Thanks! Yes this fugue is actually a whole lot harder than it looks on the page, haha. It is seriously a 4-voice fugue for the majority of the fugue - a lot of the 4-voice fugues are mostly just 3-voice, with a couple 4-voice spots...
he actually has four tiny elves living in his piano rent free, they just have to sing for his channel, i mean these apartment prices are crazy who can blame em
There's also the theme coming in the Tenor (E minor). This overlapping of themes is called stretto and in this fugue there are many more than the one you outlined. This fugue is also known as "Stretto Fugue"!
I finally finished learning it, it was harder than I thought😂, it took me some time to learn it, well done! I like this channel because it almost has everything that I need!!!
@@DeeCeeHaich This is can be maybe exercise for understand and fingering. He can get a better result by combining the parts that he did not play later.
Just a tip for sight reading: don't look at your fingers, just the score. That way you can focus on the notes rather than having to glance down every few seconds. Only look when you have some big jumps or smth
Try to draw the colors in the video on the musical notes on the sheet I swear it works because you can clearly see the 4 voices divided and it comes more easy to learn ❤ also you can improve by doing one voice at a time and then adding them together im making so much progress so rapidly;)
My teacher's making me study this fugue! She said she'll check on me once in a blue moon so I'm going to practice this. Wish me luck. If any of you have tips for this piece, please do share :D
loved it. Bach's fugues are so amazing and you played it really well. Wish i could play one of his fugues, but this'll take some effort and time for me, i just have been playing for 1 year and the hardest piece that i can play is the etude op 10 no 4 :/
@@SeeMusicPiano yess this etude it is really hard, i just learned it as a beginner cause it's my favorite of the set. Thx, I'm going work on the fugue later, by now I'm finishing the etude op 10 no 11 and working on some two part inventions for help me in the fugues in the future. thx a lot keep it up with the good work :) (oh, and sorry for the bad English :/)
Hi, great video. I'm trying to learn this piece but keep seeing it fingered differently in each video. I've noted in bar 6 in beat 2 you've omitted the G in the tenor. Was this an artistic choice?
The prelude's real easy but once you get to fugues like this, it's a nightmare! Well done!

Oh yeah!! I’m trying to learn it right now!
It already looked impossible on the page 😭😭😭@@SeeMusicPiano
Great rendition ! I really like how you higlight the counterpoint with different colours.
Thank you!! That's definitely what I was going for :)
I’m not even joking this is one of the best renditions I’ve ever heard. The voicing is so clear and precise! Love it!

I'm amazed by this passage at 0:39 where the main theme comes simultaneously in C from the left hand and in G from the right hand. Breathtaking.
Answer in G and subject in C
There's a lot more where that came from :)

I like the color choices on this video
j k thanks! I was trying to show the four different voices in the fugue :)
@@SeeMusicPianoAnd thank you so much because I'm learning it thanks to your color division!❤
that‘s almost on paul bartons level!! please continue with bach, you can absolutely play it masterfully
@TheTage Show hmm, I think Glenn Gould is the master of Bach. Listen this fugue from him. Absolutely wonderful:)
@TheTage Show wow, he's really good:)

Brilliant! Not only do you play exceptionally well, but this video is invaluable because you made it so we can visualize each voice!
Amazing! Can you do more of Bach's Well Tempered Clavier??
I basically finished the prelude and I was, "ahh very nice, easy" turned the page and it was a nightmare
4 voices
You could cheat like I did for a while and cut out one or 2 voices
deal with it
@@SoggySandwich80 that sounds like garbage
@@DeeCeeHaich the whole fugue would sound like garbage when one or two of the voices it is made of sounds like garbage

amazing work with the voice colorings, and love the use of electric piano sound, fits bach so well!
Amazing visualisation, I had been trying to do this in my head and failing with this fugue. Please do more WTC!
Those staccato notes are interesting, don’t think I’ve heard it played that way before - very nice. Damn hard to play!
love ur channel! keep going i feel u are about to get big from now on
Man, you can recognize Bach from miles away. At first I didn't read the title.
your rendition is so nice
it sounds like bubbles/water
:D
Put your digital piano setting on harpsichord and give this a go! Well done.. Now I'm going to go try and figure out how to play this.
Haha I’m crying at the 5th bar. My progress has been 3 bars a week. F me :-(

Muy creativo como siempre. Qué chido.
Insane strettos

Oh lord, please give me four brains four pairs of hands.
No you need 2 brains and 2 hands
C should be C sharp at 1:10
Yup
it's crazy to see how such small error like this can change the feeling of a fugue by so much
Nice catch, I didn’t realize that right away when I was learning this so I can understand the error

Surely if played on the organ, crotchet closer to 68 bpm is more beautiful , gentle and appropriate..
Rather than 125 bpm being played on the piano.
My piano teacher said now that we finished prelude we gonna learn the fugue and i innocently said yeah of course. Little did i know…
Is it made on seemusic software/app or adobe after effects?

About fingerings, stick to your own personal preference, as long as you keep to it and its practical
my brain is melting...and so was probably yours..
