watching you and (you and Hank) do this type of stuff brings me back to my childhood with my dad and my uncle working heavy equipment. My uncle had an excavation business in Osteen Fl for as long as I can remember. Thanks for taking me back.......
For me that oil spill would only happen with a new pair of boots. I like it when people put up videos whether they succeed or not, it shows the true world. Thanks for the video.
Lucky day for the dog. Good work there, Wiley saving it. When you were being towed in the Mack with the door missing, it reminded me of the final Sean's of mad max 2. Wiley, the road warrior, lol. Great job on saving the old truck. Thanks from Australia. Keep up the great work. Thanks for the video.👍👍🤣🇦🇺
Thank you. I really enjoy your videos, it's so so good to see these classic trucks and machines come to life👍 Can't wait for the next episode with fresh starter batteries and hope it fires 👉🚛👍🙂
I watched you and Hank for a while I did not know you had a channel to the other day I am glad I found it that was good my friend at least you know the Mack has oil pressure I really enjoy you 2 channels y’all have Keep up The good videos and you are a good good mechanic my friend be safe
Your still the Man Wiley, your a very smart Man for sure, I know you will get😊 it running again, I’ve watched your videos long enough to know better, until your next one, I’ll be watching
Thanks for another great video Wiley. It was interesting and enjoyable. Well you got it loaded and back where you can work on it and clean it up. Sorry it will not run for you. Being stubborn I guess. Interesting it is going overseas. Thanks Wiley for the video. The Iowa Farm Boy.
A bit of American history going overseas. Sad to see that, hope the new owners will look after her. Good luck ol girl. Keep the greasy side down and the shiny side up.
Thanks for sharing, Wily! 😎 I've seen some boots labeled "oil resistant" , that puts them to the ultimate test. Hopefully you were able to get 'em clean.
I do remember those. The poor man’s Mack back when I was logging. I actually sold one a year ago that did not run but it was the first I seen in a long time Thanks for watching
Thanks for another great video, It's good to see you work in your own environment doing your job your way earning money. I enjoy seeing you with Hank and the banter between you, but sometimes that seems like it's got way to much Discovery channel "Gold rush" type drama in it for the show. You get lucky with finding that old stuff to sell, up here in Canada this areas pretty dry, and the machines over priced if I do find anything for sale or fix to sell. There's nothing left in it at the end I just fix stuff for others most of the time and give them the bill instead. Take care.
I watched these out of order wiley but 100 percent you're gonna have to get into that injector pump if u want it to run. Or find a used replacement. I've worked on enuff of em to know. That ol doggie almost had a permanent metal igloo for a new house lol. Nice save! Love ur channel need more jokes though
@@DontbeWily I love your channel…and the Hamilton farm one too…getting old equipment running is right down my alley!..that’s beautiful country down in there..I’m in southern Wv..very mountainous…coal was king but not any more…
No firing, no smoke, lots of bugs and lizards 🦎 popping out everywhere. 🤔Pull the breather and spray either directly into manifold/turbo. Compression ; Fuel; Air: That's the only thing it could be . I don't think it is getting AIR in because the either should have made it fire. Might be a new infestation of your little friends. COMPRESSION, well it ran ?last week? on either, so it has compression /might be low . FUEL, I think you had fuel to the injection pump but with how much pressure? It could be any thing along the line ... the lift pump fiber plungers/diaphragm ... Like you said try and purge all the injection lines. Cross your fingers 🤞
ls this the same R-Model Mack Hank challenged you to get running in 2 hours without his help and only a Crescent wrench and a flat- head screwdriver and two batteries?⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yes sir or the plungers/cam followers are stuck up. I work with old tractors and combine engines with inline pumps it's real common, the crazy thing is you can get a pump sat 30 years it'll free up and run like it's parked yesterday . The next ones sat 2 years and it's junk, this modern fuels garbage and it stuffs the pumps up where the older fuel didn't so much. I had a pump on the bench a couple weeks ago I couldn't even beat the plungers down the bores with a hammer and punch. I'd got a good idea it was junk before I stared though, so no real loss in the end,I gave it to a guy for the good parts he needed in another pump.
When I was 18 a farner I worked for tried to pull me on my motorcycle with his tractor after the battery went dead...it didn't end well. Not sure why this made me think of that
Thank you Wily for saving the puppy !! 🐾🐾💜☮️

Wily check the fiber valves on the lift pump .Thay will crack and brake. Easy to replace. Hope this helps. Don't work too hard.
Thank you. I will. I will google that but don’t tell anybody

Thats prob just a plastic oil gauge line and you should put power on an aux pump to prime it up lol.
That things making oil Wily lol up threw the floor come a bubbling crude
That’s a good one. Thanks for watching
Call the old Mac, 'Jed' Clampett
I still have the 205 area code here in Bama land.
You need to replace the primer check valve under the new pump you put on.
She was making oil but now most of its on the floor 😭 but a top up will fix that as I'm sure u will sort it no probs hope to see u on ur next one 👍
Good vid Wily.

You did save that dogs life, too close for comfort, I did care if the good guy or the bad guy wins in a western as long as the horse survives LOL
In OZ old Mack was air start
Amazing how much of our rebuildable, reliable trucks are leaving the USA and we have to buy new unreliable junk.
I can't be Wily though, I am Heather 😄
Lol
Thanks for watching Heather

Possible that the fuel rack is stuck
