Hey mom
Slash is the guy with the big hair on the guitar and Axl Rose is the lead singer. Try Paradise City next!
I second that request
🐐🙌⚡SLA$H⚡🙌🐐THA💯%GAWD🎸#WHODEY 🐯🌹🤘#QUEENcityHEAT 👸🏼🔥🐻 #BearcatsFB 🐱
Noooooooo not Paradise City.
I don't know if they're quite ready for that.
I third it! Paradise City!!!
Slash's guitar solos are everything! Axl's voice is definitely unique.. Love GNR
GNR absolutely killed it with their debut album. Sweet Child O Mine, Welcome to the Jungle, and Paradise City got all the radio play but, it's widely considered one of the best rock albums of the 80s.
One of the greatest albums ever
One of the greatest songs ever written. Timeless. Always brings a smile to my face
Appetite for destruction album is a front to back listen. Every song is good!!
Axl Rose was on a different planet vocally, even more special live, just pure energy
Saw them a few weeks ago axl’s voice isn’t quite the same as it was but shit on biscuit and swallow it while he’s still a great performer
My cousins were older and I remember hearing when they would come home from concerts!!!! Man I’ve lost 1 so this music keeps me close!!! And to such great memories!!!
@@matthewsmith8727 it just amazes me some of them how long their vocal cords even handled it cause I know folks NOWADAYS CANT LAST!!!! Some are just extra special and yeah I know TOTALLY DIFFERENT But Shania Twain SAME THING BUT STILL WAS AMAZING IN VEGAS!!!!!! Just kinda sad in a way BUT AT LEAST WE HAD THEM AT THEIR BEST!!!!! Others didn’t!!!! I remember my 1st Linkin Park concert!!! Then jump years later to meeting SOOOOOOOOOOO MANY GREATS when I went to work at Peavey Electronics oh wow……NAAM WAS AMAZING and all the concerts I got back stage passes too and hearing aids in my 40’s 🙈🙈
There isn’t a bad song on that album but definitely try Paradise City, Rocket Queen and Nightrain next.
You have to include Welcome To The Jungle on any GnR recommendation.
@@thescourgeofathousan I don’t disagree with you but I knew everybody would recommend it hence why I mentioned Rocket Queen and Nightrain. Reactors rarely do those.
Nightrain is my personal fav. Good recommendations
Rocket queen for sure.
💯🤘✌🙌
Fun fact: The "where do we go now" line at the end was actually Axl asking the band how do we finish the song because during the writing of the song they had yet to come up with an ending. Not coming up with a better way to end this masterpiece the "where do we go now" line stayed in the final cut.
🌟"Welcome To The Jungle" up next...
Axl (lead singer) has a 6 octave range. That's incredible! Fun fact: When Axl & a friend got off the bus in Harlem, New York, a homeless man spotted him and yelled to him 'Welcome to the jungle, baby! You're gonna die!" 🤣 Of course, he used that in the song.
🌟After that "Novemeber Rain". It's a masterpiece. Slash has a searing guitar solo. Don't miss it!
Been a metal head all my life. Slash has some of the most melodic, well written, complex and thoughtful guitar solos you will ever hear. Epic!
Slash will always be my favorite guitarist. I’d suggest y’all check a song by them called “yesterdays”. It’s a really chill song and I’d say it’s one of their most under appreciated songs that deserves more attention
Axl Rose, the leadsinger was my first love! LOL I'm dead serious. He broke my heart when I saw the "November rain" video, where he married a super-model. LOL I cried like a baby. Crazy memories! 😄
Lol same
I was in high school when this album dropped and it swept through like a hurricane! They were so huge from jump street. This song is one of their most popular.
Others that I highly recommend you check out :
Welcome to the Jungle
Civil War
Mr. Brownstone (my personal favorite)
You Could Be Mine
Mr Brownstein and Civil War!!
GNR was on top of the world back in the day. You should check welcome to the jungle. It was their first single and was the introduction to them for most people, classic!
Yeah they blew up the actual switch board at MTV after the debut at like 3 am in Sunday morning.
It's so easy was their first single at least in the uk
@@inkoinfinity2 definitely Welcome to the jungle was the first hit, in US anyway
Axl Rose is the lead singer and happens to be from Lafayette, Indiana. I remember one of my best friends in high school picking up a GNR album while we were shopping at a record store, and telling me how great they were--because she was a metal head who knew all the rock bands, and GNR hadn't hit it big yet. Within just short time though, I heard this song on the radio and I was hooked. We had a lot of "hair bands" in the 80s, but GNR was the first group that felt like a "rock band" that happened to sport long hair. Yes, the band was DIFFERENT. Axl's voice, Slash's guitar playing, and a catalog of fantastic songs made for a true meteoric rise to fame back when you had to work hard for it, before the internet, youtube, etc. PLEASE REACT TO MORE! Cheers.
Video line up…
Axl Rose: Vocals
Slash: Lead Guitar
Duff McKagan: Bass
Izzy Stradlin: Rhythm Guitar
Steven Adler: Drums
All of Appetite For Destruction is essential.
Pretty much everything on Use Your Illusion I & Use Your Illusion II is great and Chinese Democracy is very underrated.
I agree with you about Chinese Democracy
If a song can bring a smile to your face or a tear to your eyes, then
the writer and singer have done their job to leave a lasting memory in
your soul you will always remember. Great song and video.
GNR all songs are Fire! "Knockin On Heavens Door" LIVE in TOKYO 1992
Axl Rose is from Indiana and grew up singing in the church.
I was 16 yrs old when they released this album n they took the world by storm. Been in my top 3 bands ever since....with Tesla and AC/DC
tesla, a great underrated band
@@capoditutticapos19 I wish more people would react to Tesla. They have no clue what theyre missing.
They're different cuz they're the best that's why. You'll see why if you dig into them deeper and if you check out their live stuff Paradise City from the Freddie Mercury tribute concert. Rocket Queen in Tokyo 1992. If you want to see how good Axl Rose is not just as a singer but on the piano check out November rain from Tokyo 1992. Beastie! But yeah you can play anything from appetite from for destruction
The two guitarists in the band were Slash and Izzy, Izzy was the guy waving his arm in a circle and Slash was the guy with the Curley hair and a Top hat. Fun fact. Slash is black, I thought I would point it our because you don't see too many black folks in rock. Gotta give them repsect when you see em
Slash is mixed race. He was born in Stoke, England. His mother is African American and his dad is from London
@@marcwarren5985 Yes, I know but he identifies as a black man. Like Obama
He identifies as black so we call him America's first black president and not the first mixed race president
@@gamexsimmonds3581 So you are one of those "one drop -rule" types?
@@FrancoUnAmericano No I am not but it seems the rest on the world is. I think if someone is biracial they should be able to identify as they please. But society seems to tell us that if if you are half black then you are black, if a half black person goes around introducing themselves as white most people look at them funny. And there is a whole lot of history as too why that happens but that is too deep of a conversation for a UA-cam comment section
@@marcwarren5985 Like he said, he's black. Black people live in London too.
The lead singer is Axl Rose...Now you guys gotta react to Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, Patience, November Rain....
I used to walk through factories building GM trucks in the 1990s that played this song. The beat makes a great work song as well. Great times.
My old friend from 1st grades’ mom used to play this for us when she’d pick us up after school to hang. Ronda you were the greatest 🔥 we were 7 years old jamming to this. one of the best solos ever too 🙌🏽
Thank goodness for Moms like her(and me). Always broaden your children's musical horizon. Puts joy in their hearts
@@claireburling8547 Absolutely. She was a military wife so she was into all that music, gnr along with ac/dc, led zeppelin, rolling stones and motley crue and what not 🙌🏽 thank you moms!!
More from GnR: Welcome To The Jungle, Paradise City, Night Train, Patience, Mr Brownstone
Yo, this band is one of the most all around talented bands y’all will hear 👂! Slash is one of the best guitar players of all time!! 🤘🏼
Check out Welcome to the Jungle and I used to love her by Guns and Roses. Axl Rose is the singer and Slash is who shreds on guitar.
Can’t tell me AxL Rose don’t be killing those leather pants. Side note y’all gotta do Iron Maiden Hallowed be thy name
Axl Rose is the lead singer, Slash on leaf guitar... Guns N Roses are by far my favorite band! Their Appetite for Destruction album is 🔥 🔥🔥 Not 1 bad song! Try Welcome to the Jungle & Paradise City next😁🎶❤
Im 46 years old now and i grew up with Guns N' Roses and i loved the smile you both got on Slash his guitar solo.....it did when i was younger.
Huh this is the first Guns N Roses tune you ever heard??? You guys are in for some treats with this group
One of my favorite songs ever. Never gets old.
His voice hard core. This song always reminded me of my own sweet child blue eyed and blonde, who grew up to be a grey eyed dark auburn beauty. You ought to try "Welcome to the jungle".
Appetite for destruction is a Non-Stop banger with many classic songs on it
November rain
Every Friday and Saturday nights all over the USA small bands close with a guitar solo of this song and it always leaves the crowd gone wild!
after slashes solo axel is literally just like where do we go now bc it was so good and he didn’t even what do anymore 😭😭😭
There is not a bad song in Appetite for Destruction. Slash is dope and this band was amazing.
That guitar solo never gets old no matter how many times you hear this song
November rain by Guns and Roses. Do it!!!!
Wholeheartedly agree but please don’t pause in the guitar solos !!
@@LordRahl1975 he has addressed that before and stated this is a reaction channel and this is what they do pause, analyze. Not trying to be mean but if you want to watch the the video without pause, just watch the original
@@EVERLYNFRIENDS Thank you for the absolutely pointless response. I am well aware it is a reaction. I want pauses to tell us what he thinks. Just not in the guitar solos as that interrupts the experience for HIM!
@@LordRahl1975 I'm quite sure he can replay the video
@@EVERLYNFRIENDS I am quite sure he could just listen to the solo as the original artist intended. Especially as there is no guarantee he will listen again. Asking for no pauses during the guitar solo really isn’t controversial. It is something probably 95% of people would agree with. Not sure why this is something you are arguing over. Bizarre.
When he sings “now and then when you see her face” it always shows who’s felt true pain before in their eyes..
Absolutely love Guns N Roses !! 🥀
Thank you guys for this reaction 🥰
~You have to check out “Welcome to the Jungle” by this band, you will love it !!
People thought Gibson was dead. And then came Slash, les paul in hand, single-handedly saved the entire Gibson line.
This is so far the best video I have seen of you guys. I love Guns 'n Roses, but it was beautiful to see you together so relaxed and happy, alhamdullilah
Thank you ! 🙏💯
It’s the combo of Axel’s voice and Slashes guitar 🎸 that makes GnR so great 🤘🏼
Yeah coz everytime Axl goes off Slash shreds harder.
@@EVERLYNFRIENDS that’s right, I have seen a lot of bands in my day but never got to see them:( tragic;}>🤘🏼
@@brandonhurt7980 same here
@@EVERLYNFRIENDS I don’t know why I never thought to do it, but I’m going to put my picture by my name as well;}>🤘🏼 I’m not as pretty as you though;}> what’s the best show you ever seen?
@@EVERLYNFRIENDS I live right behind the house of blues in North Myrtle Beach. 🏝 Since moving here, I’ve seen Rob Zombie there, Marilyn Manson, Black Label Society, “which is my favorite” dirty heads, & sublime;}> Having a House of Blues in youre back yard is pretty cool. Other than that, I’ve been to a couple of Ozzfest, but the most amazing show I ever seen was Rage Against the Machine in Knoxville TN!! 60 thousand people, no seats;}> I still get goosebumps thinking about the energy in that crowd;}>
Guns ‘n Roses - Paradise City (Live at the Ritz ‘88)
They hit it HARD 🤘😎🤘
Omg they are so wild at the Ritz!!
GnR in their prime. Live at the Ritz is one of the best concerts of all time caught on film.
Axl Rose , Slash and Duff Mckagen are still touring and GNR is selling out stadiums and big arenas to this day ! They play almost a three hour show and still rock it as hard today as they did 30 years ago !
Out Ta Get Me and You're Crazy off this album really show off his vocal skills
Love this song...been lovin it for a long time. Nobody can sing like Axl Rose!!
If this album was the only music they ever recorded they would still belong in the R&R hall of fame! Every song is fire!
I had a boyfriend in '89 that would sing this at the top of his lungs in the car. He was actually pretty good. Miss those days.
You gotta react to their song trilogy in order 1. Don’t cry 2. November rain and 3. Estranged
AND SONG " PATIANCE" IS NICE AND EASY AND AXEL ROSE SINGING SLOW SONG FANTASTIC! SO THEY ARE GREAT BAND IN THAT TIME!!
My condolences to you Robin and your family. And y'all keep up the good work reckless y'all are doing it then good man I'm telling you throw my boy hops in on some tracks please I'm begging LOL
Thank you
No problem losing anyone is rough and it sucks I almost passed away a year and a half ago I was in a coma and had three heart attacks because I have a rare autoimmune disease and I thought I was gone and then I just lost my grandma 2 months ago been a rough two years for me but we're all here for you to support you reckless family
@@jasonevolboypierce1504 please accept my condolences and thank you do much. Yes i love our Reckless family
GNR album "Appetite For Destruction" unseated Boston self titled album "Boston" as the greatest debut album of all time. Excellent album, y'all! However, you have to consider Boston was '76 & GNR was '87. For my money, I still say Boston wins.
Van Halen 1 unseated Boston then AFD
Jack Black school of rock. Slash the guitarist is featured on the Mishael Jackson song Beat It and Black and White. Also Axel Rose can get higher than Mariah Carey.
Guns N Roses were from Hollywood, Cali... they were 5 guys who always got into trouble. In 1987, this first album 'Appetite for destruction' would go on to sell 17 million copies in the US...
Unfortunately, the band fell apart after the realease of the two 'Use your illusion' albums in 1991 & about 6 yrs as the world's biggest rock band, brought down by 1996 w/ infighting, drugs and egos...
The original GNR here was the best:
W. Axl Rose (lead vocals), Slash (lead guitar), Izzy Stradlin (rhythm guitar), Duff McKagan (bass) & Steven Adler (drums)
In 2016, GNR (mainly singer Axl Rose) finally reunited w/ Slash & Duff McKagan to tour worldwide (Stradlin & Adler were not asked back ☹️) and used session musicians.
Fun fact: Their singer Axl Rose has the Guinness world record for the biggest vocal range. If you hit them again you should check out Civil War.
Civil War is right for these times
Robin so sorry for your loss. Prayers to you and your family. Love this song one of my favorite bands. ❤
Jack black school of rock
In 1990, GnR was accepting some American Music Awards live on TV and the dude with the big hat was dropping all kinds of f bombs live on TV. Good times. You can find the video on UA-cam.
Axel Rose is the singer and Slash is the lead guitarist. They have next level talent bro. Slash is a guitar God!
Straight facts brother! I don't care what no one says, Slash is in a league of his own! He's the reason I play guitar.
Hello i am french excuse me for my bad english, but look guns n' roses in live please. Energy, performance, vocals, it 's so good!
Look civil war live concert in france for exemple and many other songs. The live in tokyo on 1992 is incredible, including sweet schild o' mine.
Best years in live is 89-92.
Yessir…..Guns N Roses is straight 🔥Axl Roses voice is so good and Slash be shredding that guitar!!!
Now u have to do Dead or Alive and Living on a prayer by Bon Jovi 😉
Y’all talkin bout Jack Black
Are you ready for this train to go down this rabbit hole? Don't get it twisted...love this song but its one of their romantic joints.
This band sings about the streets. Try "Paradise City", "NIghtrain", "Welcome to the Jungle", "Mr. Brownstone "(crack),
"Out to get me" or another uber-love ballad "November Rain" Rock 'n roll Hall of Fame band for a reason. Love the react!
Paradise City from Guns n Roses is a real rocking song, the official video is amazing. They kick ass. ..this one is more mellow
I love guns an roses 🌹 and Poison fire 🔥!!!!
Condolences Robin and great choice.
Ty so much
Y'all got to do Paradise City from the Freddie Mercury tribute concert! Awesome
The guitarist is SLASH !!!!
“Welcome to the Jungle” “Paradise City”
These boys can bring it their first album appetite for destruction just blows me away great reaction dive into their rabbit hole
Slash was on Rihanna's Rockstar. And Axl Rose was unique and beautiful back in the day.
The lead singer Axl Rose and the rhythm guitar player Izzy Stradlin are both from Lafayette Indiana.
Patients is one of my favorites from them. It's definitely different but a great song. Love your reactions.
One of my all time favorite go to albums when I need an infusion of straight up in your face ROCK N ROLL, just now subscribed to your channel, keep up the good vibes! 👍***
Your identical smiles during Slash's solo was wonderful :D :D
Paradise City should be your next track from these guys!!! It's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!
There are quite a few Guns N' Roses classics to react to. And I agree with all of the suggestions that have already been recommended Like "Mr Brownstone" "November Rain" "Knockin On Heavens Door" Ext... But I'm also going to suggest a few of their more "CONTROVERSIAL" songs. First "I Used To Love Her"... Second and probably their most controversial and offensive song "One In A Million". In fact Guns N' Roses were banned from performing at an Aids benefit concert because they found the song so offensive. If you do a reaction to it. You can Google the story behind it and why Axl Rose wrote it
God Axl was gorgeous in his prime. Luuuv this song! Great reaction 🎉
Forget the drugs and scandals AXL is a legend of rock music and Guns N Roses are still ROCKSTARS today!!!!
You guys have to check out "Paradise City" the music video! 😊
ngl, this is my favourite reaction channel atm. no cap
You want to hear a fantastic band from the eighties with one of the most powerful voices from the eighties. Listen to "skid row" ( I remember you) or (18 in life)
As soon as he said, “They different.” She smirked and gave it all up
Otherwise please blink 3 times
I had always thought "Sweet Child O Mine" was written by Axelle for his baby daughter. But apparently I was wrong..
Rocket queen and its so easy
So crazy how Axl is having actual his sex with the Steven girl because he wanted real sex sounds.
Rection live guns n roses
It blows my mind that some people have never heard of Guns and Roses or Axel Rose. I’m not a huge hip hop fan and I don’t consider myself a music buff by any means, but I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of all the prolific hip hop artists from the 80s and 90s.
November Rain is one the most epic G&R songs. You need to check that out
You got to keep checking them out live. Every band should check them out live to learn how to do it. Put on a show not just stand up there and sing. Paradise City from the Freddy Mercury tribute concerts a great one! Rocket Queen from Tokyo 1992. And then the jam is coma from Chicago in 1992. They're the best because they can rock out and then they got a lot of slow jams like November rain / estranged / don't cry. But if you want to rock out play anything from appetite for destruction it's awesome go down that rabbit hole I think you guys will agree One of the best bands ever if not the best. Axl Rose is a singer and slash is on the guitar best combo ever in my opinion
All guns songs are great
You can imagine a time before the internet there was a kid named Jack who loved Eddie Van Halen and Slash. Kids used to play guitar to try to be awesome. It was the way out besides military for most folk.
TRY TO HEAR AND SEE, BEFORE NOVEMBER RAIN GUN'S N ROSES TRY TO SEE AND HEAR THE SOLO FROM SLASH IN SONG CALLED " ESTRANGED"! THAT IS FANTASTIC SPECIALL!!
In 1984 Bruce Springsteen sang a song. In 1987, GNR started rock/metal.
One of the best guitar solos ever…
Bangers upon bangers
That's Axl he's top 2 Rock voices of all time period
Check out Skid Row - I Remember You, 80's rock was one of the biggest genres ever during that time, im glad you are going beyond your musical back ground, much respect on a level where we aint been yet. awesome
