- This is the sixth track off of Paul Hardcastle's album Extreme Global Hardcore, "Killing Machines." However, it's probably better known as "The BIONICLE Music," as that was the name it went under when it was put on the Power Pack promotional CD. The Power Pack version of this track is actually shortened, as this version is ~45 seconds longer.

I think it would be the random encounter music, or at least sub-boss music. I most associate it with Kopaka fighting the Muaka.

It always saddened me that they never used this style of music in the films 😔
Sadly the films were trying to be more accessible and family friendly which is why all the cool abstract stuff was pretty much taken out. The last one wins some points for including Michael Dorn in its cast (Worf from Star Trek: The Next Generation) but overall I’d say the films are just okay, which is a shame because Bionicle has one of the most stand out Sci Fi stories I’ve ever seen. Mind you, it was a slow burner and the more complicated stuff didn’t really happen until after the events with the Visorak hoard.

Been a huge fan of Bionicle since the early days when they sold Bohrok sets at the dollar store. That was what, 15-20 years ago at least?
All these years, all that time of not knowing the actual name of this song, up until tonight....
I feel like a part of myself has just been made whole with this discovery, like one of my life’s personal greatest mysteries has been solved.

I had the chance to play this at a set for a live performance set and to my delight see all become shocked by this "mystical" music soundtrack and they could hardly belive that this was so good from a time long ago (at least in their minds). And now they are also big fans of Bionicle.

Wow! Never knew there was a longer version of this until today. Thanks for the share. The Bionicle Music has been a part of my childhood since 2001, and it's cool that even now, 21 years later, there are new things to learn about it and all things associated with it.

19 is great, as well as King Tut and Fly By Night. All worth a listen!
