For anyone who does not get it: Many of German tanks in WW2 had to be started via a crank at the back side. It was more of a failsafe when it could not be started electronically
Some WW2 aircraft had this as well. They were called inertial starters, basically a bunch of weights that you'd get spinning really fast using mechanical advantage. All that force you put in over a few minutes of vigorous turning would get stored as spinning motion, then when they started the engine it would all get released at once. The tool made it look like it was a wind-up toy. Some aircraft were light enough that they would be started by a mechanic literally spinning the propeller really hard. This did have the unfortunate consequence of breaking knuckles or even removing fingers if done incorrectly though, as well as getting more difficult to do as engines got more powerful and bigger. Granted, I'm not too familiar with WW2 tanks, so this could be a different mechanism such as a ratcheting spring arrangement.

Only a few minutes later did I realize that playing a Prussian marching song in Soviet territory when your tank is not currently on and you are outside would be a horrible idea, regardless of if it was meant to keep the crew happy.
As a german, I will say, that I enjoy the enthusiam from the ball, as it perfectly reflects my own. And the Preußen Gloria is just phenominal. Love it. Such class and tradition from our wonderful country. Nice, little animation. I approve of it.
As an German....... 50 - 60% might go to restart the Vehicles in the storage hangars as we have just..... "Sparprogramm'd" our military. Not to forget we might atleast one Gepard to be a threat to Russia's helos but we had disbanded it. Soooooo..... Don't worry. It might take a while.
This meme aged well. The German engineers just released a new MBT. They really REALLY should release a Tiger II lookalike MBT and name it the Tiger III. Throw on an Iron Cross, and point their fingers at Russia. My German Blood is boiling over with excitement just thinking about it.
As another german I think we should keep our military as small as possible to show the world that we are a peacefull country. No one is gona risk atacking europe so why have an army. We have more then enough other ways to support the countries an the eus borders if a war does break out
