GALE FORCE WINDS | Sailing the Cape of STORMS | The Southernmost Tip of Africa Ep.125

  • The fearsome coast of South Africa delivers a real challenge as we attempt to sail round Africa's southernmost tip and back into the Atlantic Ocean. The Cape of Good Hope is also known as the CAPE of STORMS and it lived up to that name, giving us big waves and gale force winds. Blasting along under storm jib alone we were in awe as we passed this major milestone on our voyage around the world and sailed into one of the most spectacular destinations we have visited.
We have been sailing around the world for 6 years after setting off from England in 2016 on board our 37ft sail boat Florence. Join us as we share the highs, lows, and challenges of travelling around the world by boat, Sailing offshore across the Oceans and exploring remote locations with our own little tiny house. Boat life out at sea on the ocean and off the grid.

Absolutely beautiful video. Stunningly vivid, charged with emotions, intense, high-wind sailing, to be played on repeat. Also, the music you have been choosing for the last few episodes is highly enjoyable.
