Shoebox Ford Aluminum Radiator Upgrade!

In this video I replace the radiator in my 1949 Ford Custom with a 226 flathead six. I am replacing the leaking stock one with a new aluminum one from Champion Radiators.
The part number is CC49-6

I watched your video because I’m considering changing the radiator in my 51 Ford custom, it isn’t leaking but I do see some weird green copper oxidation on one side of the radiator so I’m starting to suspect it’s going to have an issue in the future. I’m curious to see if the aluminum radiator improves your temperature situation, you did mention that it was running hot before you installed the aluminum radiator, how does it run now? Does it still run hot or has the aluminum radiator effectively reduced your operating temperatures?
