Hi Rick!!! I hear what you're saying.... unfortunately AI is here to stay and it will keep growing with technology. Let's hope we will be able to tell when something is "created" by a human or a computer. Anyhow the artwork, as you said is not bad, bu t feels "souless". Btw i'm also not a big fan of Priest last album cover too..... Now rock t-shirts are a complete different thing and now anybody is wearing a metal t-shirt and that's "cool" but "odd" at the same time.... cheers and be well
@@T.Saturnine 100 percent! I remember just a few albums back when they released Return of the Reaper… I was blown away by the cover! How far we’ve fallen in a short time 🫤
I’d actually argue that the cover is bad. Pull up a higher res image of it and look at it critically, look at the details. There are birds turning into branches, a skeleton and bird merged together, tons of mistakes that a human artist would never make and a band that cares about the art they put out with their music would never approve. It’s simply a bad cover, the AI is just the cherry on top.
@@KipelovCCCP That’s too funny!!! I didn’t really look at it much because I don’t like giving it the time of day… but this may call for a part 2! 🤣 Yeah that’s absolutely horrible!
i dont think you know your talk about AI are wrong in this day and age but in the future could be correct. there are 2-7 types of AI at this time sort of. to my knowledge only NARROW AI is being used at this time. it is weak . so when you say a computer just created some album cover has no soul is WRONG. what the software did was actaully just copy and paste so to speak from others work. the software didnt actaully create anything. but copying the soul of whoever made the art before. but in the future there will be AGI artificial general intelligence that is where the computer doesnt have to be trained on anything. and is thinking by itself. those would be yes souless art being generated. after thing AI goes into other types and more complicated but just to sort of keep it simple

the cover isn't bad, but it feels that there's something missing... For an AI work is good, but not good enough for Grave Digger
