Mark, ask Butler, or Zipper or any other Steam manufactures that you are using if they make a clip on LED light and you can put on the sight tube - i’m thinking it would be kind of handy, you can actually see how much you’re getting without having to strain look at it. It Wouldn’t be that hard to make - battery operated LEDs. It would not take that much voltage. Beside, it’ll look great on the video! GLOWING CHOCOLATE MILK 😉
Sorry about this, Mark, I totally forgot. Also, Could they make a headlight. I noticed you’ve had a lot of problems lately with lighting in the restaurants and the hotels that you’re cleaning. Again, maybe an LED light bar that would be battery operated that it would attached to the forward end of the steamer head. That could come in handy. And don’t they make a shoulder holder or a pad you could put over your shoulder, maybe attach with Velcro, and then sling the hose over that so the hose is out of your way? We used to do that back in the old days with really lightweight vacuums compared to nowadays.
It started out from our Saiger's Sauce 1 prespray that we modified with an oxy and enzyme. And we do not use any Butyl's, no solvents, no De-Limolene or NTA's to make it work. It has a unique surfactant package that really works well to suspend the soils for easier extraction It's been a favorite for sure 😊

Couple hours of driving to go 😜. And now that I'm in Minnesota, it's cold and raining 😅. Need a coat and don't have one with me. Can never win... Lol.
Hey Mark! I’ve always wondered does the zipper require a good amount of water pressure? What do you do if you have terrible water pressure at the location you are at?
They would need good flow like for a regular wand. The regular Zipper operates consistently from 400 psi and above. We run them around 500 to 600 psi. Now the Super Spinner needs 800 to 1000 psi to really run efficiently. You will want a larger blower for a Super Spinner and also would need a truckmount or larger triple stage vacs in a portable to run a regular 13 inch Zipper
Watched your videos for some time you are like the God of carpet cleaning wow what results. But the restaurant owner get it done before it get that bad if I came in to eat I would think twice about eating there.
Thank you. They actually pushed it off even longer on this one... They just called and scheduled for this coming week since this cleaning 😬. The boys will be cleaning this one. I'm out of town. Hope they can grab some video though for us
Great job Mark! What's the PSI running in the zipper?? And your truck mount cranks out the heat! How hot is the water inside that Zipper?? Nice job as always!
About 900 at the truck for psi this night. Truck is over 300 degrees at the truck but it looses a lot through the hose so we see about 200 to 220 at the wand. Not sure how hot inside the Zipper chamber but it does hold on some heat too 😊👍
4 months. You can maybe see that under the booths though it was pretty clean, so.... 😁. They have an area of the place they might need to give some attention to 😁
Hi Mark great video. Very informative. What do you think the pros and cons of that regular zipper vs the zipper SS. I do remember you saying that the zipper SS takes more maintenance to keep it clean and spinning well. Any difference in cleaning ability?
The regular Zipper is easy to maintain and actually in nasty cleaning you can pop it up to 700 to 800 psi and it cleans and recovers incredible with it's jet angles to the glide. The Super Spinner has an advantage on super thick greaee 😊👍
Thank you. Dirt and soils can be kept up to with some good regular vaccuming by the way. It is reccomended to have carpet cleaning done about once a year and that can additionally help with more soil removal. I'm sure your carpets are not even close to what these are though 😊
I really like your videos, Mark. When you push the Zipper or Wand forward and back, is it doing the same action? Also, what is the "Clicking" noise when you push the Zipper forward? Thanks for the fun!
The "clicking" you hear when they push forward again is them getting off and back on the trigger. Just the sound the valve makes, if you pay attention to the hands during that time you will see the quick motion of the fingers off then back on.
Thank you so much. I see it was mentioned about the click clank sound. It is the trigger echoing in the handle. Super fun unit. And yes it cleans forwards and backwards 😊👍
The Zipper Super Spinner uses 800 to 1000 psi to spin the Spinners. This was about 900 psi at the truck. The Spinners are angled so as not to flood the carpet, but to glancing blow to the glides. They are a different angle (less directly downward) compared to a tile and grout spinner.
