Don't apologize, I loved it!! Lots of good laughs in this one. That pig talk had me rolling and what was up with that crazy sound that one made when he was in the small trap?!?! Perhaps you could give that tooth to the pig ranch and whoever gets that crazy sucker can glue it back together. Glad you got them big boys!!!
One of your biggest struggles in a while but one of your best videos to date. Anyone with suggestions on how to load animals hasn’t loaded very many animals. They have their own will and might. Incredible to see those amazing animals, well done on getting them in the truck, you zre a true proffessional and its great you care for them so much, simon, Stamford Eng.
@@SimonWalsh-n9c Thank you I appreciate that. Maybe when it cools off I can get more traps going. Still in the 90s here. I have to check them all before I go to work or they will get too hot and die during the day. When cold weather, we run about 20 traps per day. Depending where they are it can take 4 hours or so just to drive to them all not mention if they have pigs in them lol. Its basically a full-time job on top of my full-time job lol. And then trying record and put up videos, its crazy 🤪 lol. But I love it I guess lol 😆 Appreciate the encouragement!!
@@BigMan-zp9oo probably not this weekend but maybe the next hopefully. I probably need to move most of those traps this weekend. I think me and my wife are going to see Chanda Pierce, (I probably spelt that wrong) This weekend. She is a Christian comedian. She is soo funny, but has been through many tough times.
I've never seen Hogs' so aggressive and angry on any Hog channel like you caught the way they were fighting as if they knew the game was up but very good sizes felt for you in that heat but your persistence ground those bad boys' down into surrender.👍👍
What you need is another fence panel to lift over snd put in the pen so you can squeeze them down in the corner by the opening. Also you need a helper!
Those last 2 hogs stood there and watched what happens to them when they go in the smaller cage. Im surprised the last two ever went in without additional methods
@@ernest7015 They are definitely stubborn. They dont like having thei back to you, they keep eyes on you at all times. Even in the wild you may walk right by one and never know unless you make eye contact then its on lol. Of course you would probably smell a boar lol
You dont need a smaller trap. You need a better designed trap. Pigs are wary about stepping from earth to a metal floor in the loading shoot. Try covering the shoot floor with dirt. Reduce the opportunity to not go up the shoot by having a wing on the open side of the shoot so they funnel into the shoot. If you made the wing the same size as the width of the trap, so you could swing it like a gate to hold the hogs in a smaller pen at the entrance to the shoot.
The only thing I would add to that trap would be a center gate. Like we had at sale barns to stop that long pen. I built the one at ada 30 years ago spring loaded latch and a rope to pull closed. Was there last week still being used
IV Thought about that. Maybe have to. Me and my brother went to the Comanche sale there by Meridian Oklahoma when we were younger with my dad and they asked if we wanted to work? Of course we did lol. Dude we ran all day long. They would call the lane and the gate number, best I can remember, and we would run get the cattle and run them to the front, then a girl on a horse would run themm through the sale lol. We had fun but couldn't do it today lol. They wanted us to work I think the goat sale also and we were like, a, no thanks lol 😂 good times and lessons
@@billywarpool3625 Hi Billy, I apologize, they were hot and I was excited and forgot to weigh them but I roughly estimate 900 lbs for the 5 I didn't even think about it again until y'all started commenting lol. Im sorry about that.
I don't think there's anyone around cud tell you how to deal with 4 Boars that size. All showing off to each othet, trying to seem fiercer. Amazed why they didn't make a sound once they were in the Pickup. I thought they near kill each other in there? Well done, patience paid off, but it'd be far more profit in twice as many smaller ones in a tenth of the time!
If you laso those hogs, NBC, CBS and CNN should give you your own show. Be sure and tell us what they weigh. This one is the most vicious one I've seen.
@@valeriestokes4663 Yes those big mature males don't back down from much. I apologize on the weight, they were hot and I was excited and forgot to go across the scale. looks like they prefer the far (from the loading gate) side of trap because there is a bit of shade. Why not putting some shade next to the loading ramp?
