- We visited the National Slate museum of Wales to get a record of what it looks like now and be able to compare it in another video when it reopens in two years time. If you've never been look out for when it reopens, its a way more interesting place than the name suggests.
We hope you enjoy the video. Please like and subscribe. Bbbbbbbbbyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeee
I know of two museums closed "for refurbishment" then never reopened :(
What a shame.
im getting flashbacks to when I went as a kid xd
Another Great video from you and love the Historical ones especially about our Industrial Heritage, you are becoming one of my favourite channels and at timestamp 6:22 that would be the Vegeatarian option ;-)... Sorry had to do it. If ever you get the chance to go to St Fagans folk museum , outside Cardiff I would go and you would need a few days to cover it all. that trip would get a few videos, split up into a couple of parts. I think you would love the Seires made for BBC Wales in 2008, called 'Coal House' set in 1927 where they recreate the living and working conditions and is superb. It is available as a DVD box set and maybe worth checking youtube but I prefer the hard copy and Dvd players are cheap. Anyway will stop rambling on and bid you a good day. D ps. I would live in the 1860s house now and at 11:21 you had your shower for the week :-) (I couldn't resist.
Thank you, next time I’m down that way I’ll certainly take a look.
