I don't do video with anything other than my cell phone... but.. for my EOS M stills I use an EF-M 11-22/4-5.6...cheap and rugged plus no adapters needed.

would you recommend mi10 pro or a mi10 ultra - mosty for the ultra-wide angle shots? I wish to use it with McPro24 and MotionCam App ? - Ultra wide angle is my priority. maybe 11 ultra ? it has 1/2 inch UWA sensor.. not sure about it's properties thou and real FOV. angle. I wish you tested oppo x3pro , or OnePlus9 pro with insane UWA lens. (1.5 inch) UWA .

One of my very favorite lenses. I got my M in a kit with the 90EX flash, EF-M18-55 and the 22mm. It's a little slow, but I love that camera and the lenses that came with it. Usually I use the flash to fire off camera flash if I use it.

i know this is too late for this, but does anyone can help? I just bought this ttartisan 35mm for my eos m and I'm having a hard time to set the perfect exposure. The exposure on the lcd vs after the shot. Why doesn't seem not the same? 🙁 sorry but how can I explain this😭pls help, badly want to use it asap☹

Awesome to see this video. I just picked up an eosM and kit lens for €150. I mainly want it as a pocket/travel camera. Lots online about the video, of course but very few people talking about the photo capabilities. Do you loose raw photo ability with magic lantern?

there is an old build of magic lantern for EOS-M that continuous auto focus works on, i'm not sure why it stopped working after this build, and it pre dates crop mood, so you won't get any of the new features in crop mood. But the firmware is Dannes build crop_rec_4k_mlv_snd_raw_only_2021Jun26.EOSM202 If you load this firmware onto a spare SD card, just hot swap it with your crop mood card and you're good for auto focus lenses and continuous auto focus. Make sure in the settings to enable "small hacks" and select "af on" then restart the camera, make sure in the canon menu that AF is enabled, and make sure servo af is on, you may have to play with some settings, but it does work! I normally only shoot 1080 mode in this.

Dude! "The lens i used was the Bosch and Lomb Anamorphic 2x Cinema Scope lens. " Is it a 16mm or a 35mm projector lens? My guess is 35mm. What about the light leaks you are seeing from the front shot?

You should learn to move your lips when you talk. Otherwise your video looks out of sync.

I have the 32mm but considering this 22mm for travel. I find one online abt $120 second hand should i take it ? Or just stick to the 32mm ?

It's actually more than 13 stops of dynamic range (~13.4-13.7 EV) with dual ISO enabled at 100/3200. You can see your real time dynamic range readout vary with your ISO settings if you enable the "Dynamic Range" setting in the"RAW EV Indicator" under the histogram settings in Magic Lantern settings. (recommended with RAW, RGB, Log histogram turned ON).

I just bought this lens and I'm waiting for it to be delivered, I did it mostly for low light performance in video for my YT Chanel, however I just saw a video stating that this lens is pretty bad for video, please notice that most of my videos are with the camera on a tripod or a gimbal, so IS is not such a big deal for me. How would you rate it's preformance in low light video compared to the kit lens?

I think the camera does well for what it is, then again I shot film for 40+ years before digital came out, so my expectations may not be that high. I generally just shoot on S (standard) and don't really edit a whole lot, same with the older yet 40d which can be had for under $100 now I think.

make more sence when you shoot greenscreen for example to use 14 Bit

Hey. I have the same setup. I changed the mount to EF mount but whenever i tried to attached it to my EOS M with the same vitrox speed booster that you’re using, my camera doesn’t work properly. The appeture jumps from f3.5 to f00. Have you encountered this issue before? My eos m is running on firmware 2.0.3. Looking forward to hear from you 😮
