Ofcourse the bike looks good with Kate sat on it 6:50. But otherwise, for people 6ft and above, you just look like a clown riding a kids bike. The same goes for most middle weights. @@Inked_CR sad to hear, I've had a KTM 1090 for 2 years and not a single issue even once, maybe quality has went down
This Cfmoto build 790 engine has reached 50000km in 1 year.

"Nicer with a bit more rear up" Chops, what are you saying......
I’ve always wanted 95 Chinese horses 😎👍
Clutch problems again 😂
it's strong bike and happinest for rider. I wil buy it but not cheap in VietNam :D, nearly 15,000 usd.
Can anyone else see the big seagull in the tank, eh, Chopsy, can you see it?
Yup I know what you mean 😄👍
I do love the sound of these.. particularly the adventure. I just worry it’ll feel like a grom.. they look TINY!
well now prices like 5999 brand new, so what is the point buy 390 duke? :DX 😁🤣
😂 I live near there and I own a 790
Elan Valley reservoir
Why can't KTM's amazing engineering make a tft with faster changing speedo intervals.. they update only like twice per second, its so annoying.. otherwise great bike i'm looking into.
Actually most bikes are like this, not many which refresh at a super fast rate. Aprilia do... that's all I can think of
@@LambChopRides Yeah aprilia's looks super fancy. However my little honda's lcd refreshes faster than ktm..
Nice😎👍
Thanks ✌
Good price , not crazy on the looks but it seems like a very solid bike
Kate not in the hot tub?
This or an RS660?
Hmm good question, the RS 660 more of a sportsbikes, the Tuono 660 is quite a simalar feeling bike. Bit more money though and not ridden it in years so hard to compare from memory sorry
Another bike for you to test
All the better reason to test the Tuono 660 Factory then...
👍
Kates link aint workin btw.
Good spot, fixed now 👍
@@LambChopRides good chopsy 😁
Pretty sure this is the second tine youve accused me of scatting 🤣🤣 usernamescatter 💩
Haha yes I think your right Kate! 💩🫵😄
Thanks for the video, own a Duke 790 by myself, FYI i find your line selection on the video extremly dangerous and so like i dont know who to 2 it..., SY
Doing a quick search of 'KTM 790 reliability' might provide an answer as to why the price has been cut!
This new version it heavy updated compared to the original one, I would say all the issues are probably resolved..
As per Choppsie says let's hope so
@@LambChopRides I sure hope they're getting on top of the widely discussed reliability issues with some of their motorcycles because I'm contemplating getting a 1390 Super Duke R Evo next year.
if you look online for reliability issues for any vehicle, you'll find them.
half the people who talk about ktm reliability, have never owned one,and the rest want a platform to vent their anger.
just buy one,if its crap, sell it.
i bought one,its great,if it upsets me it'll go!simples!
@@mart7798 True!
Come on chopsy you can't keep promoting knox and not give use a 10% discount code .we are waiting
I will try! 😁👍
👍👍👌👌🍊🍊
Why should you upgrade this China bike? Rather buy a proper bike which is built in a factory with workers who are organised in a union.
A Union is not always the best solution. And actually, the bike can be proper even if the Union isn't. I know you mean well. But where to we say stop? Phones? Cars?
So many things are made in China, it's difficult finding a product who isn't. And what about the things within? Not an easy task doing the "right thing" here!
@@johnDukemaster actually I really care and avoid products from China. My smartphone was built in Korea, every single bike I have owned or currently own was built in Japan. The cars I have owned and currently own were built, Germany, Korea and Japan. My hiking and camping gear and most of my clothes are from Europe or fairtrade products. I could go on...Amazon is also a no...But you know what? Nobody is perfect. I only try to do everything I can. Some things are not under our control. I don't want to teach and convince people. People should do the things they want to do...fair enough. But it is not for me. Take care!
@@GCTO239 Thanks mate! Cheers!
Ofcourse the bike looks good with Kate sat on it 6:50. But otherwise, for people 6ft and above, you just look like a clown riding a kids bike. The same goes for most middle weights. I just don't understand why they don't build sporty bikes that are slightly bigger that's not a sports tourer. I'm pretty sure a lot of tall guys go the sports tourer / ADV route cause they don't wanna get laughed at. Its like being spotted in a fiat 500 (sorry fiat 500 drivers).
Yes I do agree, its why I like the 890 SMT. MT-09 isnt to bad a size however..
Yeah I saw your review of the SMT and I was very interested. I agree the MT is a actually good size and that includes the XSR too. But for me its the looks that put me off. Let's hope Yamaha releases an R9 with similar dimensions as the nakeds soon. @@LambChopRides
Hello mr chops is the wp worth the bucks
or Would you spend it elsewhere on the standard one regards tony ;)
Yeah good question.. yes probably after getting an exhaust for it first 👍
