Beautiful small town! My mom took me there back in the fifties and sixties. City has done an amazing job modernizing the town and it really shows and must be proud of the results.

Wow downtown has changed so much since the 90’s. My family came from a little holler called Beefhide Creek (Myra). My great grandfather was Blackhawk Jim Elkins. My grandfather was Alvin Elkins. Alvin died in 64 before I was born. I’m learning more about my family, although it’s harder since my dad passed away 3 years ago. I was told he’s one of 125 grandchildren.

My ancestors lived in Pikeville for generations. My great grandmother was Mary Ann Justice and my great grandfather was Colbert Cecil Little. My grandmother Ruth Little married Mason Sword. My great aunt Lucille Little married Jack Hatfield.

That is a beautiful town! Lots of land for sale in that area! We want to move to Kentucky! Anyone have any thoughts for rural Minnesota folks who have many reasons to move out of this state to Kentucky? Great video!

Latter part of May this year! Flying into Nashville and checking out NE Tennessee and quite a bit of Kentucky! My boys want land and we will all live in the property! Excited!

I'm from Louisville and I say Louieville, like everyone has always said it. Whats this Louaville garbage. Theres a statue of King Louie 15th downtown. City is named after him, and how do we say his name? Louie😂 Yes, I think I'll stick with that. The others can't read or don't know Louisville's history. Who knows? I think you're doing great!
