Did this hike exactly 11 years ago. I was not in good shape (though I'm in worse shape now) and it kicked my butt, but I'm proud to say although I took almost 6 hours I made it to the top and didn't resort to driving there!
From personal experience I would say Mount Sherman is honestly not a a bad first 14er summit, its a 14er so it still isn't easy but I feel like it is more beginner friendly.

what is that parking area called? seems to be two different trail heads wondering if the road up to both are the same.
Thanks for the video. If I can’t really do rock climbing, is this wise to hike? I really want to climb a 14er, though. I just need a trail!!
