@photo199 Well, Wikipedia claims that the Winter brothers were from Beaumont, TX, which is definitely about as Southern as you can get. My guess is that his accent faded after years of living on the road and touring, as sometimes happens. You'll still hear a "y'all" come out of Edgar's mouth here and there. :)

Music does not change the world at all. I don't see a better world after Woodstock. If this were true we would have the best world already after the best composer ever Johann Sebastian Bach 1685-1750.
But no he did not change the world either.
