The Mincho - MISA exchange is one of the best, ever!
Watch it again, and focus in on Akane's drums during it... PERFECT! \m/
I don't have words but this band is insane. Awesome. Band Maid forever.
Pure Art eh ? YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!
Thank goodness they captured this on film, they don't do this version anymore. They love to change up their show to keep things fresh. We may never see this version live again. Nice reaction by the way!
Welcome to BAND MAID world..their music is insane.
thank you❤️あなたの reactionが1番好きです❤️次回も楽しみにしています。
Tears of joy always with the drums in crescendo at the end of the MISA - Kanami duet. Insane. A classic.
Play it again and listen to Akane (drummer). Sometimes over-looked. She's very special 🥁😍
Right On! Akane, especially during the duel, sets and maintains the pace and frame work for those 2 guitar assassins to do their thing
Akane is very special she is amazing she's also my favorite 🥰😍
I have my own Akane-sama T-shirt, which she saw last year in London.

out of all the female drummers coming from Japan, Akane is my favourite, she plays a modest kit that you would into a 200 seat bar. And than she will amaze you with her speed, accuracy, tempo changes, stops starts and pedal at up 180 BPM with her bass drum. A smile all night long. AKANE is band Maids secret weapon.
Love your reaction man!! I swear, ever since I discovered this band, they stole my heart. Misa's name is pronounced 'Mee-sa', since you weren't sure how to say her name. I personally HIGHLY recommend 'Play' live as one of my favourite songs, 'Onset' live for an instrumental and 'Take me higher' live for focus on the lead guitar player Kanami (she's my personal favourite) and the whole song is basically a solo by her. You got so much to discover my man, I wish you a nice ride!
Edit: And it really is pure art, can't agree more, their music composition is on another level. And believe me, it WILL get better, I can't remember how often I thought to myself "There's no way they can top this song" and the next song they raised the bar even higher.
When I saw this for the first time, I was shocked like you. “Omg, japanese little girls are doing amazing things!”
Pure Art describes BandMaid perfectly. Five skilled artists, all who have mastered their tools and know how to craft great masterpieces through expressing their heart and soul in what they produce. BandMaid and Babymetal are all that's on my playlist for 2020. Another great reaction, man.
On new blue ray this song had new arrengements.
Bass battle with kanami guitare is not there but intro is new and awesome with Miku solo riffs .
MIKU is nuts !!
Band maid rocks !!
There is nobody better and they sound like no other band has sounded ever. They are the best band in the world male or female. Po
Po. I laughed. Po. I'll have to start doing that on every comment I make to Band Maid vid. Po.
My favorite Band-Maid song is whichever one is currently playing.
Tell your friends, spread the word. Band-Maid.
The song, the battle and the whole thing are already out of this world. What we didn't see is, Akane is in total control of the whole stadium. She commands the intensity of the battle, and sure knows how drive the audience out of their minds.
Who won the battle? We the BANDMAID fans did.....These girls are flat out ROCK STARS.
They have toured Europe and the US, mostly to sell-out crowds. Looking for their return to LA, where they sold-out 2 nights in row. Talented doesn't describe what we see and hear. They are just damn good!!
If you like that bass from Misa, i'ts time for "Play" and "Onset" live. There will be no regrets!
The very best hard rock band on the planet today. Rock n roll precisely as it was intended. "Die for you."- Saiki
Until now, rock bass was a background instrument. In jazz, the bass is often out front, and here you see the jazz influence on this band. But it takes an extraordinary musician to pull this off. Thanks for the reaction! btw, this is not really metal--maybe borderline, but it's almost jazz-rock.
Thanks again. I'm sure you fell in love with them. Thier live performance is always like this. Because of the corona virus, it's sorry that we cannot see them in live houses for more months.
Pure perfection, isn't it? Band-Maid is a world treasure.
I think this song has the best back and forth with Misa and Kanami! Thanks for reacting to them, enjoyed it!
this band is at the top of there game love it
🤘🤘❤️🤘🤘 MISA MISA MISA!!!! 🤘🤘
Regarding being live, some might suggest it's "live", because it's through a mixing desk, and there could have been some post-production on it etc. Well, here's that same song recorded live in London last year *on a phone* ua-cam.com/video/JZIelkrmPQw/v-deo.html and it's clear they wouldn't have needed to do a lot (other than the crowd's singing) going by this. I would also suggest just having a quick watch of the official video for this, as it's one of their better ones.
Thank you! I didnt know this clip.
I can vouch for them. I was there up in the balcony at islington. Best 2 hours of my live.
Definitely one of their masterpieces live
Thanks Alex!
This song is so damn good! BAND-MAID
Great reaction Alex, I expect more reactions from BAND-MAID. I can only tell you to prepare yourself because the best is yet to come, you can easily make a top 40 of the best BAND-MAID songs. I'd like you to react to this song "Onset" by BM ua-cam.com/video/roP4HFlGBUI/v-deo.html it's great.
This version of "Don't You Tell me" is arguably there best work, too many people under appreciate how amazing that call and receive battle is from a technical standpoint. That (I can't believe she's following me note for note) look on Kanami's face says it all. If you want to see Misa doing more cool shit the tapping intro (with Kanami) and her slap intro for "Turn me On" are pretty sick. If you are wondering, more specifically if they could be possibly better from a pure instrumentation standpoint than this song, all I have to say is you haven't even gotten to one of the instrumentals yet...
Freedom "live" I've never seen drumming like it!!
These girls are BAD-ASS !!!!!!!!!!!!!! , you need to do PLAY ( Live ) ,and ONSET (Live) , Great Reaction also , Rock and Roll will never died with bands like this : )
The trouble I have is picking their best songs, as they have around 40 best songs 😃🤟
If you like the back and forth between MISA and Kanami on this one, listen to "Take Me Higher" another song with a great back and forth between them. MISA has some bass slapping skills on this one. It was the first song I heard from them and was hooked. ua-cam.com/video/vFyYiPDZzdw/v-deo.html
In mi opinion, Japan it's killin it with this female rock and metal bands!!!. If you are interested, theres is Female fronted japanese power metal band called UNLUCKY MORPHEUS, the song "Knight of Sword" its awesome! I would love you react to them! Thanks for the reactions!
nice reaction! keep digging ;) all of their live songs are the best ones, even they perfomed the same song, they always have some parts different arrangements.
Another great reaction man...I've turned almost totally to Japanese bands for modern music....There's just so much musical information packed in there....Pure audio JOY!!!!!!!...I'm a huge Band Maid fan, They have a powerful and emotional effect on their followers....Check out Li=sa=X Band 'One More Chance is Enough' for some more incredible guitar and vocals....15 year old guitar wizard....Just amazing
I'm sure they're going to do a world tour at some point, try to make sure you follow their website/FB etc to find out when they do. Probably soon after all this has boiled over :)
I mean they already did year ago or so, they went to London and to the States at least.
Just receve the email that UA-cam blocked the last reaction to band maid that I did yesterday sorry guys I will try to dispute but ....
All of them are incredibly and of course the solos are amazing. The drummer, Akane is still my favorite. 😉Always hate I see so little of her in the videos. She is crazy, fast, technical with fills and all over the place. On top of that a lovely smile, while hitting like a monster 😀
*Alex* , Here is a link to the Band Members Name / Info: ua-cam.com/video/pYufMaaDBMM/v-deo.html
*Miku Kobato* (Kuruppo) = Vocals / Rhythm Guitar po!
*Saiki Atsumi* (Sai-Chan) = Vocals
*Kanami Tono* (Kanamincho) = Lead Guitar
*Akane Hirose* (A-Chan) = Drummer
*MISA* (MISA, MISA, MISA) = Bass
*3 Reactions down and 37 Reactions to go! 😉*
Insomnium - Pale Morning Star. That is beatiful song.
Miku (MEE-koo): guitar/vocals. Saiki (SA-ee-kee): vocals. Kanami (KAH-nah-mee): lead guitar. MISA (MEE-sa, MEE-sa, MEE-sa): bass. Akane (AH-ka-neh): drums.
Closer would be: (ah-KAH-neh), actually.
@@markdzima I always believed there's typically no stress at all on syllables in Japanese, but that's kind or hard to portray in written form.
@@markdzima Everybody had their take, so I went to a Japanese language teacher in JAPAN. Quite the eye-opening experience. Lots of little rules depending on each words intended use. Best, most simple rule, is "one vowel per syllable" rule.
🎵I'm learning Japanese🎵I think I'm learning Japanese🎵I really think so🎵

@@POWER-LINKS I did only give one vowel per syllable, if you check it. And I'd say that if you are going to put an "h" after the first "a", then you should put an "h" after the second "a" as well, because those "a"'s are pronounced the same. But mainly I'm saying that if you are going to stress a syllable, it shouldn't be the first syllable. Either none of the syllables are stressed (which is what online guides seem to favor), or -- strictly from my own ignorant ear having listened to how the name is pronounced in Japanese-language anime -- the second syllable can be slightly stressed. But not the first syllable... I read that when a non-Japanese audience chanted "Akane" stressing the first syllable it bothered Akane so much that she corrected their pronunciation.
@@markdzima Which is why I went to a Japanese language instructor, from Japan, in Japan. These were the pronunciations that he gave me as Japanese language accurate. Doesn't explain iine {ee-nay}, though. lol Damn, more rules.
Nice!!🤙🤙
I love akane.... 😍
nice misa!
Next one ONEST
Onset live in tokio...instrumental...is .......
Rock is safe with BANDMAID
Nope, sorry. It doesn't get any better than that. That's what happens when you start at the top. That was the Mother of all Battles! But there are some other Call & Repose "Battles". Check out 'Take Me Higher' LIVE. Aslo check out the Live version of 'Domination' they did at Shibuya this year on Valentine's Day. The sound isn't as good as this, but the performance is great. And the sound on the Music Video for that song is really low on the volume anyway, so you really had to crank it. There is another LIVE version of it with better sound, but the performance at Shibuya is much more intense.
Yes Sir. Japanese power houses. This is only one of about 17 female bands at the present.
MISA MISA MISA!
LLOLGreetings from North Germany!
"Non-Fiction Days" live...nothing better.
Nice Angry Joe! More Bando-Maid please kuruppo! /,,/
Ha Meytal Cohen playin In back round
"Take Me Higher!!" (LIVE) also has some good call-and-response action between Misa (bass) and Kanami (lead guitar), with Misa doing a lot of slapping-the-bass.
ua-cam.com/video/vFyYiPDZzdw/v-deo.html
Try take me highre from band maid
Clang live. ua-cam.com/video/29IxKhFFSwA/v-deo.html Audience recording with so so sound but you'll get to see them up close and if you love to watch Misa you'll love the beginning. Actually, the sound isn't horrible, just not professional. There's a raw edge to this performance you miss in the big venues. ENJOY.
ok, i got a couple for you. if you want straight up rock try a band called "ningen isu listen to their song heartless scat" if you want strange yet wonderful try a band called "wagakki band...anything by them"
If you enjoy these bass - guitar conversations please react to Band-Maid in Paris “Clang”. It’s an in your face fancam by the excellent Olivier Robelot. ua-cam.com/video/29IxKhFFSwA/v-deo.html
It's so good the wookie to the left of the screen is raising his arm.
I've been to quite a few hard rock concerts, but BAND-MAID has stuck out as a whole. If you have a chance to go to a live concert, you have to go.
React to Play live. Barefoot assassin's song ;)
Pls.Pls do react to "TriDent" song "continue"
Junna the drummer of this band is no.1 in Japan.🔥🙏🏻❣️❣️❣️❣️ All girls.
You bet it gets better and beyond! Check out their instrumental track ONSET. ua-cam.com/video/roP4HFlGBUI/v-deo.html
The new 2020 performance of “Play” and “Freedom” are even better but it might be hard to find them. You can check out “Domination” from the same concert on their official UA-cam channel.
You dont need to know japanese to enjoy this good music
Spoiler alert!!
They can do better than this..
