The Radeon Pro WX-3200 I got used was just sold on its own and I would assume it is out of a HP of some sort because on GPUZ it shows the vendor as "HP". I had to get a full height bracket off ebay but that was only a few USD $ for it

Rx6800 16gb will eat 3080 with just 10gb in 2025 Your point about Wx5100 being memory limited is wrong, it's the huge amount of cores with such a low TDP limit. If you rise the TDP, you will get much much more perfomance.
I honestly don't think that RTX 3070 Ti buyers bother how it's going to perform in 2025, these people either upgrade each 1-3 years or just "🙈 give me Nvidia". You are correct about WX 5100, I am going to address it in the next video.

Pretty much everything with less than 16gb is going to be low end or dead in around two years or so at least in AAA and there is already talk going around in Nvidia that they need to start making 32gb cards for retail.

It's crazy that all of the videos from UA-cam creators, about the WX7100, are posting performance results from games. The WX7100 is a workstation graphics card and is not for games, it's for video and 3D creation. I'll be getting one soon. I'll be the first to make a video about what it's actually made for. lol
Wx7100 is slightly more efficient but mostly it's the framebuffer and better dx12 and future drivers support. So definitely 7100 unless you are on the cheap and play eSports at low quality, where the mi8 stronger core and higher bandwith give more frames

Especially without using ssd raid and using the ports to use graphics cards instead . I feel like it might be possible . UFD tech made a video about steamdeck where he used a similar solution .

The 480/580 drivers improved DRAMATICALLY over a few year period catching up to 1060 and sometimes beating it.
Sometime I still prefer 1060 for Nvidia's features including better streaming.

I would, but I don't see much interest in the MXM GPUs since the normal ones came down in price significantly.

My Dell monitor came with a mDP to DP cable, so that's what I used.

That's safe, technically everything under 100C is safe, but I would aim to keep it under 90C.

Huananzhi X99-F8 for sure supports PCI-E bifurcation, but AM4 doesn't, as far as I know.
