A question from a dutchie i dont understand why they are so upset when a team try to score in an empty net is such a big deal. Can someone explain it to me please
Colton: Should've gotten two game misconducts and a suspension. Was only fined five grand. Foligno: That kind of kneeing penalty should always be Match-Intent To Injure. No further league penalty. That should've been the rest of the series. Pietrangelo: Suspended for Game 5. Probably should've been 5 and 6 (slash and instigating an incident in the final five minutes) Kolesar: And that should've been at least Game 6 and a team fine too. Benn: Benn got two games for that. It was either that or the rest of the series, because even if careless, that was a dirty, dangerous hit. Tkachuk: Should've been a game. It was clear he wanted to start something, and it was within that last-five. Durzi: No further sanction.

But we soon as that cross check came even I was happy to see him go. He may play on my favorite team but I don't like seeing cheap shots like that. I hope player safety gets on his butt for that
@@ajax803 I'm saying it started innocent until Hughes turned, which led to the hit being dirty. If ya read you'll see I said that and that I'm not defending, cause I'm pissed at the actions of Colton
That last one was how it used to be taken of, you get up and send a clear message. No waiting for the enforcer to come in and go at it after he gets out of the box. As a 50 year hockey fan, that was how it's done.
I grew up a Red Wings fan watching Steve Yzerman. After him, we had Niklas Lidstrom and Henrick Zetterberg. I believe a team captain leads with sportsmanship and talent. Goons like Benn, Marchand and Tkachuk don’t lead with class.
They have a strap that hooks their jersey to the back of their pants so it can’t come all the way off. If their jersey does come all the way off it’s a game misconduct. He didn’t have his connected.
Durzi knew exactly what he was doing when he looked back and then cut in a few feet short of the boards and jammed in hard against Vatrano. It was a calculated move and it payed off.
Hockey jersey have a strap on the back that attaches to keep them from getting pulled over a players head. League rules say it has to be properly tied down
@@michaelmasi5220 It's not dumb at all. When your shirt is loose and you get into a fight, your opponent can't get as good a grip on you, you can even easily lose the shirt altogether and beat the everliving shit out of the other guy. Sounds innocent, but it's basically like bringing concrete gloves to a boxing match.
Not a fan of either team but this is exactly what the problem is with the NHL today. Two players going into a corner for a loose puck and one player is not expected ANY contact at all and puts himself in the worst position possible. Skating around not expecting to be hit is a huge issue
I'm as big of a Stars fan as there ever will be, and Benn's penalty in that game was one of the stupidest things I've seen. Very good chance it cost us whatever comeback we might have had in that series as well.
Him and Seguin are holding the team back. Robo, Miro, Wyatt, Roope, Otter and even Pavelski are playing like champs but those two plus Suter are dragging anchors.
The Foligno call was ridiculous. Foligno went for a check and stayed in the same position the entire time. Never stuck out his leg. Should have been 2 at the absolute most.
I feel like they decided that Foligno was reckless in not avoiding contact of that kind and treated it as deliberate in that way. I've seen other very similar kneeing calls assessed 5 minutes.
That last one was brutal. Refs don't call the clear boarding penalty, and then hand out a game misconduct to the guy who got boarded because his jersey committed a major infraction? Who was the ref, Angel Hernandez?
Im an avs homer so let me know what yall think. I think that an ok hit. I just think it could of def gone without being called. I can see how they called it as well it looked bad.
hockey and football are games you can deliberately end a players career and get away with it. Hockey you can push a player into the boards head first and nothing happens, cross check across the head causing concussion and slash with their stick across the body/legs. Football you can tackle at the knees tearing apart the knee, tackle twisting the legs into a pretzel and blind side block.
@2:37 I'm still having a hard time believing this was anything but unintentional. Marcus Foligno isn't a player with a history, like Cooke or Pronger, that would lead you to believe he was trying to throw a knee. Just my opinion.
2nd to last one, isnt that just a 5 for fighting? There was no misconduct there. He went off because there was 3 minutes left, no point in sitting in the box.
And I was my team was versing Minnetonka in a different tournament and they had a big kid so I got the puck and went behind the net and he was chasing after me I knew he was gonna bodycheck me so I sped up the his stick hit the side of the net and hit his stomach then he got hurt and at the end he got a penalty for hitting our goalie with his skates he got the penalty and he clapped his hands as he went to the box our whole team clapped for him and one of our coaches almost when out on the bench and fought the other coaches

11:48 As much as I don't like fights in sports (keep in mind I'm not a big hockey guy) I find this scene a lot more palatable than most brawls in sports. The 2 guys with beef settle their own score, and the rest don't run out there to push and shove aimlessly and otherwise look like morons (baseball bench clearing brawls look rather silly to me). This is better, IMHO.
If you get off the bench to join a fight in hockey its a two game suspension
Uhhh ok what's the misconduct for that last section? Not tying down the jersey? Why is that a misconduct?
I'm not a huge hockey fan but really enjoy these videos, the Golden Knights seems like a disgustingly dirty team
Also get away with alot of shit because there the leagues touchy penis!!!
Yup
They definitely are. Check out a UrinatingTree video called "Chirping With The Vegas Golden Knights" for a clearer picture into how the franchise operates
They really really are. First game of the season this year, after they won the freakin' Stanley cup, what did they do? Howdon brained Tanev, only got a two game suspension while Tanev will be out for most of the regular season because of the injury. Absolutely disgustingly dirty. Also look up what they did to Pavelski in 2019.
@@thecaffeinequeen Except there was no "what they did" to Pavelski. That's why majors have to be reviewed. But don't let facts get in the way of a good narrative.
Great compilation.
A future comp idea but not sure if already done; players scoring in their only NHL game.
Hockey season means Jens95 season
I’m a Dutchman so I don’t know a lot about ice hockey, what is the most common injury? Is it a concussion?
What happened in the 2nd clip? What was the problem
I'm a Stars fan and I can't stand Benn's style of play. Doesn't even encourage our own team to play better. Just dirty. And he really let us down this past series.
That penalty on Foligno is wrong. That was accidental. He could have been just as injured.
A question from a dutchie i dont understand why they are so upset when a team try to score in an empty net is such a big deal. Can someone explain it to me please
What classes as a legal hit in hockey? Does it have to be shoulder to shoulder?
I think the easiest way to answer this is with a video straight from the NHL: ua-cam.com/video/GornRqDMS_g/v-deo.html
5:52 I’m still getting into hockey and even my jaw dropped at this hit
Colton: Should've gotten two game misconducts and a suspension. Was only fined five grand.
Foligno: That kind of kneeing penalty should always be Match-Intent To Injure. No further league penalty. That should've been the rest of the series.
Pietrangelo: Suspended for Game 5. Probably should've been 5 and 6 (slash and instigating an incident in the final five minutes)
Kolesar: And that should've been at least Game 6 and a team fine too.
Benn: Benn got two games for that. It was either that or the rest of the series, because even if careless, that was a dirty, dangerous hit.
Tkachuk: Should've been a game. It was clear he wanted to start something, and it was within that last-five.
Durzi: No further sanction.
Jamie Benn looks like a rich kid who's a daterapist in every movie ever.
😂😂
Very first clip, as an Avs fan, I was pissed. Boarding ok ya that hit was clean until the guy turned, stuff happens take the minutes. But we soon as that cross check came even I was happy to see him go. He may play on my favorite team but I don't like seeing cheap shots like that. I hope player safety gets on his butt for that
The Department of Player Safety has spun the Wheel of Discipline and determined... $5k fine.
@@StarkRaven59 at least it's something... Hopefully Bednar will make practice hell for him. That shit is unacceptable
Except it's not clean. Hughes never touched the puck.
@@ajax803 I'm saying it started innocent until Hughes turned, which led to the hit being dirty. If ya read you'll see I said that and that I'm not defending, cause I'm pissed at the actions of Colton
@maekklyn I think it's that he's young, and was frustrated knowing he got a penalty and Meier chirping at him got under his skin
That last one was how it used to be taken of, you get up and send a clear message. No waiting for the enforcer to come in and go at it after he gets out of the box. As a 50 year hockey fan, that was how it's done.
So basically VGK are in every misconduct play in the NHL. Dig it.
i remember watching that Petro one live and I was so tired of listening to the broadcast defending him
I like these do more
6:11 pause… what did he do?
I grew up a Red Wings fan watching Steve Yzerman. After him, we had Niklas Lidstrom and Henrick Zetterberg. I believe a team captain leads with sportsmanship and talent. Goons like Benn, Marchand and Tkachuk don’t lead with class.
Why was the last one game misconduct again Arizona?
Didn't have his Jersey tied down.
@TheDarwin42086 ohhh I didn't hear the last part"not properly tied down"
The MN-Dallas one at around 2:30 was a BS call. No way that was intentional.
Benn’s like welp im goin to jail anyway might as well finish him😅
I saw Colton’s hit on Luke. I think he deserved a suspension but that’s just me 🤷🏼♀️LFGD
5 and a game for not tying your jersey down is incredible
I miss the days of Kevin Steven, Chris Chelios, and Tie Domi type players
Can someone explain the last game misconduct?
He didn't have his jersey tucked in.
They have a strap that hooks their jersey to the back of their pants so it can’t come all the way off. If their jersey does come all the way off it’s a game misconduct. He didn’t have his connected.
babe wake up Jen’s95 uploaded
Durzi knew exactly what he was doing when he looked back and then cut in a few feet short of the boards and jammed in hard against Vatrano. It was a calculated move and it payed off.
What did the last guy get game misconduct for? That his jersey was ripped off of him?
Hockey jersey have a strap on the back that attaches to keep them from getting pulled over a players head. League rules say it has to be properly tied down
@@jeffo.4285 That's such a dumb reason for a game misconduct penalty
@@michaelmasi5220
It's not dumb at all.
When your shirt is loose and you get into a fight, your opponent can't get as good a grip on you, you can even easily lose the shirt altogether and beat the everliving shit out of the other guy.
Sounds innocent, but it's basically like bringing concrete gloves to a boxing match.
@@jeffo.4285is that why his jersey is all over the place when he's skating? And the Anaheim players jersey is not?
Watching both their knees hyper extend on the foligno play is especially brutal to me
Not a fan of either team but this is exactly what the problem is with the NHL today.
As a Stars fan, I was soooo mad at Benn for that xcheck when Stone was already down...
I didn't see any problem with the Vatrano hit. He waited until the numbers turned. Good hit.
Thank god this video was made before the sens panthers game where there was over 100 pim
Tkachuks game misconduct was for instigating a fight with less than five minutes remaining
What do they have to do to get ejected from the game? Premeditaded murder or is that just 10 minutes?
Did they say 90 for Arizona instead of 50
Wait! If the ref said Arizona #90 then doesn't that mean JJ Moser gets ejected
First clip: 2min for boarding? Huh? thats a major any way you look at it.
Beautiful...MORE! More hits, less video of the the players standing around
Thank you adblockplus
That last one was brutal. Refs don't call the clear boarding penalty, and then hand out a game misconduct to the guy who got boarded because his jersey committed a major infraction? Who was the ref, Angel Hernandez?
Im an avs homer so let me know what yall think. I think that an ok hit. I just think it could of def gone without being called. I can see how they called it as well it looked bad.
3:30 I love watching McNugget charging in and then literally shitting himself when Pietrangelo decides to fight back.
“Literally shitting himself?” Are you fuckin’ stupid? Never mind, your comment said it all.
Love seeing Durzi get down. Miss that kid in LA.
The girl in the stands at 0:40 right above the hit got me cracking up.
hockey and football are games you can deliberately end a players career and get away with it.
Just my opinion.
lmaoo @ 9:38 someone really said the ref was terrible 😂😂
Dallas fans...
First one is insane!! How is that a penalty?? How does hughes go into that puck battle without even thinking of preparing for a check??
Got enough to do a sequel?
That one on Filino was pretty tame.
Jen95 i love your videos
The things I want for Germany at the moment are a better top tier cas as the tornado is defenseless in the sky at the moment, and a better spaa other than that I enjoy the tech tree
Played hockey for 10 years, I did not in fact know you could give a team a 7 min long power play
Yep, that's pretty unusual.
Avalanche STILL one of the dirtiest teams in hockey- haven't changed since I watched them againist Red Wings of 90's.
Jamie Benn 2 games suspension probably caused the Stars playoffs. Nah, what do I know, right? Knees on knees are the worst. You can end a player career by breaking their caps. Petrangelo two handers slash! 😪😪😪😪😪
😧😳😳😳😪😪
10:09 are we not gonna talk about that Jamie Benn tape job
I'm a Ranger fan, no love lost on the Devils. But man, that first hit gave me goosebbumps on how dangerous it was.
