Hello! I love your videos! Here's the easy way to do what you are describing. In the ML Prefs Menu, go into customize buttons, assign the INFO Button to Zoom x10. Exit the ML Menu. You will then be able to toggle Zoom with the Info button and focus from there! Also, AF works even better when you are recording in 14bit mode. (If you are using the Danne Custom version, the Customized buttons are located in the Movie Menu) Cheers.
Yes, I noticed that the af is not reliable and I completely switched to MF (with focus peaking), but this way the AF seems to work well (checked on 15-45mm and 24 Ef with meike adapter). Thank you.
there is an old build of magic lantern for EOS-M that continuous auto focus works on, i'm not sure why it stopped working after this build, and it pre dates crop mood, so you won't get any of the new features in crop mood. But the firmware is Dannes build crop_rec_4k_mlv_snd_raw_only_2021Jun26.EOSM202 If you load this firmware onto a spare SD card, just hot swap it with your crop mood card and you're good for auto focus lenses and continuous auto focus. Make sure in the settings to enable "small hacks" and select "af on" then restart the camera, make sure in the canon menu that AF is enabled, and make sure servo af is on, you may have to play with some settings, but it does work! I normally only shoot 1080 mode in this.
So you partner the iphone 15 for wide and the eos m for what focal length? I really enjoy this perspective I have the 12 pro max but I definitely would get the 15 pro max if this works together nicely 😮 do you recommend this

What a great tip! Manual focus is sometimes hard, especially in low light. I'll start using this focus magic.

Same technique that I usually use but not possible with a gimbal o handheld stabilizer. Different story with Dannes build and autofocus

Yes if you press the info button it cycles through the gui!
