I"ma dude and shyt and I NEVER realized so much went into dancing but if you really pay attention to how complicated this set throwing is, I guess you have to respect the girls for what they do! Damn. I couldn't imagine keeping up with what was going on... LOL But I love the way ole girl (da captain) threw the last set.... I just see that sexy part over and over and over in my head. It's not just the Settes that do that. It's not even limited to college dance troupes. ALL captains do it. From my experience they do it to observe, retain formation, or yell/give the evil eye. I've seen captains turn around and stop dancing. To yell at the squad and also sit girls down. It's their job.

They would kill Hot Ice, but Hot Ice uniforms make em look like they going to the club lol . I really don't care about counts, I mean you could throw some new ones in, but I think that bad counts shouldn't be used on good songs. All counts in this song were great. Good job!
@bluphi1877 State's history does not go as far back as Gram but close. But i do agree and i hope many of these no history unborn youngsters will some day understand that neither jsu nor su has a richer history and that my friends are simply facts, not to take anything away from their programs.

I used to be a BCC fan for dancers but JSU outshines all dancers in the HBCU, i laugh now when people say the dancing dolls...ha...but I'm from VA and I also like NSU's HOT ICE all day.. I'd love to see dem battle it out on the field....
You seriously "DOUBT" but I know....JSU trumpets are not as strong as NSU's trumpets...but JSU has some good trumpets though. Have you even heard Norfolk's trumpets...have you seen both bands in person?? I have and I can be a "non-biased" judge on the best trumpets in the HBCU bands...which I would have to say 1) NSU 2)SU 3)AAMU 4)JSU...
