "normal". Thing is, i feel as if the meaning of this is that Gangle struggled to accept that, deep down, she was never cut out for what's "normal", neither now nor when she was human. Gangle's personality doesn't fit with what's required out of this job, and she couldn't accept that out of desperation to live a "normal" life. That's why she throws the mask at the end. She's not cut out for an everyday job, her passion has always been art. And no matter how hard she tried, reality embedded deep in her mind that her dreams would never be real. But she *doesn't* need to be "normal" anymore. It doesn't matter. What was once reality isn't anymore. I guess this scene was like a moment of realization that Gangle doesn't need an unbreakable mask anymore. (the mask being a facade that hid her dreams and personality). She was so overwhelmed by not having to fake being "normal" anymore that she runs towards the light, twirls and (sadly) trips onto the street. My ideas could go well alongside the theories that Gangle is actually depressed, but besides that, this is just my interpretation ^^
Didn’t expect that😂

oh sorry my reply ended up being long as heck
my idea of the scene is her wanting to give up living the life she did and attempt to live her dreams, but life hit her like a 'truck'
