I'm so glad I stumbled upon this series. I've been reading Dresden Files for a few years. Other than the collections of short stories, its not a quick read or listen with the audiobooks. I'm looking forward to discovering the rest of the Croft collections. A complete story you can listen to on a 2 or 3 hour drive or flight is great
I ran across this and thought I would give it a try. Thank you for the upload! Good narrator...pronounced dour properly (as in moor as opposed to hour). Lol! a perfect Inspector Clouseaux! I am really enjoying this! I would be really suspicious of a sign saying 'Forbidden Texts'. Normally people would hide or destroy forbidden material, not put up a great big sign advertising it!
Sorry- but there are three common, correct pronunciations of Dour, and the most common rhymes with Sour (or dower) not moor (hence the U is not an O) or door.
I loved this! I can get housework done, enjoy the book, and not feel guilty about spending hubby's $ when I already have KU and can't afford Audible any more. Thank you so much!
I'm into long distance running and I always have audiobooks on. I came across this by accident and I'm loving it! I've already added the books to my cart but I'm gonna keep listening... Can't stop!
I do have all the books from Audible but this is so great as instead of having to mess putting them on player can just open up here on browser on laptop and listen while I work. Thank you x

Simple ,until you run out of family and friends , then you're either deliberately bonding with a stranger, or you pay up. The bond has to be deep and it has to be real, on both sides , or it wont work. How many times can you rip your own heart out and stil have one ? Why'd you think folk lore has it that vampires attack their loved ones first? An enjoyable listen, but it delves to much on the left hand path.

That's probably best as the prequels give you the main character's origin story
