This lineup has always made me feel like I'm standing at the edge of something that's ready to blow up and then it just keeps building and expanding, weaving itself into something else altogether. Perfect chemistry.
There are lots of songs I think I would eventually come up with, given infinite time obviously. But then there's songs like this. I have no idea how humans are even capable of this. Pfno is my favourite album ever :)
I went to like this comment and realized I already did long ago lol 😂. This was the first I was exposed to BTS. I was excited to see pavement on HBO and boom! He even mentioned modest mouse and from there it was a rabbit hole. Love this sound live by bts with caustic resin. Changed my life me and my little brother watching this in like 99. I was 17.
@taylorbortnerathing yes, now I think you are right, I watched the time trap video from this show and noticed that it says karena on vocalist's guitar, so it must be the same with this guitarist, and I totally agree with you that it would be really cool, they don't seem to pretend to be something they aren't, they just play awesome music, the little thing today's bands put in second place while putting image in the first.
@cobyblack i think it is probably his girlfriend or wife. on doug's (the vocalist) guitar it says something like "kerena" with a heart next to it. the other guy (brett?) has "pixie" with a heart. i think if we were referencing the pixies he would have made it plural. it's probably just a tribute to their girlfriends or something, which would be really cool because it's the opposite of "rock 'n' roll"
@taylorbortnerathing I agree, well I tend to think that older stuff is better. But that is because back in the day industry was interested in real talents, which could make great music and sell it, and nowadays they're making their own "talents", there's so much bad music and it is so hard to find something good, it looks like most people are much softer and lazier now, but there are and always will be true artists
@m0destm0useisg0d There is no DVD of this that I know of. There is a live album that is a compilation of different performances including songs from the HBO show Reverb, which is where this clip is from.
@cobyblack well i don't know you so i wasn't sure if you were one of those people who thinks that everything modern is bad and everything old is great. "they don't make them like this anymore" etc. i mean i think we're sort of in a bad time musically right now, but i don't think there's NOTHING good coming out and i also think soon good stuff will become more abundant
@taylorbortnerathing please don't tell me that you think that I didn't know that, but it is fucking standard. And most of standard bands have questionable goals. like money, but there are tons of original bands.
I just recently found out about these guys, they are great! Does it say Pixie on his guitar? Is it reference to Pixies? Which, by the way, is my favorite band
yeah they are, not all of them though. This song and Randy Described Eternity and The Plan were on the album. time trap was almost on the album but was removed sadly

Love hearing those two play together, sensory overload.
I’ve seen this lineup live many years ago and it was the greatest concert I’ve ever been to.

Fully on board. Best. Album. Ever.
Amen
It really is SO GOOD. I got to hear this song live last weekend!

The instrumental part from around 2:00 and 'till around 3:45 is as good as it gets
bliss personified
netsons forever❤
Love this song. What a cracking live version.
Three guitar attack mode!
the whole song and video is amazing but from 2;00 on the sonic journey is so insanely good
Doug is my guitar hero.
I remember watching this episode back in the day. I had never heard of this band and I was totally blown away. Thanks for uploading this!
must've been great!
Incredible performance. I prefer this version than the one actually on "Perfect From Now On."
great example of how an EBow can make something soar
Groovy man.
This version is better than the album one. It lacks the overly long intro and gets right into it. And it’s played perfectly
So good.
i love this version
Hermoso!!!

yeah, karena was Doug's wife and Ben is his son.

Iove the outro part so much

@cobyblack not ALL of today's bands do that
scott plouf is really hot.
Doug sounds a lot different in this version and in the Live album instead of the video version
Kylar The Enhancer are the tracks on the live album from the HBO Reverb shows? I didn't think they were
yeah they are, not all of them though. This song and Randy Described Eternity and The Plan were on the album. time trap was almost on the album but was removed sadly
