Ben Shepherd is the unsung hero of this band. This bassline goes to some weird places, and in a good, not-showing-off kind of way. Plus his songwriting contributions on other SG tunes are always really interesting (his solo album was pretty dope, too).
Dragging the bass is actually a signature of highly skilled bassists, no joke. It makes the song heavier, kinda reverberating with the drums. Robert DeLeo is another master at that.
I'm both impressed at @jkyles1000 and the other guys first for noticing he's dragging and then for them to correct and say that's actually an advanced technique.

I don't remember if it was Chris or Kim who said that Ben was the last piece of the puzzle and was responsible for Soundgarden's sound.

His timing actually drags at times and he’s sloppy. But the true human touch and feel is what makes this a great, great song.

Some really creative parts in here. I love it!
In a band loaded with creativity Ben Shepard is often overlooked but in a 4-piece each is integral to the music.
This is good, but it's not the original recording. That's if it's even Ben Shepherd playing this. Could be a cover.
