Why no finger pads?
I know this would make using your hand to grab stuff more of a problem but it seems like the finger tips will be the first to wear out; also might just get tiring on the wrist to try so hard to keep your fingers up.
Maybe all this is a terrible idea, I have never owned a pair of slide gloves

Hell yes, love to see one of the most known brands finally offering a decent selection of gloves, wont lie the old ones didn't last long at all but great to see yall are filling the gaps in the market!

I live in an area where there is alot of steep hills. Should I get gloves as a beginner so I can slowdown?
That's a good idea but you should also make sure you know how to foot brake

Waited a month for a post and this is what we get :(
So you take some utility gloves, leather. You get a white cutting board, use your jigsaw to cut out a palm piece and two finger pieces. I like to use my fingers as well as my palm. take your heat gun and heat up the cutting board parts and press the pieces onto the gloves. make them yourself… It’s super easy.
I don't even know what this is but your project sounds like it could be made a lot easier with epoxy.
No it’s no glue, you just heat up the plastic cutting board and it sticks to the gloves. I’ve made several pair. Even sold a set at the skatepark after a young guy wanted them. I called them butter-fingers
Yes we used to do this years ago except we also used hot glue as well as somewhat melting the pucks with a heat gun. Always worked great. The black cutting boards seemed to work better.
