  • Going low carb means you get to do cool things like roast your own garlic. Trust me, it's easy, and the results are delicious. The best thing about roasting your own garlic is you can easily store it in the freezer for use months later.

    I first want to thank you for making this video it is wonderful. I have never roasted garlic before I am 64. I love garlic and I purchased 3 pounds of organic garlic from a friend last year some to eat and some to plant to get a start growing for us. I have a few heads left after planting last fall and I just saw your video after watching your Low carb video for Tomato sauce I wanted to know how to roast some garlic. Well my garlic is done my house smells soooo good, the garlic has cooled and I just tasted some oh my it is garlic candy I think i could eat it like it is LOL I only roasted 6 heads to try it, I will be roasting more thanks again.

    I absolutely love roasted garlic. It’s like butter! But I’ve never made it... until tonight. Boy does my home smell good. However, I wished I would have watched your great video first. Forgot to peel. Thanks 4 great post.

    Great video. You're very charismatic and the recipe looks wonderful. I'm going to make it right now. I was wondering if you used foil to cover th garlic. You didn't mention it so I won't be covering mine but could you specify if your garlic goes in the oven uncovered please. Have a great day and continued success with your channel. Thank you. :)

    Once roasted, can you dehydrate the garlic and later grind into garlic powder?

    If you put them all into the same bag, how do you tell the difference between the olive oil ones and the mct ones?

      Good point. I should have used separate bags.

      They definitely would need to go in the fridge. Here's a good article that really gets into it (very short): www.wikihow.com/Store-Roasted-Garlic

    What if you don't have any MCT oil?

    • @Dot2TrotsLowCarbLiving
      @Dot2TrotsLowCarbLiving  6 років тому +2

      You can use olive oil (light not extra virgin) -- it's a good healthy fat.
