I’ve not got a Vader in my collection yet, so I pre-ordered two. Battle damaged to go with the Inquisitors, and clean version to put with my OT figures. Still debating whether to cancel one, and get the upcoming ROTJ Vader to go with my OT figures… But as this Vader is the best yet, I’m not sure. What do you think, Sneaker?
I personally am getting the ROTJ Vader also. It’s really hard to make that choice! I’d probably go with ROTJ if you want something to go with your OT figures, but this clean version could represent that as well. Good luck with your choice!
Great review Sneaker! It's so difficult not to get both! I want to display both versions. Awesome to see both lightsabers side by side. The USB version doesn't look that bad. Pleasantly surprised at the brightness of the USB. The CCFL adds another $140 bucks, but it looks Amazing! I only have the DX28 preordered.

Great review. I almost bought both versions, but ended up with just the DX28 (when the ROTJ version comes out, I'll have four). It would have been really nice if they'd add a tiny red light inside the helmet of the battle-damaged head. There is still one version of Vader they haven't given us - the episode III Vader, when we see his face/head just before the mask and helmet is added.

I was only able to get the DX27 from my local store since it's the only version they got. I have the ESB Vader in my collection already so I can live with the DX27. I would've like to have that light up base that comes with the DX28 though
Awesome review! I got this figure, (DX28) and its so awesome! But the chain that holds the cape together at his collar broke off on one of the sides, do you have any suggestions on how to put that back without it looking too ugly, I was kind of thinking of like, hot glue, but I don't want a blob of glue to be there, again, awesome video!
Dang that’s a bummer! If you just got it you could reach out to where you bought it from and see if they’re able to help you obtain a replacement cape. If not, I really am not sure. Maybe fabric glue or you could try sewing it? I haven’t needed to do that before but I would maybe do some research on Google to see if you can find anything. The other option is finding a parted out figure and buying the cape, or buying a custom cape. Thank you for watching!

Yeah it’s packed basically the same, except there is no spot for the clean helmet or chest piece inside the foam for the DX27. Thanks for watching bro!

Awesome review mate, great detail. Just got a ccfl in for this figure myself and I’m liking it. Never had one before and don’t think I’ll get them for all my star wars figures as it ain’t cheap. But Vader definitely commands it
@@EvilSneaker i Dare to say IT IS maybe an cheaper solution Most old vaders suffer from an weak helmet shape while the bodies are fine with the dx28head one solving this issue and come Out with maybe 200 bucks at end Not the setprice for the dx28 Deluxe.
I have the DX28 and love it. IMO this is a future grail. Just an amazing figure, one of Hot Toys best.

Use a hair drier or heat gun to soften the gloved hands. Makes attaching easier

Well i would try to buy the head Clean from the dx28set and fix IT to an other Vader bought cheap second Hand to get IT for an better price.
