Ashland has been working a lot lately to improve and update the town. That greenish business is Whits frozen custard. Very very good!
Broadway Square is new for local performances and movies for the public. I’m not sure that the bank supplied that or if it was the city. The Camayo Arcade was the first indoor mall in Kentucky. The Kentucky Highlands Museum is great to visit with lots of local history. Also fun for birthday parties. We have a lot of new little shops and treasures if you just look around a little while. Thanks for visiting our town!
Oh! And if you come back this way, come down US 60 and visit camp landing.

I've lived in or near Ashland my whole life, I love to hate it. I talk about how bad it is, but honestly I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

That dress shop at 5:32 was for decades Steele’s Pharmacy and lunch counter. It was a pharmacy and diner with the best food. That was the place to eat for the downtown workers and shoppers. Great video!
