Hi everyone! I just wanted to say that the purpose of this video was not to offer up these plants to my friends on the internet. If I do end up giving them away, it would be to local friends first. Love you guys! Sorry for the confusion. ❤️
LOL I had a feeling a lot of people would offer to 'adopt' your castaways, esp after you said you'd throw them away. I felt a stabbing pain. I haven't fallen out of love w/any of my plants that are still living. I only get discouraged when the die so I can't relate.
I think falling out of love with plants it’s totally normal. I tend to like the plants that like me the most. No matter how gorgeous a plant looks on Instagram, if it looks like crap in my home, meh. I’m looking at you Calatheas!
My calathea nearly went ‘bald’ then I got so irritated from babying it I just put it in a self-watering pot and it seems to have mostly recovered. Sometimes ignoring it works too.
They certainly do seem to sense upcoming danger and act accordingly 😁 I have thrown tantrums a few times and threatened lazy plants. Lo and behold, a couple days later I spot peduncles 😏
"I did not do my research about it before I bought it, I just saw a pretty plant I a got it." Ohhh Becca those are some true lines and rhimes, I can relate to. 😁
You should do a full episode of plants you love but ones that catfished you from their web pic to when you got them and do a side by side picture slideshow of how they duped you.
“I’m so sorry that happened to you sir” 😂 You a better plant parent than I! If a plant was on my “I don’t like you” list and I discovered it had spider mites that would be its ticket to the garbage can! 😂
I have sold SO many plants via FB marketplace, like at least 30. If it doesn’t spark joy, I list it on there and usually gone within the first day or two. It allows me to sell it without having to neglect it.
Sorry about replying one year later lol, but I’ve been looking at listing some of mine on fb. I don’t know how much to list them for. Do I list it as the same price I bought it for?
@@baileyfleming1604 Yes, so you can get your money back. But sometimes you won't be able to get the exact amount you paid for. For example, if you got a raven zz 5 years ago when it was harder to get you could have easily paid $100 but now that their easily available you'd get $20-30 if you're selling it. Size matters too.
I bought an never never plant at Lowe’s. Well it didn’t take long to fall out of love with it. Last week I tossed it on the deck and said good luck. Either live or die. I just couldn’t figure out what it wanted. Well seems like it just needed more sun because now it’s happy but I’m still bitter
Oh the Zebra plant! I had wanted that one for years and I found one at Home Depot. I was so excited the plant was beautiful, but it started slowly loosing leaves. I did more research, rearranged some things, started bottom watering. Started to have a little success... but then it started continuing to lose leaves and the branches shriveled up and it died. I was very disappointed because I wanted that plant for so long and it just hated me
Ohhh mine hated me too but I kept trying cos it was given to me by a friend. Then one day I'd had enough of looking at its sad, leggy bod and I took the top off to try and propagate it but that ended up dying ofc. BUT some baby leaves ended up popping up at the leafless stem and long story short, I have a baby zebra plant now
I have so many plants that I have had ever since I started collecting when I was 14 that I just don’t like anymore. Some of them look a little rough, especially the stretched out cacti, so I give them to my little sister when I need more space or can’t deal with them any more.
I have about 7 different types of calatheas and I’m so sorry I bought them. I got carried away with it’s beautiful leaves. Paid a lot of money, bought them from Etsy. I did some reading on how to take care of them but to no success. All my cactuses, philodendron, etc are flourishing and beautiful but no such luck with Calatheas. I’m beginning to really dislike them🤬.
calatheas are such little bitches I'm glad I bought the ones I have because they're so beautiful but sometimes I'm like "wow is this really worth it" haha
Yeah I stay away from Etsy...and calatheas. No offense to any sellers out there but the prices on top of the shipping is ridiculously high. I'll stick to in store and two reputable online retailers I trust that don't break the bank.🌿
I need this right now! I have plants that I regret buying because they just aren’t happy with me no matter what I try 😩 wish I had a plant friend that lived near me so I can give them the plants that I struggle with!
In the netherlands there is what we call "het plantenasiel" aka, the plant pound. If you have plants you don't want you can go to them, and surrender the plant/take a different one home.
You can probably make some new friends with plants. Plenty of plant lovers out there. Post them on some ad page or whatever and see if anyone is willing to trade with you. I often release my extras and other unwanted plants this way and they go super fast. I don't often trade because I prefer getting mature plants to cuttings or small ones and I am into those harder to find plants right now anyway but it is possible to trade even most common and neglected plants out.
Most folks who struggle with succulents it’s because they over water. You need a potting mix that is only about 15% organic material, super well draining with lots of perlite and coarse sand. Watering, wait till it’s literally bone dry all the way through, then wait another week or so. When you’re ready to water, give it a proper good soak, literally stick the whole pot in a bucket of water for half an hour, then leave it alone again till it’s dry. I water mine maaaybe once every 8 weeks or so, at most, and not at all during winter. They like filtered or rain water, and a decent succulent/cactus fertiliser during the spring and summer, and a sunny windowsill, and they’ll do fab.
@@sophieisabelle3762 my succulents and cactus outside were drenched all summer, at least 2 heavy showers each week, many times raining four or five days in a row 🙃 never seen this much rain before but my succs did ok. I think they only survived because I had them in direct light for most of the day. The care is based mostly off conditions of the plant as far as I’ve surmised. I’ve refrained from watering any of them for the last month or so and some are starting to wrinkle up so I’ll do a round of watering and most likely leave them alone for the majority of winter now that they’re inside
I actually prefer to buy plants online because I can sit and research the plant before I buy it - whereas when I'm in a the plant shop I impulse buy cause I see a pretty plant and want it.
Its good to hear I'm not the only one with plant buying regrets☺️. Great tips on how to avoid feeling the same of plant buying regrets. Stay safe and blessed🤗👍❤️.
I also have such a hard time with the ficus genus!!! I struggled with my fiddle leaf fig for over a year until it finally died and I am super struggling with my rubber tree! ugh glad to know I'm not alone with this though, its so frustrating!
Such a relatable video 😂💚 Definitely guilty of buying a plant before doing proper research or for its looks on a photo only to unbox it and be totally underwhelmed 🤷🏼♀️
I feel the same was about the musaica. On ig I always thought it looked amazing, but those were mainly close ups on a leaf. Seeing the full plant in person was pretty underwhelming.
With that ficus you could try chopping off the top and planting those 4 large leaves in soil and then leaf propagating the other leaves in water and planting them in the same pot when roots appear! Just a thought for this icky quarantine time! I’ve been trying to keep busy and doing little planty projects like that with my plants has really been fun 💚
Once I see that a plant is no longer doing it for me, I hand it to a couple of close friends of mine who do appreciate them. I am an impulsive buyer and once home I’m like “why did I get this”. 😂Now I’m beginning to buy plants that I absolutely love!!
Thanks for normalizing the idea that we could have a plant and just not be feeling it as much as we'd like ! Kind of the idea the Marie Kondo idea, only keeping things that spark joy. It doesn't mean anything about the plant - for example I'd love to have the plain green Florida Beauty, personally! But I can totally see how that just wasn't what you thought it was. And yeah, having to buy stuff online, things are always different in real life - often in a good way, and sometimes in a "meh" kind of way.
Hi Becca, I agree with you, I think we all have those certain plants that we thought we would really like and love but they just don't do it for us anymore, most of the ones that did that for me I have since gotten rid of, the ones I have left I really like, and if I don't I try and find a new home for them or if they are on their way out I just let them go their own way and sometimes I end up tossing the plant, I think this winter I got rid of 4 plants that for me were underwhelming. On my plant journey I have tried to do better research on a plant that I get so that I don't end up hating it, lol! Thanks so much Becca, since all of this crazy has happened I have been focusing more on each and everyone of my plants and have been cleaning their leaves and trimming old leaves and just making the plant look better, and I have been having a lot of fun doing this, more than I thought I would. And since it is finally getting warmer and closer to spring I have repotted some plants and put cuttings in soil and taken some cuttings and placed them back in the mother plant to make it fuller, that has been fun. Stay safe and healthy and I look forward to your next video, sending love and lots of hugs, bye for now.
It’s funny that the “matrix” plant made it in this video. I saw all the hype on IG with that plant a few weeks/months ago, and when I saw it in a big box store I was SO underwhelmed as well. I felt the same with the Begonia polka dot. It’s gorgeous in pictures, but I left it too. 😩🤷🏾♀️😂
I have had issues with all of my ficus plants, so I've moved all of them outside and they're thriving ever since!! Except for one of my lyrata, we've been having one of the coldest winters and early springs ever. So it's hanging out with your plants in a happier place, I guess... 😁 Choosing plants in a nursery, and especially with a friend, is the best thing ever!! If only I could get all of my wishlist plants this way... Stay safe and have a wonderful day!!
I’ve bad trouble with almost every philodendron and monstera I’ve every bought. I think it’s because I dont have high enough humidity, but I don’t have the ability to get a greenhouse yet. I almost want to give up on the entire genus but they’re sooooo beautifulllll 😭
I 10000% feel the getting caught up in the need to "win" this plant without really putting thought into it on a BST plant purge. I have about 5 that I am now upset I bought. I have since traded them with planty friends locally.
I hope I never fall out of love with my plants but I must say that I learned a valuable lesson on never buying a Orchid again because I killed 4 of them. I feel really bad about it but I kept on trying to keep them alive but I guess we just do not get along so I have stopped buying them. Thanks for the video. Be safe.
I had that same reaction to the calathea musiaca when I saw it at Lowe’s. It’s been on my wishlist for a year, and when I saw it in person, I said “meh.” The pattern looks nice close up but I find now I want to see interesting leaf patterns from across the room.
Yeah, I've Killed That I thought it was just me. Everyone shows those leaves up close and they are beautiful, but it’s just too much pattern all together.
Yep they ALWAYS look different online! The only plant I bought online that looked like the photo are my 2 Asparagus setaceus and my variegated wandering Jews.
I'm getting to the point where I have enough now that I finally see where I'd let it go if push came to shove. My peace lily ... poor peace lily. It's doing well, and was in my very first batch of plants I got, and I appreciate it's still with me but.... I don't love it nearly as much as the other plant from that same shop, the marble queen pothos. Maybe my next plant swap I can bring it - though I'd sort of fear people might think it was a boring plant?
Never trust stock photos or be very weary of them! Also, A lot of variegated plants revert do just be aware that that white or pink coloring on the leaves may not last very long.
I'm glad you said this. I got a neon pothos which I had been wanting forever ...but after 3 months I'm not really impressed... I feel bad but I kinda just let it fend for itself now
i would totally chop and prop the Ficus and the Syngonium! they've got enough stem and some beautiful healthy leaves at the tops that should help them do swimmingly!! :)
The Zebra plant is one that I will never buy again and regretted buying the first week I had it. I bought it when it had that gorgeous yellow flower on it and really didn't do my research on how fussy it was. Lived and learned.
I just sold 4 plants today...I wasn't in love with them but there was a plant I really needed! (Large Split Leaf Philodendron) lol the plants are in a happier home and I am happier with a plant I love!
I wish so badly you would have shown us the spider mites I’m having a hard time finding a video that actually shows them active on the plant. I do appreciate your videos they are packed full of useful information
Oh man, they’re soo tiny and hard to see - if you search spider mites on my channel I know I showed their webbing in those videos. The actual mites are nearly microscopic and only visible once they’re very mature. They’re usually red
I am in constant battle with my ficus altissima. It was the very first plant I bought and it was doing very well at first and then that Winter shit went down because I had terrible lighting in my apartment. Ever since then it hasn't been the same. It still produces leaves, but all the bottom leaves have fallen off. I think it just needs a lot of attention and specific care but also not too much attention because I have definitely over watered it lol. It doesn't seem to like anything I do for it.
Excellent video - weird - the best plants I have had are ones I just came across- cuttings - seeds from gardens & orchids pulled from fences - sadly I have had fails though - gardening takes practice.
This is a weird comment but you're one of the only youtubers that I can watch on normal speed. I usually have to put them on at least 1.25x speed. So, uhh, good job? You are very fun to watch
I feel you. I know how it is when you have a problem child and you know how amazing it 'normally' look like, but yours don't. Mine was/is a Ficus Lyrata, he is such a drama queen. too little light, too much light, too much water, too little water, yeah he grows and for a while, he seems like he finally is satisfied and then, boom! a brown edge 😯The other problem child I have is the asparagus fern. It is the same story 🥱 I have around 70 different spices, I don't discriminate, but Ficus and Ferns do not like me 😥 Thank you, Becca, for such a great plant channel 😍
I have the same ficus and I am so close to getting rid of it!! The leaves just look all wilted and weird and I am only just now getting one new leaf after a year of owning it!
I completely understand your feelings towards the ficus altissima!!! I bought one last spring and the plant just died after less than a month of having it! No matter how much light and water I gave it (not too much), all of the leaves dropped and it just died on me... 🙃
Oh man, been into plants or close to 30 yrs now. I HATE a few. Peace lilies, Ficus, Calatheas, Zebra, and most fancy fussy plants. i am totally in love with good ole pothos, philos, sansevierias, orchid cacti, Schlumberger, succulents, and zz. I just recently tried orchids again after yrs of trying but now I think I got it. I hate peace lilies so much i wont even look their way lmao. They are the hardest plants Ive ever had. I know ppl think im insane, but they will not stay alive. They are forced flowered when you buy them then they dropped their flowers and its all just a shitshow after lol. Oh I also loathe Boston ferns. Legit look at them and they wither and drop all over the place. Ficus are fussy jerks. Calatheas are a pain in the ass and I just dont have time for it.
This is my first comment on any plant video! I have acouple plant regrets. I love your videos I have just started getting into plants. I have never really had a green thumb and could kill a catus which I have. However I've come to realize it's also great therapy and guess what I actually do have a green thumb!!!!
Oh my gosh so many folks have mentioned the Ficus Altissima in their "regret/overhyped/dislike" videos ... wish I'd known that before I bought one! It looked so healthy in the plant store.
I’m watching bc your first plant featured is one that has been struggling for me! I’ve never been able to find out what it’s name is/was... thank you for that! 🤗
The only one I wish I hadn't gotten Is my Poinsettia. I have enjoyed it don't get me wrong. The problem is that my husband wants me to keep it alive and bring it back for Christmas. I Absolutely Love Syngoniums. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
No matter what anyone says, and there are some individual exceptions, but ficus belong outside. My partner wanted to know why my calathea mosaic was not as showy as the photos he's seen. Mine is as large as yours, and it is growing. I had to admit, that as pretty as it is, it is prettier in photos, in closeups. The pattern is unique, but not as obvious at a distance. I have the mottled sygonium and mine is definitely more mottled than yours, but like the calathea, it's more of a close up thing.
I have been really into plants, and building my plant family, for about two years. I recently realized that I do best with, and am really pleased with, wax plants. I kill succulents, and it's hard for me to keep "dainty" plants healthy.
While i was out of town about a month ago my mom and sister bought me a huge 4 foot tall cat palm. I was very underprepared for having this plant, and it's so big that it takes up space i dont really have. It is doing well so far, but i had to change a lot to accommodate it. :(
I have such a hard time keeping my succulents looking healthy and tip top. I have a zwarktop and it’s been losing most of its leaves and doesn’t look as full as it should. Perhaps a small green house would help?
I wish you lived closer, I would die for a mosaica or however you spell it. Even the one you have is so beautiful. I am thinking of buying one online...definitely a wish list plant lol. Love your videos girl, I get to watch them while I work lol
For the ficus Altissima...I was given this one with huge leaves. Like you said, it is underwhelming and is a learning curve for this one. I decided to put mine outside since they want direct sun and can handle full sun. Welp, the bottom leaves were burnt on the sides and it is not a small burn. But the top part is doing fine. But for some reason, the new leaves are small...I am wondering how do I encourage it to grow big leaves.
I just discovered you through Bloom and Grow Radio plantuber collab. You're awesome! I really like your style. There's definitely some plants I've regretted buying- perfect for plant swaps! Looking forward to diving into your channel : ) Thanks for youtubing!
It's the opposite for me with the Musaica. I didn't really get the hype but now I've got it and it's sitting next to the window the leaves really stand out. With the right light they very much resemble a stained glass window.
Same for me with the calathea museica. I had to have it, but I'm not too much into it. It's absolutely beautiful and doing very well but I'd just not miss it if it was gone. I feel super bad by saying this 😂
Yes happened to me the prayer plant saw it online bought it, all leaves came dried and crunchy, I saved one leaf, had to wash roots and change soil in case it was rot and their negligence, well stuck with one leaf which is very green and healthy but is doing nothing else been with me for 3 months now.
I appreciate your honesty. Feel like this a subject nobody wants to admit/feels bad stating ha. I've already got my own list! Btw does your scindapsus like to be root bound? Bc mine looks sad even though it's not root bound. Take care ✌
Oh man, I was just about to purchase this Audrey ficus yesterday. But the Esty seller only had 2, and by the time a added it to chart...it was sold. 😳😡😫
Heard a different remedy for spider mites, spray with ice cold water. I've not tried it. Fortunately got rid of mine off 1 plant by using a soft brush and spraying with soapy water. Nothing really on my list to get rid here, nor do I have that many, my plants are mainly from cuttings in the neighborhood.
i have some plants that were cute and small, but now grew into monsters.... like its 4ft tall. its cute outside on the porch, but in winter where do i put it indoors?!
Last week I purchased a variegated whalefin sansevaria 🥰 within a 3 day time it yellowed it clearly has a bacteria situation going on on the whole left side.I m trying to save it it was a pretty penny. 😟
Hi Becca, I am just starting up my plant collection but in Canada we don't really have special plants and if we can find them they are very expensive. I wish I had friends around here that are into plants.
I'm not in love with my ficus altissima anymore as well. I'm planning to prune it to encourage some branching or something since mine is also looking leggy and not too good anymore... Lol

There was no confusion. Some people just have no manners!
I'm very sorry that I asked about the musaica I didn't hear that about buying for a friend. I would never try to be rude, or overstep my place. :)

My Calathea is doing great. It's breaking down nicely in the compost heap and one day will have the very worthy job of feeding a less needy plant. 🍃

Oh no- not the trash! Im sure you will find the perfect home for those plants. 🌱❤️ Thanks for sharing Becca
Definitely will!
So glad you’re keeping busy with your plants ☺️❤️! Always glad to hear from you :) hope everything is going well for you!
The begonia looks great in personal and on photos. But also scary. So it's also a no from me ;]
I had to laugh 😂... "Let it fend for itself". I'm sure I've done that in the past for sure.
english ivy. ugh. just straggles along, but won't die, and I don't have the heart to throw away a live plant, lol
I have had issues with all of my ficus plants, so I've moved all of them outside and they're thriving ever since!! Except for one of my lyrata, we've been having one of the coldest winters and early springs ever. So it's hanging out with your plants in a happier place, I guess... 😁
Choosing plants in a nursery, and especially with a friend, is the best thing ever!! If only I could get all of my wishlist plants this way...
Stay safe and have a wonderful day!!
Those ficus are tropical outdoor trees. Putting them in small indoor containers and denying them full sun, the torture !
Be safe.
Oh yeah orchids seem really hard! 🥴
I like my peace lily. It's not outstanding but it's quite big so it's a good for a background/filler sort of plant.
Never trust stock photos or be very weary of them! Also, A lot of variegated plants revert do just be aware that that white or pink coloring on the leaves may not last very long.
I just bought a prayer plant... im praying i keep it alive lol
Cute video! We all have those “regret” plants. 🌱😂 -Your plant friend in NC
Yes, this! Was thinking the same... Sometimes all a sad looking plant needs is a good pruning.
Thank you for normalizing plant regret! It is very helpful!
🙌🏼🙌🏼☺️
The Zebra plant is one that I will never buy again and regretted buying the first week I had it. I bought it when it had that gorgeous yellow flower on it and really didn't do my research on how fussy it was. Lived and learned.
Zebra plants are definitely annoying!!
Love this video 💕💕 the part with the philodendron florida had me laughing out loud. Can you show how you treat the spider mites
😂 here’s how I treat: ua-cam.com/video/SUErac8c3Go/v-deo.html
I just sold 4 plants today...I wasn't in love with them but there was a plant I really needed! (Large Split Leaf Philodendron) lol the plants are in a happier home and I am happier with a plant I love!
That’s me with my syngonium albo... it’s scrawny and I’m not loving it.
I struggle with this too! I've done this a time or two, bought a plant and then fell out of love with it, lol. It happens. Just sell them!
Excellent video - weird - the best plants I have had are ones I just came across- cuttings - seeds from gardens & orchids pulled from fences - sadly I have had fails though - gardening takes practice.
Girl, I'll take the green syngonium hahah. I have a few plants i have fallen out of love with. I agree, it's totally normal. Great video my friend! 💚
🙌🏼
This is a weird comment but you're one of the only youtubers that I can watch on normal speed. I usually have to put them on at least 1.25x speed. So, uhh, good job? You are very fun to watch
Omg! Thank you very much haha def a wonderful compliment 😄
This was fun Becca ♡! I def dont feel bad about getting ready to purge myself as if late!
Definitely have regretted a few plant purchases in the past. I’ve gotten a bit more careful about my purchasing to try to avoid that!
So have I!! It’s all a part of the process 🤷🏻♀️
Agh they’re the worst!!!!
Agh yea! How quickly the tides turn
I feel. Anytime I fall out of love with a plant, so far I’ve always been able to rehome them haha
That’s so good!!! Im glad
Always the best subject to discuss and your opinions are honest. ❤🌿🌱
I’m watching bc your first plant featured is one that has been struggling for me! I’ve never been able to find out what it’s name is/was... thank you for that! 🤗
Great video 😂🤣🤣 totes relatable!! I just decluttered my “regrets” and gave a 📦 to my boyfriend! Hopefully they bring him joy!
Good for you!
Hi Becca. I would definitely love to have your plants. Before you throw them out...
Thanks Becca. I too have fallen out of love with some plant ,unfortunately I have no one to pass them along to.☹️ oh well. Stay safe, be careful💚🙃
Aww :(
What area are you??
I wish you lived by me, I have great luck with houseplants, and I'd love to give any great houseplants people don't want anymore a good home 👍☺️
I totally tossed my dramatic zebra plant into my backyard. Done with it!
Chantal Marie was thinking of doing this earlier but i felt bad haha
Really?? Man....I love mine! He's been growing so well!
Omg me too!!! It’s such a diva and I’ve done everything
Same!
I got one for free from someone that was moving. Get a watering meter! Total game changer !
Good morning everyone!!! Hope you all have a great planty day!
I can totally relate... I also have a few that I'm like ehhh about lol
🙌🏼🙌🏼
Waxy plants are definitely easier to take care of!
@@BeccaDeLaPlants I over-love my plants, so heartier varieties are best for me🤣
I tought myself not to feel bad throwing/giving a plant away!
That’s good!!
While i was out of town about a month ago my mom and sister bought me a huge 4 foot tall cat palm. I was very underprepared for having this plant, and it's so big that it takes up space i dont really have. It is doing well so far, but i had to change a lot to accommodate it. :(
Sweet video, thanks so much and I hope you and your fam are doing well too!
☺️❤️❤️
I also really want to get an altissima. Is it different in care from other ficus or about the same?
Oh my goodness, I wish everyone who does not want their plants would give them to me!!! I have GREAT luck with houseplants 👍
That’s great!!
Thanks for this video... I bought 3 polka dot plants and I can't make them happy at all!
That’s so awesome!! ☺️
Take care ✌
Hallo 🤗i have a calathea mosaika 😅a monster in a 40 Inch Pott and i love it 🌱💚thanks for your video best wishes netti from germany Coburg 🌝🌞👏
Oh man, I was just about to purchase this Audrey ficus yesterday. But the Esty seller only had 2, and by the time a added it to chart...it was sold. 😳😡😫
where i live, ficus audrey grows by the side of the roads and literally everywhere. Its an eyesore at this point
@@shompreetyfairuz5159 LOL.
Like you that is usually my reaction to spider mites... Disappointment followed by trying to understand where they came from.
Great video! Now I don't feel so bad about regretting some of my plants :D keep up the good content and wonderful spirit!
First comment & like! love your content, I’ve learnt a lot from you :)
I would adopt all of them😔😭 bec i really love them
Hi Becca, I am just starting up my plant collection but in Canada we don't really have special plants and if we can find them they are very expensive. I wish I had friends around here that are into plants.
Try Facebook groups for rare plants!!! They have canadian ones
I'm not in love with my ficus altissima anymore as well. I'm planning to prune it to encourage some branching or something since mine is also looking leggy and not too good anymore... Lol
Love this, thank you for making me feel less guilty 💔💚🌱
That singonium is soo cool!
How funny is it that I also just found out that my Florida Ghost has spider mites on it today whilst I was watching this video? 😂🤦🏻♀️
I haven't had any luck with my ficus. Very little growth...if any. Also spider mites are a pain.
why not cut the ficus? it'll promote it to branch out and get fuller. since you have it outside it should have nice new growth this summer.
