I got a 2008 Lexus es350 I am fixing right now. Got a P0500 code throwing for the “vehicle speed sensor” not the “ABS wheel speed sensor” cause I took all 4 wheels and tires off and used a meter to test the wheel speed sensors and they all have normal range of resistance. So now I have to dig into the transmission and change the vehicle speed sensor. Everyone seems to think these are all the same thing…
My 2005 Sienna has a code P0793. Is it possible to access and replace the green transmission speed sensor by reaching the hand there, without taking out the air box or other air ducts? I want to do it myself, but disassembling the air ducts parts looks daunting to me..
I know it looks daunting, but thats the only way. Unless you just try removing the battery. Remember to disconnect the negative which is the black cable then the positive which is the red cable. When reconnecting battery, connect red cable which is the positive one then last the black cable which is the negative. If you cant manage with the battery route. Then the air duct is the only way. Hint, label your hoses with letters before disconnecting anything and take pictures for references on how to reconnect air duct! Good luck. Let me know how it went!!!
Good evening, I have a Toyota sienna 2007 LE and I changed the green and black sensors and I still get the code p0500, it's possible that the connectors are dirty and they have to be cleaned
Hey what symptoms did the car have when it was broken ? I have no speedometer, cruise, check engine light, or odometer. also sometimes stalls. did you. have these. btw my tranny was fine.
I had all previous problems you mentioned except the stalling part. Im pretty sure after you swapped out the speed sensor you began to experience the stalling situation.
Hello sir, I changed the automatic transmission of my scion tc 2006 three times and I still have that error code p0793, because the recoil does not come in normally all the time, now I want to change the computer, could you give me some idea what is happening thanks
Change the Abs Module, its more likely faulty.it some how got wet and corroded. I know because i used to wash my engine with the car wash pressure washer and eventually water leaked in the Abs Module and screwed things up… Same thing was happening with mine.
Excuse me but I found the black sensor by removing entire air intact, filter assembly and there was the Black sensor. you seem to be saying otherwise. what's the right answer? What I mean is the black sensor is towards the back of tranny.
I understand. I changed both speed sensors , abs sensors for all 4 tires, all rotors and the problem persisted. It has to be Abs control module. Try swapping out the abs control module. If it gives you a different engine symptom than the previous abs control module, you know its the ABS CONTROL MODULE. Thats why it took me 3 tries until i found a good working refurbished abs control module
@@TheEtixzShow but it’s way cheaper to swap sensors firs of all. Secondly my symptoms would not be caused by abs based my hours of reading. Did you what I had?
My car is 2006 Sienna. The engine, ABS, and Break light on at the same time. I also have PO500 code. I changed the black one flowed your video but those light still on, should I change the green one also? Thanks
Was the ABS MODULE a refurbished? If so, take it back and exchange it. Thats what happened to mine. After 2 Abs modules it was finally fixed. You probably got a defected abs module. Keep me posted.
Please see this video for part number for green speed sensor 👇 ua-cam.com/video/aImpCZ79goE/v-deo.html Or its best you can just purchase the speed sensor from the Toyota Dealer. They will let you know what part number it is (Black Speed Sensor)

Anything is possible. Try cleaning them. But the problem will be to change the ABS MODULE. its responsible for sending out wrong info when faulty.
Where did you buy them please?
@patrickwroque at the Toyota DealerShip
Speed sensor A is the blu one. De black one is the B.
Speed sensor B is Green and Speed Sensor A is Black.

Black sensor is considered speed sensor 1 or A
@@TheEtixzShow never saw it listed as A , only input and output. Please say which one will fix all the problems, I’m sick of this issue.
