What a man. Vulnerable and honest. You can see the hurt and regret in his eyes, and he isn’t too prideful to admit that he f*cked up. I remember the Tom Brady interview where he was asked if he was content after signing a massive contract and getting married to Gisele. He basically said “there’s got to be more than this… there’s a lot of other parts about me I’m trying to find.”
Yet, he's still chasing the wrong direction. Often, sitting with oneself...listening deeply...is the hardest thing to do. So people fill it with every pursuit imaginable & still end up not content. Content is being good with what is, now.
I had a savage episode the other day. I stopped by to see my aging uncle for his birthday. I was born into an old family and he is one of my few blood relatives alive. He kept telling me to, “have a seat nephew.” I was in such a rush to go about my day. Later I thought about it and felt like a piece of shit. I went back and he was sitting in the same place on his porch watching the cars go by. His kids don’t seem to feel bad about never checking on him either. I guess sometimes we all just get lost in stuff that doesn’t really matter. Looking back, I made the same mistake with my father. “Permanent lasting consequences,” was a good way of putting it.

Hell yeah but it’s easier if you have peace of mind. This is why I advise people to really spend time on themselves. Improving their lives while figuring out what actually makes them happy. When you have peace of mind you tend to attract a partner with it as well.. Or a certain high level of thinking.. So it’s more of y’all coming to an agreement if you were to break up and it’s no hard feelings whatsoever. Still hard but not nearly as hard as someone taking the little peace you had with them away. If that makes sense.
