  • Hello Friends!
l continue to work without slowing down and return the dirty carpets, one by one, to their former glory.
Today re are washing an extremely dirty children's carpet again.
when l saw how dirty the carpet was, l realized that an extra effort was required to wash it and l fought with plenty of foam, which is an effective method. This is how l managed to make this carpet, which is normally almost impossible to clean, reusable.
l read your comments, but sometimes l cannot reply due to busyness.
    l love you all. #carpetcleaning #satisfying #asmr

Same but it’s like waiting for the treasure of the image at the end - restored to it former glory! That was a pretty old rug ? I’m guessing it’s a pretty expensive thing to have done unless there a value to those rugs , more than the intensive cleaning ? That looked like early Donald Duck , and worth a bit to a collector? The 65 year old Persian rug looked easy peasy next to this?
Can I ask how much you charge per rug that size and in that condition?

My grandfather and my father ran a rug cleaning business in San Diego. Not once did I see a rug this filthy. People have horrendously low standards and would bring in rugs that they would roll up with dog turds on them but never like these rugs. These You Tube rugs are like something from a flood after a mudslide. Also, this kids rug would never be worth getting all of that dirt out. To clean it would cost many times the worth of the rug and no customer would pay that kind of money. That said, these videos are immensely satisfying to watch.

Like a lot of jobs! I work on restaurants or job in vegetables and fruits fields, all day long to be on the dirt with tools, cut all day, or return dirt with shovel. You are exhausted, 10 hours like sport. Impossible to go to sport. Even if you want. People see my arms and think i did lot of sports and musculation. No. Never. The job he did it is very harsh, specially a lot of hours by day! We saw just 20 minutes! Sometimes to the end of shift, your arms can't get more, legs too. When you walked all day in wet mud, on knees, on feet, every second on keens on feet, etc. We can't making sport. I have co-worker who try, he stops.

I can NOT Believe the amount of dirt, and thickness of it, that came out of that little rug..... And then you flipped it.... Again... And again.... Rolled it up and walked on it.... Good thing for everyone you don't charge by the physical amount of dirt that comes out. As vibrant the Donald duck rug came out clean in the end.... I suggest the owner frames it and hangs it on a wall! If was mine, sure as hell wouldn't let anyone attempt to walk on it ever again, Lol. You are AMAZING.❤

    QUESTION 🙋‍♀️
Years ago in the 90’s I laid carpet and I’ll say many carpets look decent until you roll it up and look at the back. The front looked phenomenal but the back still looked very dirty. Why not do a couple passes with that industrial spin brush to get that back grime out too? I wouldn’t accept that carpet back any less clean than the front. All that work, cost, time, effort and pride…. Brush that back a couple times and you’re golden.
    God bless and be well!

    • @HalfB
      @HalfB 16 днів тому

@@iriock I guess I’ll clarify since I got a couple comments about this. He passed over it twice to get the caked on mud out but when he rolled it up where you could see the back it was still really soiled. He then stepped on it to get some of the water out. Again at that point two passes over the back was not enough to bring it to its original color and get all the dirt and stains out.
He then started to add the sudsy ( I love that word 😆) soap and went to town with the industrial circular scrubber on the front.
That’s where I noted he didn’t use the sudsy cleanser nor did he do any ( past the two swipes sans suds) passes with the industrial scrubber to the back of the carpet after that. So we saw the dirt and stains after the two passes and it was still really badly stained and in no way can that be scrubbed and cleaned from the front.
I should’ve clarified in my first post that I noted the two passes but that just got out the caked on dirt ,but obviously not the more intense stain’s because we saw the stained condition of the back of the rug when he rolled it up and stepped on it to ring out the water.
So, my question still stands… why not go over the back with the industrial cleanser and scrubber to get those notable stains out? Be well ✌️

in the summer I scrub the carpets at my workplace so I'm curious what you used on the rug to make it foam up like that, cos I've never seen this method before. also the foam getting all over the machine made me die a little inside XD

I've watched a bunch of these rug cleaning videos. It's impressive how much effort and resources it takes to clean them. It begs the question: "who lets rugs get this dirty?" I mean, I've seen services that come to restaurants and retail stores that come on a weekly basis in the winter not have to deal with filth like this! If you owned a hotel, you wouldn't let the main area rug in your foyer get like this! How do they get this bad?!?!

  • @LanaSel

what you do is amazing and I truly respect your work. I also hope it's possible in future to find a way to use less water and chemicals. Probably there are some kind of small pools to put rugs inside? or some flat vertical water tanks so that you can hang the rug and put into water to soak in? should think about a bit of process optimization for the sake of our planet 🙏🏻
