Grease is the truth! I never stopped using it. Grease has gotten a bad rap from a lot of content creators. It's all in the technique. A little goes a very long way, depending on hair density, albeit do what works for you! Your crown is flourishing ✨️ 😍. Thank you for sharing🙏🏾
It’s not that grease has a bad rap. If you put it on your scalp it clogs your pores which can cause scalp issues. If you put it on your strands it takes time to remove because it contains petroleum. It takes more than one shampoo session. Tightly coiled hair needs to stay stretched wash n gos only create tangles. Which expedites hair loss. I have tightly coiled hair so im speaking from experience. And listening to Trichologists.
Which is why I said it depends on technique, ie......how you use it. A clarifying shampoo removes it. I'm speaking from experience as a cosmetologist with over 20 years of experience ✌🏾@reginagordon4246
@reginagordon4246 I've always heard that grease clogs your pores but last year a chemical formulator that I watch said mineral oil and petroleum jelly are actually a 0 on the comedogenic scales meaning they don't clog pores! I was in disbelief but sure enough if you look it up...they both have scores of 0!
All these gels, edge controls, wig glues and mouses that people use clogs the pores so much more. There are literal warnings on the packaging that people ignore.
Actually the few knots with grease makes sense because it is helping to keep your hair from drying out. Dry hair forms knots the fastest. Ms. Fro looks great and so do you! *whispers* fine type 4 hair with less density can be a blessing because you get the full look with less hair to detangle and dry. There’s a blessing in that lol
This is why we need you back! Yes grease keeps my hair from so many knots and tangles. Ive stayed away from wash n gos due to knots. Now i wanna try this!
One thing I've always appreciated about you and your journey as a long time viewer is how you consistently include tips and tricks on how to make wash day for the type 4 girls easier, despite the hiccups ❤❤ Now I'm almost 13 years in and I still refer to your videos for guidance (definitely gonna order me a baby visor for wash day 😂😂 that is a genius hack!)....may even revisit some products I used to use back then
Good to see you. I am glad to see someone who also does what's needed for their own hair. I have incorporated blue make original the white one and chebe grease to my hair routine since I've embraced my grey. You're hair is beautiful.
Hey girl, im so glad to see ya. I have seen other subscribers using blue majic. Never tried it. My and your hair is exactly the same. Whenever we leave our hair type alone, it thrives. Your hair looks amazing! Welvome back lady! God bless
That’s my issue too Kris’s they have changed so many formulas of natural hair products so I’ve just been enjoying using leave in conditioner and grease .
It's so frustrating! Companies constantly selling out and or changing things for the worse! I've even gone back and re watched some of my old videos to see what used to work for me and went to potentially repurchase some of those things... only to find out that the product is COMPLETELY different and people are having issues using them now smh.
I can’t say enough how happy I am to see you back. My hair has a small tight curl pattern and takes a lot of time to get it right. Your hair looks very healthy with full edges. Your regiment is working for you!❤
You’re beautiful, your hair is beautiful and I have enjoyed your content for years now! I hope you are feeling better❤ I’ve also returned to using blue magic or softees hair grease. The best hair decision I’ve made all year. Thanks for the upload!
Yes, being sick isn’t for the weak! 😩😩😩Wash days are the longest and hardest. I’m getting to the point I might have to find some one 😞😞😞 My hair in the front does it’s on thing, I loss my edges and the first row of hair, so I wear a twist from ear to ear cause my front won’t curl or nothing. Praying for you. God is healer 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I am glad you are still doing well after all these years but I have so many questions. 1. Have you tried curl creams to do your wash and go's too? I have been using low fragrance in a lot of my haircare so I don't get allergy attacks as well. Not your mother's and mixed chicks now has fragrance free options, the kids haircare is usually low in fragrance like dove or sheamoisture which also gives better slip, the original Giovanni lines (not the 2 chic) are all low fragrance and more naturally produced. 2. Do you live in an area where you can't get a lot of options for hair products? I use products both online and in different stores like whole foods, ulta, marshalls, target, walmart, etc. I feel like you would benefit from organic, botanical, or fragrance-free haircare if you can find them. 3. what are your favorite deep conditioners? I genuinely have tried them all and don't like them. been using rinse outs for over a year and my scalp feels better 4. Are you also allergic to dyes? My best friend found out she was allergic to blue dye and had to purge most of her medication and clothes and hair products of it and she is doing much better. Unfortunately, its in our food too and no way to purge all of it. 5. Are you gonna try an all raw plant diet to help with your fibroids and hair growth? I am learning so much about what we eat and how it can destroy your body. I am B+ and eating chicken can cause growths in the body. You can look it up but I have been eating chicken all my life. Guess what? I also had fibroids and endometroid removal this past week. Not only that but I have tumors in my breast (all benign) but scary. I wish things like this are taught more in school. We can't do anything much about the pollution but at least we can control diet. Sorry if you have already talked about these topics, I am a little sleepy lol. Sending prayers your way for a full recovery!
This was very helpful. Thank you. I am going to implement putting the plastic bag on my hair after I apply the leave in and before I style. I was thinking of doing that before I saw this video. This video reinforced the idea. 💡
Hey beautiful. It takes a long time to do my hair and with aches and pains, I have a shower chair. It helps so much and they are not just for seniors. I only use it for wash days because it takes so long.
I like the ideas that you had to find a way to have a very cute result at the end! Products should be used as a tool, and you demonstrated it well! Thanks for that video! I want to see the pn with the parting technique! Love ❤❤❤
New subscriber here! So glad I found your channel, your hair is gorgeous! 🥰 Has anyone told you that your celebrity lookalike is Beyoncé? Your face shape says that y’all could be sisters lol!
I had 7 fibroids I think 1 as big as an orange. I had to get a hysterectomy and I was happy!! I also have Neuropathy and Fibromyalgia. I just cut my hair really short now my right arm is just not that great.
We have the same hair type, girl all you need is to just cowash with that conditioner, it clumps your coils without you having to do anything! Then put in a leave it conditioner, I promise you'll get the same results and less time! That's what I did everyday when my hair was that short lol. Put on the headband and leave out the front with the sides tucked in, you'll have the cutest hairstyle 🤩
Creating hair care content for the chronically ill is amazing and needed. I feel like disabled natural women get left out too often
I’m so glad that you are back. Although I no longer have loose natural hair, I will continue to follow you. 🙌🏾🙏🏾❤️

Hey, BEAUTIFUL Lady, with the BEAUTIFUL curly hair! ...Okay, let me finish watching the video.
Haha what up! Thank you! 😊
So glad to see you, and your hair looks fabulous!
Hey beautiful. It takes a long time to do my hair and with aches and pains, I have a shower chair. It helps so much and they are not just for seniors. I only use it for wash days because it takes so long.
I haven’t saved a video since you posted a video!! ❤❤ I need a video on how to refresh hair in the worst way!!! Thanks for the video beautiful Sis.
Yes, my hair started growing with it.
I like the ideas that you had to find a way to have a very cute result at the end! Products should be used as a tool, and you demonstrated it well! Thanks for that video! I want to see the pn with the parting technique! Love ❤❤❤
Thank you!! :)
Wow I knew you looked familiar I watched you years ago😊
I've been using Hairtage fragrance free shampoo and conditioner. For leave-in and gel, I use curl smith.
New subscriber here! So glad I found your channel, your hair is gorgeous! 🥰 Has anyone told you that your celebrity lookalike is Beyoncé? Your face shape says that y’all could be sisters lol!
can you do a video on you thyroid issues ? The video information would be helpful.😊🥰
Thanks for sharing

how long does this process take? how often do you refresh your wash and go throughout the week?

Your scalp is skin. Just like your face and body it needs to be cleaned regularly. Conditioner is not getting your scalp clean.
❤
What up Kriss? 🫶🏾
Hey!!
