O czym była pogadanka bo kilka komów zostało usuniętych, a ciekawi mnie to. Gadaliście o stronach gdzie fani kiedyś tłumaczyli wojowników?
Z tego co ostatnio wyczytałam w starych książkach na wattpadzie to tam też kiedyś tłumaczono na polski wojowników jednak jakoś w 2016 lub wcześniej książki z wojowników z tłumaczeniem na polski zaczeły być usuwane przez modów na wattpadzie.

I just got polish "Into the wild" ("Ucieczka w dzicz") and I'm soo happy I even got it (it was found in FOURTH book shop...).
And I LOVE the art, even if it's not made by Poles, but I can be so happy of the translations!

Of course she couldn’t actually change the story but if she wanted she could probably side with one character just by adding adjectives to that character.
5:39 there's a mistake , as somebody who had four of the polish books including into the wild it says "Ogiste serce" but it's supposed to be Ogniste serce.
I'm a proud owner of nearly all Polish Warriors Cats books and I love how they look! I wish I wouldn't be as impatient as I am, cuz now I'm on Fading Echoes cuz I can't stop thinking about what Will happen next!! I wanted to Tell that I love all of covers and translation is very good!

The thing I love about the Polish covers is that they're recognizable. Looking at the new American covers, I always feel like I'm going "okay so this one is... Tigerclaw?? That one might be Bluestar, but I have no idea..." But with the Polish covers, I immediately know who I'm looking at and what scene is on the cover!

Sadly enough, Estonia has suffered the same thing that Poland did at first. We only have the first 2 books translated and there aren't more coming. I gotta say i did read the first 2 in Estonian and one thing i'll never forget is what they did to Rusty and Brindleface
They named Rusty ruuge, which means dark yellow or light brown
and they named Brindleface Ruugenägu, nägu means face but i explained what ruuge meant.
I have to say now though, i honestly feel like actually translating forest of secrets for Estonia aswell now, but that would surely need alot of help.
I'm happy to know that Poland is doing amazing though!! I'm pretty close to Poland actually so this is great to hear :0

In Sweden they just started on Power of Three, and they translated Hollypaw to Blackpaw and Jaypaw to Bluepaw...

Nie spodziewałam się tego, że anglicy będą nagrywać o naszych polskich książkach. W sumie to my jesteśmy daleko w tyle za anglikami bo oni już mają 7 serie, a my w Polsce mamy tłumaczoną dopiero 3 serie no i kilka mang, superedycji i jedną nowele.
W sumie fajnie że dodali przynajmniej napisy po angielsku, bo ja tak bardziej jestem wzrokowcem i rozumiem bardziej czytając tekst (szkoda, że nie ma napisów po polsku no ale jako tako z moim słabym angielskim da się zrozumieć ten filmik dzięki napisom po angielsku)

I am so in love with all this work they do in Poland, covers are just perfect, and what's great is that my language is very similar to Polish, so I get to read the books not only in English! And Missy you do an amazing job with correcting everything, it definitely gets better and better!
Aaah... I feel so jeleous now... I live in Estonia, and well, speak Estonian. No Warriors books in this language, no WarriorCons, not even English Warriors available at our libraries...
Our draftsman, Jędrzej Chełmiński and the rest of the graphic designers are doing a great job! Newer version of "Into the Wild" has illustrations in the book, not only on the cover. I have every pre-release - every single volume. And "The Sight" looks great! We warmly greet the guys from Poland! And thank you for your very kind words

I like nearly cried when I heard Akreon was doing covers for warrior cats. I used to read their comic Off-White. They are an amazing artist and I can't wait to see how they bring more of the Warriors series to life.

I remember the time when I thought I only knew about Warriors in Poland I couldn't find anyone who would know those books (It was like 5 years ago ;-; Yeaah time passes) but now... There are so many of us in the Polish Warriors Community and I'm so proud of it!
Okay but Poland covers of literally any cat with blue eyes are always STUNNING
I grew up with the german translations of the warrior books. I'm glad we were never that far behind (usually only about half an arc or one arc) with the translations, though the Covers aren't very representative of the cats in the books. The polish covers are lovely.
Translation wise there are two "mistakes" that bug me: Rusty being called Sammy in the german translation and the german translation of SkyClan is CloudClan, which doesn't really fit (but we use the same word for sky and heaven, so maybe they were afraid that people would mix up SkyClan and StarClan ?)
Also I think the german content consultant should pay more attention (or they don't have one?). When reading a translated field guide a few days ago they misgendered important characters like Bluestar several times and had other errors that should've registered, because they contradicted each other in the same book.

Yeah, it's actually not that uncommon when it comes to languages from what I've heard.
actually it's hard for ftms who don't look like males (because everyone's always referring to them as if they're female), or for mtfs who don't look like females (because everyone's always referring to them as if they're male), or for nb people since the slavic grammar mostly doesn't have a way to have a third gender in it (so it's hard to avoid the gender while talking to people when MOST of the words are gendered).

Awww, Poland warrior names are cool! Here in Mexico (Spanish versions and covers that're also German), the warrior names started so good/decent!
I'll be showing the Spanish translations for the names, because I'll be complaining about them. Ignore this extensive comment if you're not interested in Spanish cat names XD
The way I wanna do this to avoid confusion is the following,
OG CAT NAME; Spanish name= What that name translates as. Only if the translation isn't exactly what the og says.
*In Prophecy Begins, you have pretty good names, quite literal at best, intuitive and related a worst:*
WHITESTORM; Tormenta Blanca
REDTAIL; Cola Roja
DUSTPAW, DUSTPELT; Polvoroso, Manto Polvoroso (more like Dusty/Dusted)
DARKSTRIPE; Cebrado= Zebra-like Stripped (this one took some time to understand, but ok)
FIREPAW, FIREHEART; Zarpa de Fuego, Corazón de Fuego
GRAYPAW, GRAYSTRIPE; Zarpa Gris, Látigo Gris= Gray Whip adult name
LIONHEART; Corazón de León
BLACKFOOT, BLACKSTAR; Patas Negras, Estrella Negra= Black Paws/Feet warrior name
SILVERSTREAM; Corriente Plateada
SCOURGE; Azote
MOUSEFUR; Musaraña= Shrew
*For apprentices you got some names translated by milestone instead of switching suffixes and adding words, a couple confused me but nothing crippling:*
SANDPAW, SANDSTORM; Arenisca, Tormenta de Arena= Sandstone apprentice name
BRIGHTPAW, BRAIGHTHEART; Centellina, Centella= Sparkly/Little Bright, Sparkle
CLOUDPAW, CLOUDTAIL; Nimbo, Nimbo Blanco= Nimbus, White Nimbus
SPIDERPAW, SPIDERLEG; Zancón, Zancudo= Long-legged, Mosquito
CINDERPAW, CINDERPELT; Carbonilla= Cinder (they didn't change her name)
*But as the books progress and we reach New Prophecy... the names start getting weird and non-intuitives. They abandon the two name policy that aids some! Or add the suffixes without taking on account how awkward the new name sound! For example;*
CROWPAW, CROWFEATHER; Corvino, Corvino Plumoso= Corvid, Feathered Corvid

*Hollyleaf gets her own classification, because holly, Ilex aquifolium, is better translated as "acebo" in Spanish, not "carrasca". Maybe in Spain "carrasca" is a valid translation, but Wikipedia gave me four options, one Ilex and three Fagaceae, which are; Portuguese oak, kermes oak, and evergreen/holly/holm oak.
Ok, from "Carrasca-stuff" to Holly 'cause that's the original, but I feel they could've used another tree as a Holly translation.*

I'm from Switzerland and read all the books in German and honestly the covers look STUNNING!! The names are also very very pretty :D Although, I sometimes have troubles with the names, when watching videos, since I can't literally translate them,,,, for example, Ferncloud's German name is Rauchfell, which translates to "Smokefur" !!

Kittens are hardly mention by their names, and when they are, it's normally their aprentice name, but with "small" at the beginning.
The saddest thing is...That we don't have special editions... The Prophecy of the Three hasn't even arrived complete... I stay in this fandom mostly because of you two, some others and the WONDERFUL maps.
But yeah, apparently, Spain doesn't care of Warriors. I do.
To be fair, compound names would be strange sounding if we translated them literally, they wouldn't even sound like names. But it is annoying, and at the end, I just read the books in english, since when I was reading them in spanish, I had absolutely no idea of who was who.
