You already have this figure, you are just missing some extra stuff, hot toys real lazy with this release, didnt even try to get it accurate

Great review bro as always, what a masterpiece. The battle damaged half head sculpt is so great, I can clearly see the resemblance of Hayden Christensen there. Even though the Obi-Wan TV show is controversial but I definitely LOVE this figure.

Made my own 1/6 version of this about a year ago with all the damage and face reveal. Everything lights up including red inside the helmet making his face glow (chest box flickers like the damaged one should), made a bigger rock base diorama coated in charcoal dust (glued on). I sampled all his lines from the fight scene and transferred them to a very small audio player and used a larger speaker in the diorama (hidden with everything else like batteries and charging sockets etc..) lightsaber illuminates and hums with battle crashes etc.. I thoroughly enjoyed that build! I do a lot of them! LOL.

The suit probably the same but i guess it’s upgraded than a new hope material.. so hopefully this will last longer ..
How’s the head poseability on yours? Mine can swivel alright but the head keeps popping off when I try to tilt it up and down or left and right. And the neck joint feels super stiff when I try to move that part alone.
I think mine is fine, but it always happen its qc issue if that’s what happened to yours..
Hope that release the standard dx28 deluxe soon!
Keep in mind the cape is designed to reverse to not be damaged to go along with the none damaged version

Wearing gloves to handle something often increases the risk of damaging it as you can't judge how delicate you are being as well as you can with bare skin. Museums have stopped using gloves for this reason.

unfortunately I believe it's all still pleather not genuine, price they're charging for these things nowadays should be genuine leather
No lol it shouldn't be genuine leather. REAL leather, scaled down this low would be so stiff you'd break the figure before getting a good pose.
Real vader suits aren't leather for the same reason.
Lest we forget, leather peels too over time, when made to be supple enough to move well.
Something better than polyester is what we need. But genuine leather isn't it.

As an animal lover, I’m against using genuine leather.
The leg section of his boots smell and feel like leather, but the toe section doesn't.

So hot toys got lazy again, at least get the helmet right, but i guess hot toys wont do that, if you have the rogue one vader you tech already have this vader, just missing extra accesories

Had 2 HT vader here in PH and wala talaga eventually it will flake kahit anong maintenance 😢 had to find an alternate figure to get that headsculpt. Kaya I got the figuarts instead, not 1/6 scale but will have more shelf life for sure
