  • This is the first of two parts where I share some different methods of creating surfaces whilst highlighting the problems you may come across when modelling them if you are not careful. Also be looking at the quality of those surfaces with the zebra analysis tool.
    Part two will show a combination of features being used to make the slightly more complex geometry surrounding the ignition barrel.

    The end surface was much nicer, I would not have noticed until you pointed out how it was more uniform, thanks for posting!

      In case you are interested, part 2 just went up, this one is more about just using the simple methods together to make a more complex design feature.
      I know that you said that you won't be using surface modelling for your triple clamps, but I still hope that these videos can be of use to you somehow

    This part is more to set up and introduction to some techniques and the surface analysis tool.
